It starts with a blossom smell, apple blossom apparently, fortunately it's not very fruity. A while later one gets into the fresh floral heart. I don't get much jasmine but only the hyacinth. This hyacinth is fresher and breezier than normal hyacinth. Hyacinth can be quite dense but in this fragrance it's very fresh. After 1,5 or 2 hours on the skin, the vetiver joins in, as a supporting note. Because of the hyacinth-vetiver combination it reminds me of Chanel Cristalle (edp). But the Chanel has more substance, more jasmine and galbanum. Due to the freshness and lack of jasmine, the Chloé is unisex, leaning to the feminine side because it's still clearly a floral fragrance.

I get little sillage, the longevity is pretty good for a fresh fragrance. Test before buying, but it wouldn't surprise me if it lasts 6+ hours. The ingredients are up to scratch. It's worth trying.

Listed top notes are fruity but they don't seem prominent to me. After the initial blast I smell a fresh herbal musky blend. The musk is so fresh that I consider this an aquatic. After 1,5 hours the musk gets entirely aquatic. After that a thin synthetic sandalwood joins in. At least one actually smells a little sandalwood in this one, contrary to most cheapies. The dry down is basically inspired on Bvlgari Aqva, which is superior. Longevity unknown, decent sillage.

If you like affordable and fresh herbal musk blends, try Mexx Magnetic Man instead of this one. Esprit man is hmm-OK, certainly better than their 'Horizon'.

This fragrance does not belong to the darkest of rose scents, but it is medium dark. During the first 2½ hours it is an original combination of fresh rose and tobacco, at equal intensity. The pepper is soft, it only makes the rose a bit 'prickly'. After the first hour I detect a bit muskiness, it might be the ambrette.

From the 3rd to the 5th hour on my skin, it has turned into a disappointing rosy brown (tobacco like) smell, getting weaker until it disappears. Not a favourite of mine.

It starts with citrus, leather and peppery spices. In the heart the citrus fades, the spices subside and the leather takes the lead. There's some booze hidden in the heart, and I like how a little orange peel (bitter orange?) makes the leather a bit fresher. But those are very small notes. The dry down, starting after 45 minutes or so, consists almost entirely of spicy leather, for 8+ hours. The type of leather is neither 'black', nor the modern type of leather. But it reminds me of the older type of birch leathers. Red or brown in character.

This fragrance doesn't smell 'nice'. But I appreciate this assertive and energetic leather. Are you a man or a woman and feeling bold or confrontational? Try this.

I took a quick sniff of this one. It starts with a bright mandarin, combined with something creamy. Quickly the lotus takes the lead. It smells convincing and clean, reminding me of magnolia. After perhaps 15 minutes the heliotrope makes a nice appearance, to my nose it smelled like 'pink spices'. It does not smell like almond, syrup, cherry or anything sweet but rather pink/purple and a bit dry in a good way. There was a hint of creaminess underneath probably a little orris. After 30-40 minutes there's some soft, 'thin' but pleasant wood and a modest to small amount of benzoin, creating a relaxing dry down.

As I'm writing this 4 hours have elapsed since I put 1½ sprays on my wrist. It has become a skin scent with little sillage. I believe benzoin has good longevity so I'm optimistic that it(or with more sprays) will last for 8 h

Impression:Not sure if this will keep the wearer interested, but not a bad scent
