Weak and uninspired but at least expensive....
I'm actually a friend of describing fragrances in detail and allowing the reader some participation in my subjective view of my assessment . Ahead of time, here I will keep it relatively short. I also understand that many will probably not share my opinion but I hope that I can possibly save one or the other from a blind purchase.

The fragrance is for me very strongly oriented to Terre d'Hermès. Malicious tongues would claim that it would be a "cheap" clone. I have tested both several times side by side on my arms in direct comparison. The parallels are hardly to be dismissed from the hand in the case of my arm.
I have also worn the fragrance of LEN certainly 4-5 times during the day to see how he beats in everyday life and how he cuts off against the similar "brother fragrance".

For those who do not know TdH, the fragrance starts with a very bitter grapefruit and then mixes with very masculine with woody notes. (Of course, only briefly described)
The performance and also the fragrance in and of itself are at the Hermès EDP for a summer fragrance or a fresher everyday fragrance just outstandingly good, especially if you consider the price.

The Just Roulett starts a little softer and seems a little more balanced in contrast to the TdH. But that was then also the only advantage, because after a maximum of two hours (yes two hours!) The fragrance is no longer perceptible. I applied, believe it or not, 15 sprays in one day and after almost 3 hours, neither I nor my surroundings could still perceive the scent. I mean I am already bad performance of, for example, the brand Tom Ford (the summer fragrances) used but this is another category of lousy durability.
185€ for a fragrance that offers absolutely nothing new and after two to a maximum of four hours track is smelling for me only one thing.... absolute rip-off.

May be that the brand has some great fragrances in the portfolio but the here is at least with me with kettledrums and rockets failed

Stay away from cheese!!!!!
(At the very end of my commentary you will find a short summary)

Guided tour:

This is one of Jeremy Fragrance's more recent YouTube video titles that is as confusing as the similarity of the name and the fragrance character of "black tie". The title of the video should rather read: "stay away from black tie events when you wear black tie".

How dear "Jeremy", or rather Daniel Stütz, as his real name is called on my fragrance journey, shaped me, I have written down in detail in a longer commentary at Office for man. (Gladly read in) Wink Smiley

With ever new provocative and confusing videos the self-proclaimed scent guru keeps making Youtube insecure. In the beginning I thought that this was surely just to generate more attention, but in the meantime I'm not so sure if this is really what it's all about or if he's really going through a "difficult time" and discrediting himself publicly. He would like to have authentic reviews of unique delicacies and not just some unfounded nutritional tips, where every halfway educated person is clasping their hands over their head. But the times in which one has received this content are long gone

Description of "Black tie":

Now to the fragrance I would have preferred to stay away from at my first impression. (allusion to the cheese video)
The fragrance was strongly promoted by Jeremy as his fragrances before. Still, I hoped for no greater disappointment this time. After the catastrophic release of "Date for man", which was an absolute sweet synthetic bomb and therefore disappointed me, he didn't do much better with "unisex for everyone".

But the topic "black tie" seemed to be quite interesting to me and so I wanted to at least give the sample a fairer chance.

I would have loved to burst into tears at the first spraying, because at the beginning at least on my skin the scent absolutely smelled like Date for man. What a disappointment. So I sprayed the scent on my arm several times and let it work.
The opening is a strong synthetic fruit mix, which I didn't even like on "Date for man" or with fragrances like "Kirke" or "Erba Pura".

Fortunately, the fruit components were soon pushed into the background. Apparently the Paraguayan guaiac wood is responsible for this, which is now increasingly becoming a skin tax. I myself rather wear less woody scents, so this scent was at least something special for me or at least something new in its form. In combination with the sweetness the scent definitely has something unique and creates something to provide a scent experience at least in small parts.

If I were to describe it as simply as possible, I would say you've brewed 1/4 "unisex for everyone" 1/4 "date for man" and 2/4 wooden components into a relatively coherent mix. I could well imagine that lovers of "Creeds Royal Oud" who also like "Date for man" could definitely like the fragrance.

Jeremy's Youtube colleague, Tuyau, has described it quite fittingly in his review of the fragrance. (Feel free to check Youtube, the video is a very successful recession of the fragrance)
What he meant here was that the fragrance is not bad, but for the synthetic and also for the uninspired beginning it can't compete with absolute top niche fragrances. I can definitely agree with this opinion.

Summary:

So what is the end result? The fragrance leaves me a little bit perplexed, because it's not bad but never gives the "vibe" of a 330 Euro perfume, neither of the presentation nor of the fragrance itself. I would recommend everyone to test the fragrance extensively before buying and then to think three times whether this investment is in proportion to the performance. Besides, the name of the fragrance is absolutely inappropriate, as I would prefer dozens of fragrances for a noble "black tie event". (But maybe this point is also a bit subjective)

Nevertheless, I would like to make a few positive points. All fragrances from fragrance one have an above-average durability and silage, including the "black tie", which can be perceived on the skin for a good 5-7 hours in my environment and lasts even longer on clothes. Another point would be the beautiful wood accord in heart and base note, which I have never smelled before and which I find very pleasant. The scent also gets better and better little by little, as the unpleasant synthetic almost completely dissipates and a pleasant masculine, sweet-woody note remains. As far as I have researched, the fragrance is "made in Germany", which is perhaps uninteresting for many, but which I would like to emphasize positively.

Men in their early twenties who like to go out and polarize with their fragrance will certainly enjoy the scent. Basically, the fragrance is well received by men and women, which I would not have necessarily thought. In conclusion, I think the fragrance is the most solid release, besides "office for man", that Jeremy has brought to the market so far, but I'll leave the price out of it.

Thanks for your attention and remember:
"stay away from cheese or people who wear black tie at black tie events. ;-)"

Short summary:

"Black tie is" a sweet (synthetic) woody scent for a younger audience. The fragrance is well suited for going out or for a date. (Not necessarily for a black tie event)

Positive:

-Shelf life/silage
-made in germany
-partly very unique fragrance character

Negative:

-Top note very synthetic
-Peis is an insolence
-EXTREME misleading name

Smells like lemon tea performs like an energy drink!
From Nishane I heard for the first time through Hacivat another Aventus clone. My first thoughts were "Oh no, not another brand that builds clones and sells them overpriced".
In psychology, this would be called the halo effect. (certain characteristics or particularly prominent
Characteristics, are generalized to the whole person in this case the mark)

By many recommendations but I have then still durchgerungen the brand a chance to give me a sample of Wūlóng Chá because I was mainly interested in the teen note.

Quickly the sample was there and he was sprayed immediately. Sceptically I sniffed at the scent, as I am not the biggest friend of bergamot and musk.
"Mmmmhh pleasant" I thought to myself. I was already completely immersed in enjoyment when I realized that I was not analyzing the scent as usual, but simply enjoying the aura. Especially the tea accord calmed me down and gave me the feeling of freshly cooked lemon tea. I found the shelf life sufficient and took the days before this rather reserved tea scent to wear to work. No sooner said than done. The next morning I sprayed five sprayers in the best jeremy fragrance manner onto the known areas. After my twenty-minute bike ride, I entered the team room and sat down with my other colleagues for a meeting. It did not take five minutes before I heard a group of colleagues from the corridor exchanging ideas about my very strong smell. Now I noticed that the smell was extremely radiant and by now it took up the whole room. As I had hardly tested any musk scents I did not know exactly how blatant this substance can radiate on the skin and especially in combination with movement/heat on the skin. After the request of my boss not to bathe in the perfume next time and the statement of all that the fragrance is really good but unfortunately too much was applied, I had received my first feedback.

My summary of the scent course is now as follows:
In the fragrance process it starts incredibly fresh and citric but also slightly fruity. The teeny note quickly joins in, surprisingly creamy and slightly soapy.
From the scent, you'd think that's the end of it. But after about 30 minutes the fireworks start at least on my skin. The musk makes the fragrance very potent and makes it light, fresh and yet tart. I have to say that Nishane impressed me incredibly. On my skin the scent lasts for a good 8-9 hours, which is very solid for a "Freshi".
Spoilers I can tell you that there were other fragrances from the brand in question, which also performed incredibly well.

I was able to get hold of the fragrance for under 100 Euros on Notino and I am very happy with it, even though it is certainly not cheap.

I strongly recommend a test to all tea lovers, if they like fresh-sweet scents that have that certain something.

The king in the peasant dress
in the Middle Ages it was not unusual for the nobility to mingle unnoticed among the "simple folk". This happened for reasons of conviviality, opinion polls or to escape the court. To do this, however, even the finest of gentlemen had to disguise themselves, remove their pomp and slip into simple robes.

This metaphor always comes to mind when I think of Shaghaf Oud, which may not be as impressive as most niche perfumes in terms of price and presentation, but which does have "noble blood" inside.

I was allowed to sniff my way through a few rose-oud combinations in the niche sector but in the end the small, simple Shaghaf Oud was usually the most convincing fragrance composition for me. The perfume hits the skin with an almost brutal force. Houses like Dior, Prada or Chanel could learn a lot from silage and durability. I like to be the type of scent lover who has to exaggerate with his spraying and also likes to apply more than 5-8 sprays of his scents. (Often to the chagrin of my environment)
But even I have to slow down here. More than 2 sprayers and my environment is fogged in. Therefore my tip, be careful with the dosage. I have a few powerhouses in my collection, but I would definitely choose this one as one of my strongest, if not the strongest.

The fragrance itself is very pleasant to wear, despite its crisp appearance. The rose is very soft and vanilla. The character of the fragrance is quite linear, but that doesn't really bother me with this scent, because the gentle composition always has a calming effect on the nose. I see the fragrance more on a mature, self-confident woman, but nevertheless it is also absolutely wearable for men who can identify with the sweet powerhouse. For me the fragrance comes best in the deep winter. It accompanied me on many cold hikes or walks. The Sillage is with me about 7-9 hours, the shelf life is over 12 hours.

Finally, I would like to add that if the fragrance had been launched by Tom Ford, Parfums de Marly or Initio etc., no one would be able to complain about the quality.
For me, Shaghaf Oud is the niche fragrance from the "cheap assortment" that offers an incredible price-performance ratio.
That's probably why he can be called king of the cheapies.

Long live the king!

NOT just a fragrance recession!
About five years ago, I came across a YouTube channel Jeremy Fragrance, an impulsive, extroverted guy who philosophised about fragrances with his contagious nature and apparently could tell a story about each of his treasures. Jeremy was the name of the youtuber, at least that's what he called himself. Despite his unconventional nature, he had triggered an enthusiasm for scents in me. I watched his videos, bought some of the advertised perfumes and in the meantime even advised friends and family. My passion for fragrances was born. However, it was only when I joined the perfume family that it was consolidated, strengthened and intensified. An interest turned into a passion.

Jeremy's canal grew and he soon announced the production of his own first fragrance. Fans were eagerly anticipating and speculating about what would happen next. Everyone was expecting the new Aventus, a revolution in the fragrance world. For this, Jeremy even won Alberto Morillas, the messiah of the perfumery scene.

The promotion of the fragrance did not go well. Fluctuating prices, the inconsistent website, the time of the pre-sale, the bottle design, further batch changes were a few points that upset many potential buyers.
Especially the high prices shocked the community, which had hoped that Jeremy as one of the perfumes would always be evaluated fairly and openly and that the price spectrum would be moderate. But puff-puff. Especially in the first months you had to pay a lot of money to get a fragrance.

It didn't take long before the scent was literally torn apart, as it apparently couldn't keep up with the huge expectations.

But now for the fragrance:

For me, it is indeed a mixture of Aventus (50%) Bleu de Chanel (35%) and Sauvage perfume (15%). Especially in the opening, you really get the Aventus vibes in your nose. In the drydown, the BdC and Sauvage come through more and more. Durability and silage are excellent. Of course the scent is a bit ambroxan-heavy, but this doesn't bother me at all.

Jeremy and his perfumer respectively combine the upscale mainstream in one bottle with partly better durability and sillage. Fragrance One also achieves this today at almost the same conditions as Dior, Chanel and other popular brands, as long as you take advantage of the stated discount campaigns.

That Jeremy Fragrance has not reinvented the wheel of the fragrance world is now clear to everyone, I think. Nevertheless, he wanted to deliver a fragrance for the office that was a little more striking than most other office fragrances. In my eyes he has fulfilled this target 100%.

Now I just can't understand the bad ratings, except for the initially exaggerated price.

Thanks to Jeremy who brought me to a great hobby with his videos. In the end this was the first step to Parfumo and to this great and nice community. Many new fragrance acquaintances/friendships have been made here and I owe this to him. I do not say this as a JF fanboy, because I am rather sceptical about his newer content.

I would like to end with a quote from Wilhelm Busch. The interpretation is up to each individual.

"Envy is the sincerest form of recognition."
