Creed also only boils with water
Well, what can I say about this alleged *luxury* perfume from Creed!?

First I must mention that I was very suspicious & skeptical of the house Creed. Because I have heard and read a lot of bad things about this house
Things like:
- Excessively overpriced
- Nothing special
- Poor performance
Etc.

And I'm sorry to say --->I agree with that

The Knight Rider of fragrances.
I would like and have to write a comment on one of the most beautiful fragrances my nose has ever smelled.

It starts with a freshness I have never seen before, directly after spraying. Yes, it takes getting used to. Aaaaber(!) To compare this prelude with, pardon, bad breath of an older man, as some people have described it here, is incomprehensible to me and in my opinion degrading
But quite quickly the freshness of the kick-off, which lasts about 15-20 minutes, disappears. From then on the good *Zino* gradually picks up speed and it slowly gets warmer and the rose and lily of the valley appear. From this point on I like it especially well, because when the rose and lily of the valley appear in the background, the soft, leathery vanilla seems to call out in the distance.
After the rose-lily-of-the-valley combination slowly fades away, the vanilla, which was previously far away, comes quite close, but keeps a respectful distance
Probably the patchouli & sandalwood seem to be responsible for this and thus keep the vanilla in check. Anything else would be "too much", it might push it too feminine and remind you too much of a gourmand fragrance. The amber and tonka bean make everything look cuddly, slightly creamy and warm. Slowly everything fades away and what remains is my nose, a soft leathery note and the beautiful, subtle vanilla

The durability is in my opinion very good and lasts for about 8 hours
Even the next morning Madame Smellow smells it still very good on my skin.
The Sillage is also more than good with a good 3 sprayers.
As an EdT, *Zino* has absolutely nothing to hide from an EdP. From him some fragrances, also some from the very high price segment, can cut themselves a big slice.

I would also like to add from how many years one can wear it, as many people seem to be unsure about it. I'm 87 years old and I think I could have worn it in my mid-20s. Sure, you shouldn't wear it with baggy jeans, hoodie & skater shoes (I liked to wear it myself at 14). It just doesn't fit together. So young men in their 20s, test it and please, please don't judge too fast and don't let the opening fool or deter you.
This applies by the way to all classic fragrances from the 80s & also 70s.

As you can see in my headline, I call him the Knight Rider among fragrances.
Who does not know him and still can not imagine how *Zino* smells.
-Imagine the 30 year old David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight in *Knight Rider*. How he sits in his black K.I.T.T., with black jeans, with black leather jacket over a black shirt
Sitting with the leather seats under his butt, he drives a lonely road in the North American steppe towards the sunset. That's *Zino* to me and that's how *Zino* smells to me
Suitable music for this: Snap - Exterminate (End Time 12" Mix) https://youtu.be/SHnsFu_KUe4

Conclusion:
He is sensual, seductive, cuddly, sexy, yes simply special. This warming scent he radiates, I have really rarely smelled. The perfect scent for the freezing cold winter
Btw. here was not the vintage version described.

Thanks for reading it

What the Fuck!?
Came to mind the first time I smelled him
It's supposed to be so great, the scent so hyped by many here.
I thought you knew him, I thought for almost an hour

Then it shot me in the head, it smells like a slightly modified copy of *Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme*.
But then I had to search my synapses again, because there was something still there, something that reminded me of yet another scent.
This time it did not take as long as the first one.
"Yeah, sure, of course," I said.
It's Fierce from Abercrombie & Fitch

So a mixed-up, without refinement, completely overpriced scent.
It is not bad, but with a price that is far...weeeeeit over 100 Euronen, I expect a scent that will blow my mind. A scent that is unique, a scent that I have never smelled anywhere before, a scent that makes me feel unique. A fragrance that makes me awake when I'm overtired, a fragrance that makes me fall asleep when I can't fall asleep. A fragrance to dream with
THIS is a fragrance for me, which is allowed to be so expensive!!!

But what's being sold here as Fucking Fabulous is fucking bullshit to me
If I want to wear a nice barbershop-fougere I use D&G pH for a 50s
If I want to wear a Fresh Shower Gel Vibe fragrance, I use *A&F Fierce*. Also for just over a 50 note.

What is finally offered here for this price is the lowest drawer
For me, it's nothing more than picking out two fragrances that sell well, get hyped, and finally mix them together.
It doesn't get any more unimaginative than that
Nah Mr. Ford, that's not how it works with us

Any perfumer who knows both of these fragrances will smell both of them IMMEDIATELY.
Also a small tip to the newcomers in our great community, test the two mentioned. You will thank me, your wallet too
Don't get ripped off, expensive is not always the same to smell *unique, luxurious & expansive*

So.... now I build myself a bunker to be protected from the stonehail :-D

Best regards,
Smellow

The unknown stepbrother
This great, but unknown fresh scent of the late 80s, is m.M. wrongly past the Great Mass.
Published in 1988 and yet it smells extremely modern. No one would ever notice that it is a fragrance from the 80s, would it be launched again today.

I see parallels, so hold on tight. Nightflight
Yes, exactly
Sure, they smell different, but from the way they are made and how they change, they are still in the same corner to places.
Yeah, I would describe Colors as an unidentified stepbrother

Like *Nightflight*, *Colors* starts with an extremely, almost pungent fresh lemon.
And from the dry down both of them change into a warm, almost creamy vibe.
*Nightflight* creates a warm, almost cuddly almond scent from the heart note onwards.
Whereas with *Colors* it's the coconut

With *Colors* it is like having a pot of coconut milk, with a sip of lemon juice, boiled up until only a thick, creamy cream remains.
For a fragrance of 88, this has a very modern aftertaste. In addition, it can be worn, as I think, also relatively well by the warm coconut cream, in winter & autumn.
So a real all-rounder.

But unfortunately this great scent, just like *Nightflight* and *Heaven*, which I would also put in the same corner, was unfortunately discontinued :-(
It's a mystery to me why such great fragrances are simply erased, and why you don't really have an evasion to a fragrance that lives out a similar style.
In my opinion, most freshies from 2010 onwards smell 70-80% very similar to each other.
Simply a scent that sold well is analysed, here and there something is changed and/or exchanged. And lo and behold, et voilà, a new fragrance experience.
But that's debatable and I'm not going out on a limb.

Conclusion:
If you like scents like Nightflight or Heaven, you should definitely take a look at Colors and test it. It is still available at humane prices in the bay, so it's best to buy it immediately.
A real insider tip! ;-)

Thanks for reading it

Darth Vader the Sweet
Actually, I'm not a particularly big fan of gourmand fragrances
Either they are too sweet for me and/or smell too strongly of vanilla, cocoa or coffee.
Are too penetrating, too intrusive etc.

But this bad boy is for me, the perfect gourmand scent
Vanilla? No trace, if at all only a minimal trace of it.
What I mainly perceive is the rough and dark tobacco, not some ordinary tobacco of a filter cigarette. A strong, scratchy Zware Shag tobacco as you use it for rolling your own.
Gently sweet lavender honey and the very ripe, slightly fruity pineapple.
Lily of the valley and co. unfortunately seem to go down very much. I can't smell them for the life of me
In spite of all this, he is extraordinarily well composed and coherent.

Although he is a sweet gourmand, in my opinion he is not a fragrance for the still somewhat younger men and certainly not for any semi-strong ones with fluff on their face.
No, I think the wearer should already have at least his 25-30 years on the hump and radiate a certain maturity.

The flacon, no question, cheap plastic wraps a glass container.
Many may find him ugly, but I think he's great, past and present
This dark, almost black bottle seems to me powerful, mysterious and above all one thing, BÖSE.
Like a dark knight in battle gear, Sauron from The Lord of the Rings, or even Darth Vader.

The biggest shortcoming is the spray head, where I have to press 3 times with other perfumes, it has to be pressed 6 times with him.

I must mention that I first smelled the fragrance on my uncle in 1994, at the age of 7 years, and I have fond memories of my childhood with him. See my blog.
(Thanks Uncle Axel)

Conclusion:
- The teenagers sit on the park bench, secretly smoke cigarettes, drink energy drinks and wear *OneMillion*.
- The adult guys smoke cigars, drink moonshine, play poker and wear *Animale Animale*.

'nuff said?!
