Smellsogood

This has a bit of everything going on. Take a large pot and mix in dried fruits, rum, coconut, caramel, honey, etc. In fact anything you can lay your hands on. What do you get? An olfactory mess? Quite the contrary! This is warm, elegant and sophisticated. In fact, I think it's to die for and Balenciaga should resurrect this wonder. Immediately.

Bright, white and almost painful (if you don't like a white floral that is!) The jasmine sings in this fragrance and I particularly love this during frosty weather, where it seems to work very well with the icy "bite" of the cold. The base has some woodiness to it which keeps it grounded and stops it flying away to much. Lovely.

Imagine a clear stream of water bubbling over large smooth black pebbles, with lush green banks on either side, the grass and herbs trailing in the water. Now bottle it, and voila you have Eau de Rochas. This is a staple spritz for hot weather or feeling under the weather. Refreshing, uplifting and totally great!

A beautiful, creamy , golden floral, that reminds me of Poeme by Lancome. Very feminine and lasts on the skin all day. The bottle is a tad weird though! Not sure what they were thinking there, as this is a very ladylike fragrance!

A masculine cologne, with a soft sueded feel to it. Discrete but lingering and soothing to the senses.

This has grown on me more and more, I tend to go for this when feeling a bit rubbish as it never feels too much. It just quietly and discretely smells good.
