Smoke
The first whiff is not good. It literally smells like an old dirty cauldron. Dry down is better—the smoke turns into a sagey smell with frankincense or dragon’s blood perhaps. I’m never against the smell of either and usually find it quite exciting, but the smoke in the background kind of kills it for me. I guess I’m not a smoke lover.
I do have to say it’s witchy. A little dark perhaps. I’m not sure it’s for me.

Byredo Lil Fleur strange but wonderful

Suddenly on my wish list, I’m hopelessly in love with Lil Fleur. The sample I received is almost gone.
At first I thought it had the strangest scent, like a plastic, but after dry-down I was smitten. At first it has an almost synthetic odor with vanilla and leather prominent, but it disappears and leaves a truly unusual rose scent.
My husband said I smell delicious, which is always a great thing!
Top notes: cassis, tangerine
Heart: Damask rose leather
Base: woody, vanilla

Absolute Vanilla
I’m about to eat my own arm. Rating: 10/10
I’m not much of a vanilla fan when it comes to perfumes, probably because of some scent back from the 80s that I remember smelling and hating. I wish I could remember the name of it, but it was sickeningly sweet.
But, I digress. This perfume is delicious. I love how the scent of vanilla is comforting, and it lasts all day.
When I wear this fragrance I smell like a vanilla cupcake and cake is my most favorite thing in the whole world. I’m buying a entire bottle of this one.

Juicy, fruity and delish
Wild Child is my favorite scent from the Pinrose discovery kit, which I might add, is so cute with the rainbow colors!
Wild Child is juicy, fruity, and floral all wrapped into one. It’s fun and evokes memories of the fair I went to as a child.

Dill pickle
Pinrose Sun Saint smells like a dill pickle at first, but dries down to a nice, sweet floral with a few powdery notes at the end. It’s a nice daytime perfume once the dill wears off!
Of all my perfumes, this one has the strangest top notes.
