Don't come near me
Honestly, I got me a bottling of this fragrance, because of the good reviews of the sillage and durability. I find that already good, if I myself can perceive the fragrance for a long time. Of course, it always depends on the occasions.

So, yesterday so the Interlude Man generously applied and wondered me first a little bit. What is there for a strange note in it. Aha, oregano is listed as a top note.
Well, then I'll wait a little, that will surely disappear soon. Well, fiddlesticks!

The fragrance is really nice smoky and also gets a slightly vanilla note in the late course. To me always true so a bit after chocolate but without smelling like chocolate (get it? ;) And you actually perceive it super long itself intensely. Top H & S
As long as you do not get too close to him. Because whenever I smelled my wrist, I perceived a strange note that somehow reminded me of cabbage, broccoli or something, and I didn't like that at all.

So, spray some on your neck and let the scent lull you in, it's really nice. But this one note is for me but the reason why my filling may move on

Everything will be oud!
When I read the statements about the fragrance I thought this could be something for me. Dark, woody, leathery with a touch of sweetness. Sounds interested for the first time. The presentation and the name did the rest. I'm just a marketing victim too. And there I have struck at a good offer.
To the fragrance:
Immediately after spraying on you notice that you have it with an oud fragrance zutun. And dark he is actually also. One takes directly a light leather touch was and especially chocolate. Dark, tart chocolate. It wasn't listed, but it doesn't bother me at all. On the contrary.
And one takes directly also a freshness was, which seems to come from the rose geranium. The takes over then also after the top notes fade away. Also, the chocolate fades and it remains a slight sweetness with the freshness a little reminiscent of soap. Accompanied by the dark woods. And towards the base, I also strongly detect the incense, which must have been there all along, only it was a silent companion before. This incense is probably also the eponym. Voodoo.
What associations does one have with the word? Occultism, mystical, witchcraft, strange, exotic, culture.
Voodoo certainly wouldn't be the first thing that comes to mind when I smell this scent. But something like mystical, strange, exotic probably would. Only this fragrance is absolutely portable and pleasing what m.M.n is somehow in contradiction but also delightful.
If you spray the fragrance on textile, this actually works the next day like a gourmand.
This was definitely a blind buy that was worth it.

Youthful sins?
My brother lived above a Douglas store at the time and when I went to visit him once, I met an employee in the stairwell lugging boxes. Of course I asked for my help and as a small thank you I received a few shower gel and fragrance samples of this new Boss fragrance.
Yes and what can I say, it has been my scent ever since. Around here, it would be called Signature.
I have really worn it for every occasion, season or outfit. And I also got frequent encouragement for this pleasantly sporty fragrance.
The following years I have consumed three large bottles.
Unfortunately, this fragrance has also changed over the years (negative).

The funny thing is, when I smell the fragrance now, I think of nothing to it. It is relatively difficult to recognize individual notes. In any case, it is quite unique. Starts relatively fresh-fruity, synthetic and then becomes woody. And this woody stays with you for a long time.
I probably won't wear it these days but I'll probably keep the last ~20ml. For sentimental reasons - he was me always a faithful companion

The better ombre?
I got over a few swaps now to this TF Ombre Leather and what can I say, it now stays and will not be swapped further.
Immediately after the first test you smell the leather and indeed fine, high-quality leather and then you quickly take the second, I call it times main component was.
It has already written here some that it is something "berry". I have also directly thought of raspberry and associated with it directly also times a connection to the other Ombre. Nomad with name.
And indeed, a certain similarity is not to be denied. Only the OL has that certain something that the ON lacks. Namely leather and thus a m.M.n. yet a clearly masculine edge.
The scent progression I have felt as quite linear, where the leather dominates at the beginning, it changes later the place with the berry. But these two notes already set the tone.
Durability and sillage are absolutely ok and equal to the other Ombre

Extraordinary
The first impression is difficult to describe. But extraordinary is probably most accurate.
The nose must first get used to this fragrance. One searches in vain his olfactory memory. Yes, something fruity resonates in the prelude already, but rather not sweet. So blood orange (with peel) hits it quite well. But there is still something not tangible.
A tad in the plastic possibly. But not quite. Probably it is the solar notes listed here.
Kalan is modern and bold. And if a fragrance is different and bold, then usually because fragrance notes- or directions are too intensively present which should not be overdosed:
Too smoky
Too resinous
Too sweet
Too animal
Too much incense
Too much caraway
too much chamomile
too ...

Everything is well balanced here. There is nothing too much of anything. One tries all the time to fathom this fragrance and I think you have to test it a few times before this happens. As has also been described by other users.
It definitely has recognition value and the likelihood of someone saying "oh, reminds me of XYZ" is very low. If you know him, you know it's him.
So if you want to stand out from the crowd, this is a good candidate for it.

If, yes if, I do want to see a distant resemblance, it would be Axe Alaska + '
And in potent, of course.

In the drydown, the Kalan then becomes a bit softer, woodier and more pleasing. It comes through the light tonka bean but again not too strong.

Durability and sillage are considerable
