Hammer!
After reading many comments describing the similarity with Aromatics Elixir, I ordered it. The resemblance to AE is downright eerie! Also the durability and the silage are incredible. For me, Aramis 900 really is an absolute twin. And since the AE has obviously been reformulated, I am doubly pleased about that. And thanks again for fixing it. :-))

Unfortunately....
...I had to say goodbye to the scent. It's no big deal. I turned it on my husband. :-)
I was kind of hoping for the male equivalent of "Perles de Lalique", simply because of the pepper. The white pepper is already quite blatant and some caution is required. After a few minutes he disappears and then nothing happens. After about 10 minutes I notice a very pleasantly light and woody sweetness which resembles a little bit the sweetness in "Perles". I always like to spray something on my clothes, as I did yesterday. There the pepper is quite persistent, the sweetness I find rather on the skin. After about 4 hours she was almost gone, the sweetness..... and I had to press my nose on my skin to even notice it. Very, very sad, because this gentle note is exactly my taste.
For me, the shelf life and even more the sillage have failed, I would have had to reload several times a day, but I don't want to smell as if I had shortened my stew, who wants that? Was once again a blind purchase, this time unfortunately nothing for me. But he stays in the family, maybe my husband should add a little more Maggi. :-))

And again here angry foxed! :-)
The Poudree came today, OMG... it's beautiful! I usually don't recognize the notes in the description and don't smell the iris. For me, it begins really wummsig, but first rather creamy-wummsig than powdery. The powder comes after approx. 10 minutes, then probably the cedar wood joins to it. I find between heart and base the scent no longer changes so much. Due to the slightly sticky consistency, it probably holds up quite well, but I can't judge that so well yet. And it's true, it's better to just spray 1-2 times and then wait and not immediately go to the bakery or the office. :-)) And at 30 degrees in the shade maybe not, for me rather an autumn-winter fragrance, but sensational!
The bottle looks very noble and valuable.

By the way: Starting with the heart note, the scent looks familiar to me, as if I had had something like this before, but should have been a long time ago, perhaps in the 80-90s.

Edit: I would describe the durability as mediocre. After approx. 5-6 hours the scent is perceptible with me only close to the body.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
Today it came and it's kneeling down! First I notice something hot, pepper and something that smells of disinfection, so violent. After only 5-10 minutes, this woody powderiness develops and continues to intensify. After 2 hours it reminds me a little of Encre Noir, only softer. And... I smell incense that the description says is not in there. I have been wearing the fragrance for almost 4 hours now and it is still very noticeable. I find Perles Lalique stunning and it's nothing I've had before. I think I'll test myself with other Lalique scents! Thanks for fixing it...:-))

I love him...
For me, Rose Couture smells similar to those rose cones I loved to buy about 10 years ago. And somehow the scent is more woody than floral for me, for me it's a good mixture and the durability is outstanding, I wear it already 8 hours today.

Update:

When I wrote the above commentary, I had previously had a fragrance sample for spraying Douglas. Now I have a big bottle and unfortunately I have to revise my rating. I had the sample on my wrist and for many hours I noticed a rather rosy-woody note. The scent in the large bottle seems to be almost different. It starts with a soft, rosy sweetness, but after about 2 hours it develops into something that makes me think of a Christmas market, it becomes somehow cotton candy and almond and I smell neither rose nor patchouly. Then it disappears almost completely, in contrast to the rehearsal. But I like to spray the scent on my T-shirt, it's the only way it lasts a little longer and doesn't stain. It's pleasant, you can't take too much of it, the scent never gets more intense, but it's just not the scent as in the sample anymore!
It is interesting to note that somewhere in the evaluations there was almost the same experience of a customer. What happened? Is the scent for the samples mixed differently or even changed in composition?
