Best Blind Buy
Right away - I am thrilled! A week I wait now blissfully and finally I hold the bottle in my hands. I have now heard so many opinions that I had of course already certain expectations.

The first thought at first smell was the similarity to Fève Délicieuse - which made me very happy, because that was on my wish list anyway. To help me then took a sample of exactly the fragrance mentioned to have on the other hand the direct comparison. I understand the thought to Grand Soir, rather less to Noir Extreme, but the general cuddly sweetness is common to all. Lemon and orange I perceive little to not at all, I have to try very hard, vllt even imagine. Sandalwood comes in later and makes my nose tingle. The vanilla remains omnipresent, but is the progression from sweet to spicy, which makes it especially later then decisively different from the praline counterpart.

Several times it was mentioned how truly unisex it was, the mere mention of which unsettled me. I thought that he might be a little more masculine, but I agree: He is so unisex, as unisex only be no - you do not even think about what gender the fragrance would be assigned, but you have a mood, a feeling, a personality in mind. And only in the second step you think "oh yes, that could also wear xy!"

I'm super excited to smell the scent on my husband - and that's the great thing, because our scent chemistry is so different, we ALWAYS have two scent experiences with one scent.

Vanilla Diorama summed up in one word? HERRLICH!

On silent soles
Actually, I just wanted to write a statement, but due to the only feedback under this fragrance so far, I want to leave some more love here!

I have tested all the fragrances of the brand for several days. Right from the start, I was excited about the special twists that are added to each central ingredient. First, I reached for Parisian Musc and Radical Rose, certain that I would like them - which I did. While I like Bois d'ébène and Encens Suave just as insanely, not on me, but sniffing the vial or my husband. So when I tried to pick a favorite for myself, after a moment's thought my husband said "Santal Austral", which at first made me let out a "waaaas?" drifting into high glissando. I like sandalwood - but it irritated me. His answer (he has a good nose, let me tell you): "This one has something special, it suits you better! So I paid more attention to it, thought about it, and sure enough, I can't think of any that smells like it either. And that's probably why I was first drawn to the scents that gave me instant memories, while this one waited quietly and patiently for me.

About the scent: of all the scents from the brand, this one is the quietest on my skin. The sandalwood takes center stage, sitting by the fireplace with a book from start to finish. The almond milk and tonka bean bring sweetness for the cool season. The iris brings in a delicate contrast, a smile. The benzoin gives a nice base. In the course, everything is perceptible, and I can't incorporate which season specifically makes it bloom - because due to the restraint, it always goes. The wearer decides then with his/her/its preferences; however, potential is given around the year.

This fragrance will soon enter my collection. When I sniff it, I feel at home, a smile flits across my face

Quiet voice
With all the hype, I was of course insanely curious and ordered a bottling. Already at the first testing I thought "ok, quiet, as advertised, yes, ok!", but on repeated wear I like him more and more.

Minuit et Demi is a mix of By the Fireplace and Baccarat Rouge, just with less sweet, soft voice. The durability is still very good with me - especially when I test several fragrances on my arm, this one lasts the longest. Briefly, I actually considered whether the scent would move in with me, because so far I've only tested Santal Complet and Brume du Matin from the brand (and I just don't understand the hype). Meaning, especially when compared to the other two perfumes, I'm very much in love. But basically, it's a mix of fragrances that I can layer together at home. The beautiful bottles I wanted too much to move in with me, but for the price definitely not.

I can understand the disappointment if you expected more, but if you don't have your own perfume house to run wild in, but it's just a collaboration, then I would probably design a fragrance that is a safe bet for me personally. Caramel and coffee come out very strong for me. A unisex gourmand that I like a lot.

A hug
Almost two years ago, I personally met the founder Pauline Rochas, granddaughter of fashion designer Marcel Rochas. A beautiful French woman with a wonderful taste and sense of aesthetics. Her collection of 7 fragrances is based on the 7 chakras, with No1 representing the root chakra. Every detail is well thought out, including the 7 scents. From the first sniff, No1 had me - warm, grounded, embracing! The scent is now by my bedside, because for me it is not a classic perfume, but much more intimacy. How do I feel, what do I need - and so if necessary I reach for this fragrance when I'm restless. I don't like all the scents in the collection, but the whole concept is wonderfully conceived. I like to encourage you to perceive the fragrances differently, to let your head rest for a moment and, in addition to your personal taste (because I don't usually wear strong orientals too often), to simply let your gut do the talking. This applies to the whole line (you might be surprised how much it suits which fragrance suits you, because that's how the respective chakra speaks!). Not to let this end spiritually: The 7 Collection is an invitation to perceive scents in general differently.

If jmd would like to see some more words and especially photos, I'm happy to attach a link from me: https://nicolerhoslynn.com/blog/pauline-rochas

How even a novel rewards patience
For a long, long time I have been lurking around this fragrance. The bottle is so beautiful, but the many negative voices to the disturbing chamomile have made me hesitate. Then I was able to get hold of a miniature, I waited patiently and both with me and my partner hit the controversial fragrance immediately-sodass also the bottle was allowed to move in!

The opening is green, herbaceous, yes, but in a very interesting way that I find surprisingly not annoying. This may be due to the vanilla, which adds a warmth that I like to be patient with. I don't have to wait long before the chamomile is barely perceptible - the musk with the wood - vanilla mix surrounds me like a walk on a balmy spring/summer evening. A certain creaminess makes you think of high-quality (sun)cream (never never never forget SPF!), which even gives a certain shot of holiday feelings. But not in the sentimental wanderlust sense, rather: I have done my day's work and enjoy the season!

A quiet fragrance that can both create memories as a special feature, as well as elegantly underlines the everyday life to weigh in memories that could have been taken sketchily from novels: It takes time to be able to absorb this fragrance in its entirety!
