I've changed.
"Synthetic freshness mixed with leather. For me too pungent and simply unappealing," I wrote a year ago as a statement and gave this fragrance 5 points.

But what happened in a year?

I was always looking for sweet, gourmand scents. "Valentino Uomo (Eau de Toilette) | Valentino" was the first fragrance I bought myself in 2014. Before that I only wore fragrances that were given to me ala Bruno Banani, Mexx, Jil Sander sun etc.

Sweet, gourmand scents were delicious and seductive to me, and that's what I wanted to be ?.

Somewhere along the way, I also started wearing fresh scents that weren't noticed right away. I thought that in the summer the fresh scents are more appropriate than the heavy gourmands. The Freshies were eig only means to an end, because I said to myself: "A day without perfume, is a lost day." ? So I wore these fresh scents, which I could hardly distinguish at first, they were "characterless" and smelled for me all almost the same.

At some point I began to recognize or smell differences and noticed especially that I now wore fresh, woody scents more often than the Gourmands, as they were simply pleasant, not challenging and liked by almost everyone around me.

During that time, I got a sample of "Bleecker Street | Bond No. 9" . My first association was: "A cool fresh scent. An unsympathetic businessman who acts like an A
l**, yet is very powerful."

1 year later, I am neither a businessman, nor powerful, and as for the A
l
* part, I can't judge for myself ? but I fell in love with this fragrance. He is unique, unswar in its own way.

green, fresh, cool, masculine, (ISO E Super?) and linear. I feel good and confident.

Unfortunately, I don't smell jo berry, cinnamon or vanilla. And the sillage is adequate indoors. But on the whole, the fragrance is recommendable for a price well below the MSRP.

1 to 1 comparison
Private oud starts a bit more pungent than oud wood, but after 10 minutes it becomes clearly pleasant. During the whole course of the fragrance is private oud mMn a tad fresher than the original, which is not so bad. About the durability you read different opinions. I belong to those who smell private oud significantly longer on the skin than oud Wood.
On my skin:
OW = 2-3 hours
PO = 5-6 hours

Unfortunately, I didn't know oud Wood before I bought private oud blind. I have only in the last few days by chance of a parfumo a free sample of OW get and thus I could compare the two. Both the original and the P/L moderately well done dupe is not for me. Am but pretty sure that private oud will have his fans.

So who wants to have oud Wood a tad fresher with better durability and significantly cheaper, is in good hands with private oud.

It is what it is.
Bought the fragrance because it was relatively cheap and I knew I would use it when I do not know what fragrance to wear otherwise.

I don't know if I'm just clueless more often than not or not, but DH2020 is one of the scents I fall back on the most. When I had a sample earlier this year, my first impression was, "OK, Dior has a BdC competitor now. I actually find this one more likeable than Bleu."

I thought the fragrance was good and rated it 7.5 at the time, precisely because it wasn't a revelation for me.

9 months later, I have a 100 ml bottle, which often comes into use, because I have discovered a new side to me.

I also want to wear times a fragrance that just "only" smells good, is not particularly creative but I'm still happy when I get over the day times here and there a breath under the nose. A fragrance, which maybe not so noticeable, so that people talk to you about it, but if they do, it is guaranteed not negative.
This scent gives me confidence, but not the kind of confidence I have when I wear polarizing scents, but rather "I smell good, and I know everyone around me is of the same opinion" kind of confidence :D

It's fresh, tangy, woody and masculine. Just the modern man. It's just fun to smell.

The durability is not so bad. On my collar I smell him 1-2 days, on the skin up to 7 hours perceptible. For work and / or leisure activity's enough perfectly.

Does the fragrance necessarily appear under "Homme"? Yes, because Dior redefines the "man" with it. The original was a statement, and so is the 2020 version. Whether we like it is another question.

Is it marketing wise? No, or maybe it is. I don't know. I honestly don't care either. I know the difference, I know there are two versions, and the new version has worked for me and is getting an update in scoring.

Maybe it's a SLUT from the 80's
I will not consider the name, because as it looks like ATH itself has noticed that the name does not match the fragrance. The new SLUT (2020) smells quite different. And as I interpret or suspect it correctly, he will release the "old" SLUT under the name "dirty jasmine".

For me the fragrance is citric, a bit flowery and has a certain spiciness. It has an oldschool vibe, reminds me of a masculine guy with pilot glasses, moustache and chest hair in the 80s.

I have worn it the last few days when we had just over 0 degrees and I must say that on colder days I like it much better than in summer.
Maybe it is also because the fragrance has stood long enough and can now really unfold, because I didn't notice the spice in summer.

I must say, on the whole I like the scent well, I like this oldschool vibe and the H/S.
I can smell it on my skin for up to 9 hours, which is a very strong fresh scent.

But I must also say that SLUT 2019 is not a repurchase candidate either. Although I can hardly imagine a fragrance that I would buy again. There are far too many good scents and alternatives

I hate that smell!
I can't rate him badly because he is actually good, and has a DNA that really will please any person. Still, I manage to hate that smell

For me it starts with a citrus/vanilla combo, and little by little the citrus disappears and vanilla remains the main protagonist. For me, this fragrance also remains linear. And that's also the problem! After 3-4 hours the scent starts to annoy me, because it always smells the same. The problem is, I put it on at 8 o'clock in the morning, and while I'm writing this comment (19:55 o'clock) I still smell it!

If I had to characterize this fragrance, I would consider it to be a person that everyone finds likeable, that is apparently intelligent, independent, humorous and polite. But I've got it all figured out! The person is not at all what he pretends to be. Because in reality she is stalking you, constantly annoying you by showing up somewhere where she shouldn't be and wants to attract your attention. And all the other people that you are with go down because they have all the goddamn attention. And that >10h!

OK, enough with the rage.

It's a nice scent, but there's hardly any variation in the progression
