intensive rose scent - 2019
2019 I got the opportunity to test the fragrance "Reine de Nuit" by Byredo and would like to reflect my feelings and perception to you.
In the first few minutes the "Extrait de Parfum" sticks in my nose and it tingles a lot. Of course, it's possible that I was too close to my freshly sprayed skin... i am sometimes a little impatient!
After the sneezing attack :-) I can perceive a fruity and flowery thaw. Perhaps the saffron here already provides a round fragrance experience in the top note, because I perceive the fragrance as pleasantly warm. After a good hour, a balsamic note is added, which I find very pleasant. The fragrance becomes even more harmonious for me, even though it is at the same time heavy and opulent. It is somewhat spicy and gets along without oriental, spicy force.
In fact, I can still perceive the smell in my crook of my arm the next morning (about 06:30). Much nicer, however, is the scent in my pillow, which is clearly noticeably left behind there. (Additional info: I had sprayed on the scent the evening before around 21 o'clock)
After further tests I can summarize that this perfume has a long shelf life on me/on me. I like the perfume very much because of its balsamic floral heart, which is more warm woody than resinous towards the final fragrance. I find the fragrance soothing and strengthening. Furthermore, the pyramid of scents shown above reflects my scent perception pretty much exactly, which I acquired over a total of 4 tests, at different times

leathery scent
Thanks to a sample I was allowed to test the fragrance "Sellier".
This perfume is one of Byredo's more intense fragrances, which are available as "Extrait de Parfum", with a rather strong fragrance concentration (approx. 15-30% solution of a fragrance composition dissolved in approx. 96% alcohol).
The fragrance starts on my skin smoky and fresh leathery. I perceive the scent as tart, clean and not musty or even dull at all. It pricks my nose a bit when I get close to the skin. I can also perceive something soft, light and creamy, without sweetness and flowers. Now that I think about it, I can imagine this fragrance on a young man, full of energy without being overpowering, full of character and without arrogance. Furthermore, from my point of view, the fragrance fits into spring and into upcoming and "new" times.
From my perception, the scent continues to be very harmonious, it remains light and close to the body and the initially perceived prickiness has disappeared. Furthermore, I perceive it as cuddly and soft, but not as cuddly and enveloping, but it keeps a leathery freshness (on my skin).
In conclusion, I would like to say that I have found a beautiful fresh leather scent that is completely free of "heaviness", weight and sweetness and also does not have a fresh, tangy or citric scent. It is a nice middle course between too heavy and too light. A fine, light suede remains in the fragrance signature over the course.
Very fine and interesting for man and woman :-)

My fragrance of summer 2018
Already in 2017 the fragrance came on the market and I was happy when I found mail from Guerlain in my mailbox. At the next opportunity I went straight to the KaDeWe for testing. Normally it takes half an hour until I can sniff out the scent properly and determine whether I find it pleasant or not. This time it was different - after 10 minutes I had a connection to this fragrance. It is a green fragrance with a sensual component. Without knowing the fragrance pyramid before, I expected the description of the nice Guerlain lady, a (typically green) sparkling, light and after 3-4 hours flown away fragrance. That was not so - my perceptions to the smell:
For me this is a completely different green fragrance:
Sensual (but not woody), refreshing (but not citric-spritty), flowery (but not rosy, flowery, girlish), creamy (but not powdery and not a trace of fabric softener).
What does the scent do to me:
He gives me a stop when I have to be tough, he catches me when I need a motivation kick, he gives me the basis for my sovereignty in my profession (IT industry) and leaves me a veil of passion for the evening - just right for the time on the couch with my husband - according to the motto "Good evening darling - nice to hold you in your arms again" .... ;-)
Somehow this fragrance gives me energy throughout the day - in this sense I would like to recommend it to all those who are still struggling with it: Test several times and just write down your feelings, your feelings. Is interesting .... and does not wait for feedback from colleagues or other people.
