Dark and mysterious yet fresh...
Carpathia goes on very dark with mysterious gothic night air feel. It's like you are on a horrifying mountain side carriage ride to Dracula's Castle.
It starts out very green and herbal, a almost petrichor type ozonic note, and the black tea makes it very unique. It's dark but in a night air fresh way.
As it settles down it's musky, herbal, and floral, with the tea note lingering in the background offering some depth.

Oriental OMS
This version of OMS offers the same old school macho bravado the original but with a darker oriental profile.
Out of all the OMS flakers this one is my favorite. In my opinion not as good as the original but very close.
Boasting dark notes of anamalic musk, spice, resins, woods, there is a subtle leather note, with some florals and a subtle fruity sweetness.
I wear this whenever I want but it's probably not the best for summer or the office.
This is not a crowd pleaser it is a formidable fragrance. Wear with confidence and it will not let you down.

Oud-stank
I am really into to this one. Even though it's is synthetic this is what a Oud should be. It's unabashedly masculine, dark, leathery, rough and tough yet smooth with some funky oud-stank.
I really enjoy the dark oud, rich leather, and musty patchouli drydown. The longevity is about 8 hours on my skin, which is fantastic. Scents do not last long on me typically. Projection is great, I catch whiffs of it all day. This is is so damn good I would say where it whenever the f#@k you want. Although conventional wisdom would say wear in the cooler months. If you're rocking this you probably don't give a rip what those "conventional wisdom" folks say anyway.
For around $20 you can't beat this.

Campfire in the woods
It took me some time to appreciate this scent. Definitely not for those looking for a crowd pleaser. This is a smoldering campfire in a bottle.
The opening is very sharp, pungent, and intense. Frankly the opening is a little rough and off-putting. After about 5 minutes it settles into a smoky, woody, slightly resenious scent with great longevity and projection.
This fragrance is really good for layering with other fragrances that you want to give some pop or depth to. Layering with this can also add some dimension to some of the more linier or boring frags in your collection.
This is a must for those that like bold and unique fragrances.

Dry down!
This one took awhile for me to warm up to it. When I first got it I immediately had buyers remorse. I didn't like it at all. After a few times trying it I realized how great the dry down is. Now it's one of my favorites.
The opening is very busy and hard to describe there is so much coming at you all at once. Floral notes, green notes, spice, sweetness, and leather. It's sensory overload.
But then.....after about 20-30 minutes it hits the mid and starts to really shine. The florals become a little softer, the sweetness becomes a little powdery, and the leather begins to come to the forefront.
The dry down is a smooth manly leather, accompanied by a subtle powder note, and just a hint of floral and musk.
I am glad I stuck with this one. It's such a great fragrance. Oddly enough the scent really does make me think of the color red for some reason.
