Queen Rose
The queen of rose fragrances for me. Nahema is a true Guerlain masterpiece that is like deep rose coloured devore, moving between thick and velvety and at other times sheer as chiffon and then back again. Nahema's constant movement keeps your senses aware of her for hours and hours but is never tiresome. This is review is for the parfum.

Versatile Violet
A lovely light breezy violet top note that moves into smooth powdery heliotrope and white musk. It does smell how you would imagine, a light indigo cotton fabric should. Airy, clean and wearable with anything.

Very Moreish
This reminds me of Bitter orange drizzle cake. The sponge made with good quality butter, eggs and vanilla, dense and yummy. Then flavoured with a syrup of bitter Seville oranges, which prevents it from becoming sickly. Quite addictive and delicious.

Green Dream
I find this is incredibly similar to Balmain's original Vent Vert by Germaine Cellier in pure parfum.

The initial intense greenery slowly softening and becoming warmer and sunnier. Lovely in summer, as it conjures up gentle breezes and sunny wild flower meadows. Very pretty and very elegant.
This review is also for the parfum.

Winter Solstice
This is one big ole perfume. Dark fruits, woods, spices and honey. There is also the queer feeling of dry heat that you experience in a sauna. Oh! and candle wax, not scented candles, but big white church beeswax candles. This is a winter solstice perfume, everything outside is cold and dark, but inside you are warm, glowing and looking forward to Christmas. This review is for the original Balenciaga version not the Ted Lapidus btw.
