I feel comfortable in...COCO - a comparison EdT/EdP
My coco. Eau de Parfum has accompanied me for a long time in good and bad times and even if I find it difficult to use it sparingly, this fragrance in the EdP version requires unconditional caution when applying it. All too often it has happened to my nose, which has long been used to this wonderful substance, that I used too much of it. 4 sprayers... WUSCHHHHHH...and even if I love him, the approaching armies of spices overrun me, balsamic honey drips out of every pore and I get between all fronts in the Rose War.
That's why the Eau de Toilette had to come here now and it keeps what the occurrences promise, since the descriptions of you committed perfumers gave me this idea at all.
Shortly after the application I notice a very beautiful fruitiness at the EdT. Not quite as liqueurishly palatable as with EdP, but lighter, somehow airier. The EdT is also pleasantly reduced in the seasoning. The honey is integrated in a wonderfully luxuriant flower bouquet and thus the EdT radiates feminine spicy warmth without exaggerating. The silage of the EdT is pleasantly close to the body (0.5 - 1 m) and the durability of my skin can be compared to that of the EdP (10+ hours). There is nothing that pricks, scratches or falls out of the frame in the nose. Chapeau, Chapeau!!! - because the Eau de Toilette has passed the everyday test with flying colours. It lures with sensual spices, a love-drunk rose and a dreamlike base (I hear a kitten purring...), is pleasantly silky in texture and airier than the EdP. This lightness regenerates the fragrance, gives it youthfulness and makes it extremely attractive for future generations. The bottle is easy to handle and simply "chaneleuse" in its simple elegance.

The eau de parfum is for me the scent for the evening, to go out. Opulent, sensual, sexy - pure femininity is celebrated here.

For me, both versions have found a firm place in the collection. Thank you, Chanel.

The spirits I called out
I wanted to like him so much - after all, I had received the precious sample from a dear perfumista. I took such trouble, the anticipation of showering; the careful cream of the skin, so that the scent holds well. A few splashes at the neck and in the arm bends and out with us, to the hike through a green-moist canyon.

I was immediately surrounded by the cool freshness of an authentic rose. So clean and clear, so pure and unadulterated. I thought he was great. The background was a remarkable natural backdrop, to which the fragrance fitted wonderfully. But what was that? Again and again the cool, delicate touch of the perfume blew around me and I began to feel uncomfortable. Got anxiety and breathed heavily. Was it the gorge that narrowed down to a dark green gorge? No, because the familiar path did not cause me any trouble. I sniffed at my arms again and again and try to call the beautifully described enchanted garden to my mind's eye. All in vain and slowly it dawned on me and may be an explanation for the fact that I don't have a single classic rose fragrance in my collection.

It's been a few years since my body's been through anything terrible. Mistakes happen. Even doctors are only human beings. I had no grudge .... After the weeks on the ITS and in the hospital I got an oil from a dear friend. It should calm the soul and heal the battered body. With the rose oil I tried to love my shredded body, overcame the disgust about this new body feeling and gently stroked the scars with my oiled hands. Night after night I repeated this ritual and thus linked this royal, even sublime scent of the rose with these memories forever.

"Time heals all wounds," they say. Well, maybe she doesn't cure it, but we humans learn to live with it. But I've changed. I have become selfish, thinner-skinned but also stronger, because I know how much my body is able to endure. And so this incredibly beautiful but very delicate fragrance does not match the dark memories I have. And so tomorrow I will choose another bottle - a strong fragrance, for a strong woman.

Thank you very much, dear Walti for your devotion and attention. I like "your scent" very much, just not on me

Ode to Silence
The ambivalence of life is also reflected in my fragrance preferences. Sometimes I like it loud and I love my Knowing, Coco or Jil Sander No. 4.
But on some days I don't like being on others' noses and prefer quiet tones. Then I want to be invisible or unscentable?
That's why my hand led me very purposefully to Sensations this morning. Aahhh, long my favorite daily companion for office. Long before perfume. Sizzle..... I can already see this pleasantly cuddly something. Is it the nettle flower? I don't know how it's supposed to smell. But Sensations envelops me. I'm comfortable. AAhhhh, mmhhhh, everything's fine. No trace of hectic (oh miracle and it's just before eight and I really have to go now!!!) He has such a gentle nature, has a decelerating, calming, balancing effect on me - and that with a high degree of coffee abuse in hectic and nervous predisposition! I can't believe this. There's no way that scent could get on anyone's nerves. He waves milky and woody around me, as it were, with a pleasant (not too strong) sweetness. Schööööön.

Meanwhile I am in the office - of course with a blatant delay. And I still perceive it discreetly. The shelf life of creamed skin is approx. 6 hours. If you want more, moisten your hair or clothes with the gentle mist.

Other scents cause sensations, because sensations lack projection and assertiveness.

It is neither spectacular nor outstanding.

But aren't we?

Just normal mediocrity, but nevertheless or precisely for that reason WALLY BEAUTIFUL.

Visiting the hairdressing salon
Due to the occurrences and the similarity to Coromandel, a test of Prada Amber was necessary. Said, done, sprayed.... Wait, what's the matter with the bottle? How do I have to pick it up? And hardly anything comes out of the spray head. Well, but two small splashes are enough, because Prada Amber starts with timpani and trumpets. A stinging synthetic hairspray haze penetrates my nose as if I was freshly fogged by the hairdresser. Puhhhhhhhh... After 5 minutes, the nose-killing three-weather taffeta monster disappears. The scent retreats, becomes very close and clearly sweeter - almost gourmandig - with a noble cream note. Aha, not so bad at all. So taken back, Prada Amber wafts around me all day long. Flattering sandalwoody, unflowery with tonka flair and resinous hints. The shelf life is good on freshly showered and creamed skin and is 8+ hours.
For Patchouli fans it is definitely worth a test. I give you a point deduction for the bottle: it is wider than high and does not lie well in the hand. In addition, the spray head is on one side, very impractical.

If I compare it with Coromandel, I would describe the Patchouli as much more present here. Less round and balanced than Chanel and therefore not really similar.

Summer's day
Blue skies tomorrow.

We're escaping the heat of the city. Things get packed fast. A short drive. Dark green coolness.

The tiny parking bay and a rotten sign are the only clues to an old forest school. Ferns and blueberry bushes line our path, leopard shadows and damp grass. A brook murmurs along the forest meadow at the long decayed building - ice-cold spring water glitters in the sun.

It's still early in the morning. I sit down in the sun and enjoy the quiet play of the children at the water. A gently flowery aura caresses me and I eagerly suck in the scent. Ah, Byzance...

You begin citrically, almost a little fruity. The flowers receive me immediately.
Bright flowers. Led by a delicate carnation. Your cardamom gives you a warm spicy aura and this calm, balancing aroma flows through me like warming sunbeams...

You're with me till early evening. The bank in the feral garden. But instead of concentrating on the book before me, I receive your gentle spice. Vanilla, musk and patchouli float above me, fraternise with fragrant grasses. I sit, breathe and enjoy. You're with me. What does it take more...
