In search of a male rose fragrance, this fragrance was my last stop for now. A considerable sum I put down for a Durftprobe, because the fragrance is already discontinued and samples are sometimes rare on the market.

For me, the fragrance is not very exciting. Rose is of course the main note. However, I lack exciting masculine accents. For a pure rose fragrance, I can also help myself in the women's department.

The good reviews let me hope. Ultimately, however, I was disappointed and will not buy a bottle. Maybe that's better. Now still a good bottle to get seems to be an adventurous venture.

In search of an everyday fragrance, I decided to make a blind purchase of this fragrance, which I could shoot cheaply in a 30 ml travel bottle. And yet it was a mistake.

The fragrance smells for me far too unnaturally artificial.

The notes I do not even want to describe further, because I smell dominant ambroxan in all phases. I would even go so far as to deny the expertise of anyone who calls this fragrance successful.

To end on a positive note: The idea of the fragrance is good. The used notes are sensibly combined, the way for a successful fragrance paved. However, it fails in my opinion at the implementation.

Cool and yet warm. Emotionless and yet warm. Noble and yet perfect for every occasion. Simple and yet exciting. Gehypt and yet rightly on the Olympus.

With Oud has this fragrance probably nothing to do. But with what has the fragrance to do? Clearly with wood. But otherwise? With no other fragrance I find a scent description as difficult as with this one. It smells like... "Tom Ford Oud Wood" - finished.

For me, a fragrance that works especially well in cooler seasons and with black dress, but can definitely be worn all the time.

If it had a better H/S it would be a perfect powerhouse for me and a 10 out of 10!

I was looking for a fragrance to accompany me on vacation with my partner to southern Italy. I quickly found it in the summer collection of my favorite brand Tom Ford. For me, it could only be Costa Azzurra Acqua, because all other Acquas were either too feminine or too weak on the chest. The big brother Costa Azzurra has triggered in me too much the association of a walnut, as that I would want to wear him at 30 degrees.

With Costa Azzurra Acqua, I found a scent that transported me to the coast of southern Italy, even though we couldn't make our trip due to viruses. The scent gives a feeling of sea breeze and sun, under cypress trees with filleted citrus fruits. The fragrance has enough depth to be worn in everyday life. Only the longevity leaves something to be desired in terms of punch for a "daily beater". But the name "Acqua" already suggests a certain wateriness.

Overall, a successful summer fragrance. After a 5ml sample I have struck at a 50ml bottle. Niche? Rather no. Good? Yes!

Now and then I had used Eau de Toilette, until I got recommended this fragrance in a perfumery and took it with me. He showed me that the world of fragrances is more diverse than the Eaus, which smell like aftershave or shower gel and I knew until then.

A very independent, summery, citrusy spicy fragrance, which is fun only from 20 degrees, but here comes fully to the fore.

Freshly squeezed lemons and just felled cypresses of Tuscany combine with light floral notes to create a scent that can shine in the summer, but unfortunately, due to a lack of H/S, is applied by me far too infrequently.

With better H / S would the fragrance in the niche segment can easily keep up. Nevertheless, I speak a purchase recommendation or at least a test obligation for all those who are looking for a citrus summer fragrance, which 1. does not smell like any other summer designer and 2. the purse not too badly burdened.
