Particularly unspecial
Creed. Thanks to Aventus, the name is now also known outside of the "fragrance scene".
Aventus this, Aventus that. Represented in every list and now so dead hyped and reformulated that you can't hear or smell it anymore. A good scent without a doubt, worth the hype.....Taste_decision.

In the long shadow of Aventus are the other scents of Creed.
So is Viking. Even though it is presented in a beautiful red, the design of the bottle with the "belly band" already pays a certain homage to its big brother.

The fragrance, however, stands on its own two feet and leaves me a little perplexed after testing.
Is it really worth a purchase at the "horrendous" Creed prices ?

First of all, the name is for me something that had awakened a completely different expectation in me when I first heard about the fragrance
Musk, animalics, sea salt, wood, cold of metal and sea would have been something I would have wished for somehow......

But Viking starts quite fresh in my nose, dominant citric and some spice.
After some time, the citrus note diminishes, it becomes less spicy and the rose comes through.
Peppermint, uncreamy sandalwood and lavender are for me in the later course of the fragrance quite good and give the whole thing somehow an "aftershave" character
Not shower gel fresh, or disinfectant alcoholic.
Rather memories of aftershave, barbershops and sedate older men with fresh haircuts and smooth cheeks come to mind. And not too old-fashioned in the process.
Viking would appear quite unspectacular in the overall impression, a perennial that fits most occasions and does not make too blatant a statement.
If there wasn't this indefinable one in the background, something reminds me in some aspects of Enigma by Roja. Not an extremely dominant "effervescent powder" note, but a spiciness that gives the whole "clean-soft" barbershop scent a certain twist and makes this unfamiliar scent interesting.

Viking. A fragrance for the softer men who want to have the feeling to dare something daring even without a wild beard on their face, without plunder trips or drinking mead until they drop ?
Who would like to lean out of the window without taking the risk of falling, who wear a colorful tie with a white shirt ?

A little bit in that direction, because for the fragrance category in which Viking moves, he is something special, but in comparison to the other fragrances that can be found in the scent party crowd here on Parfumo, he is more the shy boy who just came from the hairdresser

Durability, SIllage for a Creed ok.

Swedish Coffee - or simply Fika
When I left to travel Scandinavia by train it was cold
Actually not exactly the right weather to cucumber through the north with a backpack, but tropical beaches and beach facilities were unfortunately never my preferred destinations
Before it started I dug out my new acquisition of Kilian and sprayed.
Not 1x not 2x no, whole 4 times. A mistake as it turned out, because the compartments I spent the next 12 hours in were suddenly all astonishingly well ventilated after a while
Despite the freezing cold outside. But my fellow passengers didn't say a word about my obtrusive smell, only some glances stuck to me from time to time. Friendliness definitely looked different.

But I didn't feel uncomfortable. The aura that Black Phantom exudes is simply bewitchingly beautiful and invites you to feel good, as long as you are not too sensitive and do not overdose.

The coffret with the skull and the name Black Phantom I have not understood until today, this fragrance has nothing deadly or phantom-like.
This thing isn't a black espresso or anything cloudy in the dark.
No hospital staff coffee to make the unfortunate half-dead nurses from the late shift fit again for the early shift.
Just a normal coffee to go,with a nice shot of rum and lots of sugar syrup.
Personally, I like him best the first 1-3 hours
Nice boozy coffee, a fragrance that warms the whole body in the cold evenings.
It becomes problematic for my feeling out the back.
The fragrance has a monstrous durability, unfortunately, in the end only sweetness remains with me.
Something like syrup that really pulls and unfortunately on some days (as beautiful as it is and as much as I love it) it gets a bit intrusive/ exhausting.

He who is praised in heaven.....
. . .he finds it hard to live up to the expectations that have been built up.
I came across Tom Ford and his fragrances at the beginning of my olfactory obsession rather by chance and was rather deterred by the huge price tag that goes with it.
Tobacco Oud, Oud Wood and Tobacco Vanilla were the most common candidates, but they kept coming back and being raved about over and over again.
Especially the TO was described very appealingly. Very masculine, a CEO fragrance, someone who makes decisions + the oud represented in the name in combination with tobacco ? Must be tested !

And what can I say, I'm kind of disappointed
First of all I like the scent and it is really nice, but unfortunately it is miles behind what I expected.
Tobacco oud smells to me like my youth
I had a buddy with whom I spent quite a lot of time and as luck would have it, his grandfather who lived next door had his own "party cellar" with all the trimmings.
A bulging filled Spitiruosen shelf, Edele cigars, a house bar + counter, a gambling machine and a dartboard. The interior beautiful with old dark wood and everything ruined by a much too oversized Shisha in the middle of the room
And that's roughly how TO smells to me, after this cellar, which is often overheated in winter
After some warmth. In the top note somehow a little bit of schnapps, like the bar into which over the years something has seeped out of the bottle or glass from time to time.
Only quite far away woody. Throughout somehow sweetish, resinous, creamy and reminiscent of old, not quite dry tobacco. More like shisha tobacco with a little bit of molasses poured over it.
A place where you could spend a lot of time and just decelerate.
Long relaxed evenings with the boys, simply a pub/men's club feeling.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------br />

All in all, Tobacco Oud doesn't come across as "extremely masculine" or "hard" to me
No alpha male who has to distinguish himself, no cool calculating tough CEO, no young hotspur.

TO does not want to be any of them. He is the well-to-do somewhat aging gentleman who spends his time in upscale bars. The guy who already has his flock on dry land and can now enjoy his old age without fear or existential anxiety.
The fragrance radiates something, no question about it.
But it is mMn far less polarizing than it is represented.
Also loud or blatantly obtrusive, I find it absolutely not, durability / projection and Sillage are in the good range, but if I compare it with a Black Phantom of Kilian who, with 1-2 splashes, projects all the pub visitors away from me to the door so that I have the room for myself alone, the TF TO falls by the wayside. So very well suited for everyday use in my eyes, only whether you want to smell like this in the office or in customer contact ... well.

A fragrance with a few rough edges that the Intense version smoothes out, but still knows how to please.
I had hoped for a "more blatant board" with the celebrity tobacco and oud title, but I am still convinced that it is worthwhile for almost every man to buy one.
Just to let your mind wander a little in the quiet hours with a glass, an open fire, a book or whatever you prefer to relax.

Love-hate and Geza Schön
So after the hype around Molecule 01, I started to read and test myself through some of his other works and it seems to me that you can feel only one of the two to his scents, especially to his Escentric Molecules project. Completely in love, or an abnormal dislike.
So far I'm more on the side of enthusiasm. My nose isn't particularly practised or super demanding, which may be its part, but its scents always feel non-conformist to me, even when they are apparently meant to be traditional, and I like that.

Escentric 02 is supposed to smell like Macbook and Almdudler according to the information here, but unfortunately I cannot confirm or deny both, because I :

1. Don't spend money on Apple products, spend it on perfumes

and

2.Almdudler once drank in my youth and found it incredibly disgusting

Electronic articles or plastic Vibes do not come up with me in any case.
I could understand the doodler comparison, because the fragrance has something "sparkling" all the time,
like when you drink a carbonated soft drink.
But if I could see this gin and tonic water note with a little berry that makes up the fragrance for me in general.
Beautifully fresh and "fruity", but no sweet organic fruitiness or gourmand dried fruit, rather a splash of freshly squeezed citrus fruit. Tendency to light bitterness rather than sweetness.
Dry gin + tonic water on freshly washed sheets, with a slightly woody bedstead.
No real fruits, only chemistry and synthetics round and smooth, nothing that polarizes.
But does that have to be bad? Not in my eyes, because the scent delivers.
Doesn't knock your socks off, but smells "different" and interesting for me.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------br />
Set citrus effervescent powder-carbonated detergent gintonic mix, relatively quiet and close to the skin.
"Cold" enough to be refreshing, "warm" enough to feel comfortable and relaxed with the fragrance.
No Sillage or Projection Monster, durability rather in the midfield on my skin.
Definitely give it a try. I like it and it's wearable everywhere without tickling, because it doesn't really smell boozy despite the "gin" note.

Cinema, kisses and cold snow
Salt Caramell was funnily enough one of my first fragrances, right after Sauvage and Dylan Blue.
I'm no longer sure how I came up with the brand and the scent, probably just some
JF-Youtube video. Anyway, I am very grateful for having discovered him
This fragrance is my fragrance for rainy days, for the uncomfortable cold weather, for the time when I put on a knitted sweater or a warm blanket and take out my granny's cuddly socks.

As many of the previous speakers have said, the fragrance is not particularly complex, you get exactly what the name promises, namely salt + caramel, and that is that the bars bend.
Sweet tooth and foodies should definitely keep their noses open !
Reminiscent of salty popcorn, cinema vestibules, dark halls, fairgrounds, roasted almonds and generally places that promise a good time.

It really always puts me in a comfortable and calm mood, but there is still a little heartbeat
Like on a first date, in winter. You meet the girl in front of the building it's cold, but inside your heart is pounding. It's almost boiling with joy and excitement.
Go inside, warm air and the familiar smell hits you. Sweet, salty, pleasant
You go to the counter in a suave way and order the tickets. She smiles as you turn around and ask if you would like to share the popcorn. You pay and grin from one ear to the other.
You enter the hall, have a shy and reserved conversation until the film begins.
Red velvet armchairs and curtains, dimmed light that suddenly goes out, then silence.
Her breath beside her. The film begins, naturally a romantic comedy
One laughs and slowly the hand moves to hers on the cushion, slowly, carefully, until the fingers intertwine. Their gaze meets that of the boy and they kiss each other.

You move closer together and sink into the armchairs together.
Salty tears on the canvas, sweet in the musty room.
Happy ending, credits

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Silage and shelf life are really good, the smell would be rather reserved in smaller rooms.
Can be annoying quickly, since the scent is quite "penetrating", so enjoy with caution.
Beautiful for cold days and cozy situations, or for any employees in cinemas, at the North Pole and fairs who want to embody the attitude to life of peace, joy and pancakes also fragrant.

Otherwise a lot of love to the label Shay&Blue for beautiful and affordable fragrances !
