This is a big 80's floral oriental along the lines of Ungaro's Diva and Scherrer 2. Wear only if you dare! I happen to love this sort of fragrance, it's complex, confident and very well blended. You have to like your civet BTW, so if Bal a Versailles doesn't scare or repel, give this a try.
Koto is almost a cross between Yves Saint Laurent Y and Paco Rabanne Metal, in a legere version. Mossy, with a hint of the green florals that gives Metal its cool shine, it then becomes folded in glove leather. I can only find this in EDC and a stronger formulation would be highly coveted.
This smells so good I'm going to have to invent a cocktail to match. A mojito with pink grapefruit and a dash of rose syrup. My surprise purchase this year, fabulous.
Old School Chic
The softest, finest glove leather, tinged with slightly soapy iris and a waft of incense. A masterpiece in chic, understated perfumery, a Cecil Beaton photograph in a bottle.
After a startling beginning which reminds me of those fizzy cola bottle sweets, this becomes a soft, powdery chocolate rose. Very nice, but longevity is poor for this EDT.
