Not so lucky...
Extremely sweet/fruity opening. Heavy patchouli/lightly sweet drydown. I get a hint of something that's in the same ballpark as praline and I'm guessing that's the hazlenut. I don't get the grapefruit in the opening but I feel I get lightly into the drydown.

The transition from opening to drydown was a bit weird initially but I felt I got used to it as it went on. Don't get much of a connection with the original 1 million. See more similarities with black xs because of the sweet opening.

Lasts 9 hours on me. About 2 hours of projection. Moderate sillage. This fragrance is pleasant but uninspiring. The opening and the drydown don't go very well together if you ask me although both stages are pleasant enough.

I'm not sure why it's released at this time of year, going into summer. I wouldn't wear this in summer. I'd only wear this in spring in a cold country. This is a winter/autumn fragrance for me.

As a person who likes bang for my buck this isn't worth the money and is forgettable. Way better options out there. Also, try before you buy, you may be very disappointed.

An amazing scent but maybe too pricey for what you are getting currently
This is a review of the 17w01 batch. I bought a 50ml decant of this. 3 average sized sprays (one to the clothes, one to each side of the neck) gave me 10 hours. I would say it projected well (more than moderately and less than strongly) for anywhere from 2-4 hours.

The opening was a tart pineapple. It wasn't sweet. I got hints of the other top notes and I got the bergamot also. This phase lasted for about 20 minutes and then to a moderately smokey drydown. The tart pineapple was there, it was light. This lasted for about 4 hours.

The next 3 hours was a lighter more woody phase.

After this the scent conpletely transforms to a clean, creamy, musky, vanilla base. This lasts for about 2 and a half hours.

All and all a great linear scent and a fantastic olfactory experience. I enjoyed the transition to each phase. As much as I enjoyed it, I wouldn't pay €195 for 50 ml. I paid €70 for the decant and I'm delighted I did because it's a bargain at that price.

Strong Aventus-type perfume oil.
This is a review based on the oil. Has a lemoney opening and lacks pineapple in the top notes. I can really get the smokiness more when I dilute with perfumers alcohol and spray it. The drydown is more earthy, harsher, pungent than the Aventus I'm familiar with. Lasts over 12 hours with very good projection. A 6ml bottle costs a few euro so extremley good value for money!

Terre d'Hermès EDT clone without the orange
Got this for €10 reduced from €15 in the winter sales. Terre d'Hermès EDT clone without the orange in the Top Notes. A little spicier than d'Hermès to my nose. It lasts about 7 hours. Has moderate projection. Feels more like an EDT than an EDP to me! It's discontinued at the moment.

Cheap Aventus Clone
One of rare Aventus clones with a good Pineapple opening. Moderately smokey. Only lasts about 4 hours and has below average projection, with a generous 9 sprays. But at a few euros for a 100ml you can afford to top up throughout the day!
