Raspberry balsamic vinegar with a fine wood note. In the drydown, the incense spreads, followed by a hint of vanilla... over the whole hovers a discreet oriental rose.... very unique fragrance that can't be compared to anything I have ever been able to sniff.... only Oud is not to be noticed there... for the price a gaaaanz "big one" in my eyes

with V&R SpiceBomb... but the more often I wear the good "Ernest", the bigger and finer the difference between the two becomes. Although I was already a fan of the "spice explosion" from Viktor & Rolf, I have to admit that the counterpart of HdP 1899 just looks more noble and natural. The orange blossom in combination with the cinnamon is simply to "kneel down"... great autumn/winter scent...

a friend of mine recently asked me, who in my eyes has a very fine sense of smell. But before I could tell him which scent it actually was, he already revised his statement. "Well, that's not JPG...., that's... hmmm... the scent is similar to "Le Male" but somehow finer and more exquisite... is this a flanker?!? With a smile I answered: "guess what?". Despite constant sniffing at me he didn't get it and finally gave up and wanted to know what it is. But since it's his birthday in a few days and I want to surprise him with "Refelction Man", the scent remains my secret until now..

Although I am a fan of leather scents and Rasasi, I can't get anything out of this one, even after trying it several times. I also can't understand the comparison to "Tuscan Leather", because the Tom Ford version m.M. is much rounder and finer than its "rough counterpart" from Dubai....
