The robbers live in the forest
There are princess scents like sand at the sea. Mostly they come in pink flacons, often decorated with ribbons and glitter. But what about perfumes for all the other fairy tale characters? The evil wolf was thought of as "Mechant Loup", but I can't think of much for the rest. Too bad, I would find such a fairy tale collection exciting. How does Rapunzel smell? The seven dwarves? Mrs. Holle?

With "Join the Club - Don" I have now found a fragrance that seems to have been created for the evil robbers ("Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten"). From the very first moment there is a lot of powder being shot. I haven't smelled this gunpowder note yet and even if it is particularly strong at the beginning, it never leaves the fragrance. I don't like it, but I think it's surprisingly well hit. If the robbers don't shoot straight, they light a small campfire, poke in the embers and let it smoke and coke. Whether they smoke a pipe at the same time is not quite clear. Anyway, they're sweating a little. Unfortunately they forgot the whisky in their house in the woods or already drank it without me.

Durability and sillage are quite good, but don't reach the end of the flagpole (for me "Vanitas" is the reference fragrance). Evaluating the scent itself is more difficult. It's certainly well done, but I don't like the slightly sweaty or the ubiquitous gunpowder. Let these guys keep it for a change.

Stay strong!
Admittedly, as a teenager I used to smoke secretly on a regular basis. Preferably together with your best friend somewhere in the great outdoors. Besides tobacco and lighter, our smoking utensils also included a special kind of sweets, which could only be bought in pharmacies. A kind of salmiak pastilles coated with peppermint. I liked her almost as much as I liked the train at the cigarette butt and loved this special odor mixture of sweet mint candy and tobacco, which I combined with the exciting experience of conscious border crossing. When I sprayed on "Tabacco d'Autore" the memory was suddenly there again and after years of abstinence I suddenly felt like going outside and smoking a cigarette. There's only one thing to do: stay strong!

After the grandiosen prelude for me quickly further smell notes add themselves to it. Every now and then I smell something slightly fruity, which makes me think of pipe tobacco and perhaps pipe smoke as well. In addition, there is a kind of cold smoke; I already liked this note surprisingly well in "Cuir blanc" by Evody. Probably it's the leather I associate in both scents with this cold, meandering smoke. It definitely fits here very well. Both scents come out sometimes more, sometimes less. In addition, there is a light sweetness, which is often found in loose tobacco. It remains, however, with only a slight sweetness, which I personally very much like. After about four hours the tobacco says goodbye so slowly, it becomes a little resinous and reminds me at the end of classical spice soap.

"I like "Tabacco d'Autore" very much during the whole course, but I would rather smell him on a man. And even there, he doesn't suit everyone. In any case, the topic "tobacco" was well implemented - almost too good for my taste... But I have stayed strong and will send the rehearsal on in a few days anyway - let it lead others into temptation!

You're stupid!
A few weeks ago, I came across a bottle of "Reve de Weil" through the exchange game. And although he is not necessarily one of the favorites in my collection, somehow I like him. Apart from the really cheap looking plastic lid, the flacon is also quite pretty and especially the box. Today, when I discovered a close relative of the fragrance for little money, I decided to take a quick look at Parfumo. "Fresh-flowery"? Well, that can mean anything and nothing, and it's not totally my scent. But I like some of the fragrances - which doesn't necessarily mean that I like the whole work. But the curiosity and/or the buying impulse has won.

At home, I sprayed the newcomer right away. Oha! Something spicy citrus - and "spicy" in the literal sense! - splashing on me. The mandarin, maybe? That's not what I expected and my first thought is: "You're stupid!" Packaging and bottle can't make me more conciliatory; both look like a cheap copy of some "Cool Water Woman" Flanker to me. And although the bottle was still originally shrink-wrapped at the time of purchase, a spike has already detached itself from the white layer of paint at the bottom... Aquatic or just as promised fresh I don't find "Eau de Weil" at all. Quite apart from the fact that the original price I checked does not exactly indicate a dupe.

As if he had read my thoughts, the scent, which I really felt as a bitch in the beginning, is then relatively quickly milder, friendlier, more pleasing. Madame is remembering her good manners. In the base I even find it a bit similar to "Reve de Weil", but with much less Sillage. Not bad, not unsagenehem, but also not at all exciting and unfortunately somewhat synthetic. I'd have expected more from that bitch. She is now gently flowering, a little sweet, perhaps even a little fresh from time to time. Sounds a little boring? Unfortunately, it is.

I give first a friendly 6, because this Weil did not convince me today. A few more tests will follow - sit on 100ml for now.

P.S.: Does the blind buy support group still exist???

Make-up on "unvarnished
Anyone who knows how to apply make-up discreetly in a skilful manner will sometimes pass for "pretty and completely unpainted". However, those who use such tricks themselves see through the supposedly natural beauty of others. And you know the reasons: you just want to look a little better without feeling painted. Striking make-up, which is immediately recognizable as such, is perceived as "too much" in everyday life; in contrast, you feel somehow naked without make-up at all.

"Mistral Female is my olfactory counterpart. A fragrance that simply makes you smell a little better without feeling perfumed. When spraying on, one can still clearly recognize fresh citric notes, but these evaporate immediately. I don't notice the flowery notes, but I find the base of musk, tonka bean and cedar successful: Musk contributes cleanliness, tonka bean some sweetness and warmth and cedar prevents the whole thing from slipping too much into sweetness. "Mistral Female" is a clean but warm fragrance. As it also remains very close to the skin, it is probably not even perceived as a perfume by most fellow men. It's easy to pass it off as "unscented."

In my collection there are meanwhile several representatives of this direction: "Comma", "Nuit Marine" and certainly some others. Pleasant, but also discreet and rather inconspicuous. No olfactory challenges, no big litters. Well suited, however, for days when I don't really feel like perfuming, when I would feel completely unscented but naked from a fragrance point of view. "I also like to use "Mistral Female" to scent my clothes. I like it very much, only the durability could be better.

Heat-free!
In primary school we sometimes had heat-free days on particularly hot days. The unexpected free time was great and even if it was too warm to learn - it was never too warm to play outside. Nuit Marine reminds me of the smell of such summer heat. "Nuit Marine" literally smells of heat, glowing asphalt, shimmering air, dry grass, a brooding warm day in the country. He has a very slightly synthetic overtone for me. But that fits, because heated asphalt doesn't necessarily smell natural.

Somewhat misleading I find the "Marine" in the name: here I would first suspect something aquatic, which one looks in vain, however, in this smell. In this respect, however, I was warned or better said well informed. Since I got "Nuit Marine" as part of a nice exchange package and had never heard of the smell before, I used the short waiting time to get to know as much as possible about him in advance. In the net, one finds almost nothing; but luckily, there are already some scent impressions here on Parfumo. While reading the Kommis and statements I quickly realized that there was no Aquate on the way to me and my curiosity grew. After the arrival, the packaging and the bottle made me a little suspicious. Somehow both remind me of the kind of perfume that is offered in Kaufhalle & Co... But far from it! Neither does "Nuit Marine" come from there, nor does it smell cheap. Not spectacular, not necessarily unusual. But very good if you like heat. After spraying it on, my first thought was: "He's coming on vacation!" But I quickly changed my mind, because under the southern sun I would rather have a fragrance that is refreshing and refreshing "Nuit Marine" not at all. On hot summer days in Northern Germany I still like to wear it surprisingly; even more on warm evenings.

The bottom line is a successful fragrance that has won my heart in all modesty. It can stay and has been used eagerly and abundantly for weeks. Durability and Sillage are not too lavish, but as with most fragrances, you can use it to spray on the clothes (smells wonderful). The scent may be a little woody and spicy, but it is dimmed down instead of intense. "Nuit Marine" is a rather delicate, warm, subliminal and sensual fragrance that I wouldn't want to miss anymore.
