Smellavision

OK, let me start with a word of advice if you're planning on blind buying this stuff : I did it, because of the low Price. My first thought when trying it was "Wow, this smells exactly like something my older Brother would wear in the early 1980's!". Cedar, cedar, cedar with herbal hints of ginger. I couldn't stand it, way too old school, but forced myself to trying it several times and after five or six brawls I kinda got to like it. Very potent & powerful stuff, but actually I've grown quite fond of it, works especially nice on warmer days. Great projection and sillage, very good value for money on this.
Just wondering, am I the only one that gets hints of basil in this ?

A generic citrus-balsamic frag. Nothing Extreme here, only when it opens with a blast of sharp lemon. It soon turns into a summery citrus fragrance with a weak projection. I could see this worn by younger kids in high school, could maybe also be good for the gym for a clean smell. Sorry, this just isn't me. I'm glad I only have a very small bottle, will take me ages to use.

This is a fresh, powdery, sweet scent - so sweet I'd almost label it as unisex ?!? I really like the smell though, just a shame that the projection is absolutely terrible. Half an hour after spraying you only have a skin scent. Longevity is decent though, at first I thought it was equally terrible, but I've had mornings after wearing where I would wake up and could still smell it. Usually wear it on casual days at home or when I don't have any appointments scheduled. Overall : a nice sweet citrus aquatic smell with a horrible projection.

Brilliant! I have the vintage edition with silver label - a sweet soapy/powdery floral lavender explosion, which turns slightly peppery after some time. Great longevity and good projection. This must be the smell that has gotten me the most compliments, from men as well as women.

Very interesting, not sure I've come across other scents that remind me of this. Starts out with a blow of basil and sweet mint, which is replaced by a more peppery note within the first 15-20 minutes and after some time the vetiver kicks in and stays around with a woody note. A very fresh scent, but strangely doesn't come across as soapy. Very pleasant and versatile for use in spring and summer. Holds a decent longevity, though the sillage is not amazing, stays close to you. Highly recommendable :-)
