Christian? Is that you? No! Yes! Ohh!
Do you know that, you have a scent in front of you that you can't grasp right ?
It is absolutely not in your bag scheme, but the composition of the notes makes it so interesting that the nose sticks to your wrist all the time ?..

The fragrance White Storage is such a fragrance for me.
It's supposed to be a tribute to the Japanese model / mannequin / actress: Sayoko Yamaguchi....okay, you probably feel the same way as me, who is that ???

Since you are also lazy, I will try Wikipedia for you and copy the following sentence :
Yamaguchi was the first supermodel from Asia in the 1970s; in 1972 she made her debut at the Paris fashion shows and soon became famous as the "ultimate Japanese beauty".

Aha, so far so good.
Her trademarks, if you like to call it that, were her pure, flawless white skin and her pitch-black hair, which resembled a doll sacred in Japan.

This mysterious but also at the same time innocent, pure and naive, shall now reflect this fragrance.

The impatient reader will now ask himself AND ? the scent succeeds in ?
Short and sweet: Yes !

The fragrance starts off citrically tangy, fresh and creamy, which really, in my case, creates a fragrancetaura of purity/clarity in this composition. (a very clear, light incense can be seen in the distance ...to sniff it out :) ....... second parenthesis (and yes, there is a slight fennel note, but this one remains with me at least very discreetly "GOTT SEI DANK")

So the fragrance lingers for a while until woods slowly but surely mix with this tart freshness, no dirty, animalistic stinker oud .......but soft, creamy woods that give the fragrance a little more depth ........

and then it drifts me like a blow........is this the scent I had gotten in my imagination of "Bois d'Argent", only this one had disappointed me so much ?

I would describe it like this :
White Storage is the fragrance for all who have perceived "Bois d'Argent" musty and boringly sweet/earthy !

This is the creamy / tart fresh wood variant with more depth that takes time !
So more like:
"Paillettes de bois d'argent"

The tears of joy of the barista
Nowadays there are coffee scents like sand at the sea, one even thinks that a "coffee" note is part of the good sound of every perfume.

On my odyssey for the perfect coffee scent, I have finally arrived !

I can say without telling lies, with all seriousness, what the theme perfume requires... this and only THIS fragrance comes closest to an authentic coffee experience!
SIC! Black coffee boy! :)

The circle was closed a few days ago, when I tested the last known and accessible coffee scent "Coffee Break - Golden Dallah" and believe me, I had YOU ALL :) (almost)

(Ok in my defense I would like to say that I am missing some small manufactories in America,
the scented oils with coffee flavors and really everything can not be covered)

No disturbing rose, no excessive vanilla, no sandalwood, no flowers etc.....just coffee... black, dark, roasted !

Of course I don't want to say that the other fragrances don't have any reason to exist, not at all!
There are also coffee scents that over 2 hours that capture coffee theme well, but then unfortunately turn in another direction.

For my part, I just wanted a coffee scent that smells like opening a 1kg pack of coffee beans fresh and what can I say:
Mission accomplished!

The question that always comes up: "Do I want to smell as if I have poured espresso over me? "
YES ! unequivocal !

The shelf life is very good (10 hours) / the Sillage is the first hours well perceptible to one meter, but then becomes closer to the body, but remains for me always present as an aura.

Mission blind purchase, full success! Part II "The resurrection of the Blackbird"
Silence lies over the forest.
The incoming sunbeams of summer make way for the twilight; the wind freshens up and whips the first harbingers of the approaching autumn around my nose.
The crowns of the fir trees sway back and forth, quietly and thoughtfully, as if to whisper something to me.

Under my strolling steps swirls the leaves and the needles of the firs.
The cool air enlivens my thoughts...my steps into the forest carry me further and further...the last rays of sunshine are almost completely swallowed by the ever denser trees and bushes.

Suddenly a small clearing opens up in front of me, the wind gets stronger, the whispering of the fir trees swells to a staccato of rushing and whispering.
On the clearing I discover a hidden blackberry grove, which, covered with the most luxuriant fruits, meanders criss-cross along the trunks of the firs

I stretch out my hand to taste the fruits swollen with juice and overripe...............

..........and awaken....a knock tears me out of the dream.

Sleep-drunk my look turns to the window ......Her yellow beak flashes at me ......is she it again ???

Our eyes meet, she sniffs at me.........
in her beak triumphantly a berry, she swings from thenen.

Paint the church of Avignon, leave it in the village!
First of all many thanks to Scentence who sent me a small sample of this fragrance!

First way:
I don't want to step on anyone's tie and find it really nice what associations a fragrance can evoke in some people.

With me this is not quite the case, or actually even contrary.
Although I can understand, but only after I've read the recessions, why the scent is perceived that way.
That's why the headline is deliberately chosen like this.

I smell first and foremost cloves, nutmeg, pepper (yes it may even be pink pepper) and wood.
(More about the wood later)

The fragrance goes directly into the solid when sprayed on for the first time and starts with a very distinctive pungency (clove and pepper), which is however soon weakened by a discreetly sweet note (might it be the orange?).
Anyone who has ever spiked oranges with carnations for Christmas will be able to imagine what I mean. Although the orange here is not dripping with juice, but rather somewhat dried out and wrinkled ☺

In the course of time, the nutmeg quickly joins in, underlining the bitter-sweet scent.

The clou, in my opinion, is the cade wood (juniper wood), which is used by many of this herbaceous, earthy "I am in a Provencal forest" to heat up head cinema.
(of course underpinned by the strong, tart notes of the spices)

But with forest, moss, mushrooms, witch women etc. this has nothing to do with it...for my part I see there rather a dry, sandy and barren heath landscape, with maybe a few scattered trees and the dry wind, with the sun above me, drives the smells of the plants into my nose...if I really concentrate on the scent.

For me this is rather a dry, slightly oriental scent (at least very southern scent), which in my eyes, has nothing to do with a forest gnome and moist mossy, deep forest.

The scent is by no means bad, but certainly not a mystical, dark secret that some want to see in it.

But maybe this is also the strength of "Baba Yaga" or of fragrances in general
You can kidnap anyone in a small, new world.

Durability and sillage are safely in the midfield.
The flacon design is beyond all doubt, but as described above, it does not correspond with the fragrance experience ! in any way

Citric summer scents ? Not with me!
Well the headline is a bit lurid, I admit it, but I was and am, I have to say this in my defense, never the biggest fan of "Fresh out the Shower - so clean and fresh" fragrances #sic Jeremy ☺

Then why did it get the mandarin from Amalfi into my collection ?

Quite simply...Quality is the trump card !
Why should I sniff through hundreds of scents in the citric segment when Mandarino simply convinces by its ingredients and I don't really like citric scents that much?
Of course, the smart and attentive reader could say : "Yes, but then you have no other reference and don't even know if there are still great citric summer scents!....... Objection!!! #sic Phoenix Wright

As a good "Parfumo disciple" I have of course collected a large cross-section of all perfume areas...I simply know what I like and what not.

In direct comparison to e.g. "Happy for Men Eau de Toilette", which I also like for nostalgic reasons, Tom Ford wipes the floor with Amalfi, passing by!
(A somewhat unfair comparison that I admit, but the ingredients simply play out their superiority)

The fragrance itself is just perfectly balanced!
The eponymous mandarin (eig.Grapefruit and Orange) dominates with a fresh, slightly tart but also sweetish note, whose foundation, creamy nuances, persist throughout the course of the fragrance. (On my skin at least, by various feedback)
LECKER !

The biggest weak point, as already criticized by some, is the durability and sillage, which is a bit painful with the price...so the purse.

Conclusion:
For people who have the necessary small change, simply pay attention to good ingredients and with citric fragrances eig. not much can begin, this fragrance is recommended.

If citric, then so !
