While smelling the top notes and the beginning of the heart, the name Kerbside Violet seems very apt. I smell violet and also the smell of what you would expect a kerb on the street to smell like. Like crumbled stone or concrete. This phase could also be described as a rougher lush-ier version of the top & heart notes of G.I.R.L by Pharrell. After 45 or 60 minutes it transforms into a hay smell. I couldn't believe there's no hay in the fragrance notes but that's what I smell. I really see this as a hay fragrance, in good way! Like a hay bale at a farm, warm and slightly biological. I give the scent a 70% score. 60% for sillage, the longevity is acceptable.

This fragrance is basically Un Jardin en Méditerranée by Hermès, with a lot of lemon verbena in the beginning. For about 1,5 hours I get the super fresh and strong lemon verbena. Nice. Then I get the Méditerranée scent, until it's 4,5 hours on my skin. After that it evolves into more of a green musky scent. To me it smells like a Méditerranée-ish musk. In that phase it seems to have less sillage than its Hermès brother. It's also similar to Hedera by L'Erbolario. As a comparison I would summarize those three scents as follows:
- Méditerranée: best performance and also a pinch of pistachio
- Green x 4: might be for you if you love lemon verbena
- Hedera: leans more towards nice synthetic melon, and maybe some ivy
Green x 4 gets a 70% score from me.

My sample contains 'extrait de parfum', however the strength is either the same as EdP or at most 25% stronger.

My sample is similar to the other reviews. The opening is herbal and smells nice. I don't smell any obvious lavender, any lavender probably blends in with the herbal notes. The heart is a blend of cinnamon, florals, and a spicy note. If there's any moss, then it's manifested by the top and heart notes having some darkness added to them.

By the time you enter the dry down there's no moss to speak of. In the dry down I smell the same notes as the heart but weaker, probably made a little sweeter by a pinch of tonka bean. No clary sage. I get about 5 hours longevity, which is disappointing. F. Royale smells bitter and 'distinguished'.

This is a mediocre vetiver fragrance. Compared to the old vetiver by Rituals, this one is better. Bergamot and vetiver are the main notes. Because of that combination I put it in the same category as Guerlain's Vetiver. But this Rituals fragrance is weaker and it also doesn't have any tobacco/Guerlainesque notes, it's a simpler fragrance. It doesn't wow me or intrigue me, but it isn't bad either. I give it a few bonus points for the 100% natural ingredients.

Sculpture has an orange blossom and a tonka-amber phase. The orange blossom smell might also be described as 'orangey' made lighter with a little flower in the mix. After a while it transforms to a tonka smell with some benzoin/amber in the mix to make it sweeter and warmer. Both phases are very pleasing to almost everyone.

Strong points:
- Very pleasing! Good for social occasions.
- The orange blossom note is somewhat original.
- It's cheap. I've seen it as cheap as €15, but mostly it costs a bit more than €20.

Weak points:
- The scent may become boring after a while, especially the powdery tonka dry down.
- The sweet smell is not for everyone, though it's not Full 'Joop' candy store sweetness.
- Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche is much better (also a sweet powdery citrus).

On another fragrance site there's a guy who ends every conversation with "buy Sculpture". And he has a point: It's pretty darn good value for money.
