O Flowers Bomb
I had the scent for a while in the souk and now I suddenly love it again. At the beginning of November I was suddenly overcome by the desire for this sunny scent.
About 2-3 years ago I had ordered a gift set and worn it from time to time. Then suddenly I couldn't take him well anymore. He hit me on the stomach. May have been related to my gall surgery.
Admittedly, he's already intense. I smell a popcorn note to the orange blossoms on rose honey with ylang ylang. The scent is not only intense, it also lasts for days in clothes and scarves. For people who like it tender and elf-like fragrant, it is nothing.
Now that it's getting colder again, the perfume can be a little stronger for me. So I've been going back to Le Parfum Intense for over a week now. The normal version never made it into my collection, even though it was recommended to me by a perfume seller as matching my type. The scent was too mainstream for me at the time. Meanwhile one can already say that the Elie Saab fragrance has become a classic. They are listed here as twin fragrances, but I like the Intense version better.
It is heavy, sweet and smells very strongly of orange blossoms. The color of the fragrance matches a dark brown, similar to a perfume oil or concentrate. Of course nothing is oily here, nor does it smell oily, but honey sweet and floral.
Probably the fragrance will disappear at the end of March at the latest back in the cupboard, but over December I change it regularly with Hypnotic Poison. One to three splashes are enough for one day. It's not a maneater scent, but it does have charm and sex appeal to the right woman. She shouldn't be a mouse, then the scent would probably be too dominant.
Also on the skin it holds day and night.

Countless times
i've seen this scent standing in strange bathrooms, with mothers of friends and grandmothers. Often it was the glass flacon with the pigeons on the lid, but I also remember faceted flacons.
My girlfriends and I didn't like using it. Too old-fashioned and too old-fashioned, he seemed to us. Back in those days, ages ago, Impulse deodorant was our best seller. We dieselled ourselves in from top to bottom with it. Several times a day and paved the way for LVeB. The changing rooms of the schools are still contaminated with deodorant residues.
L'Air du Temps, on the other hand, always seemed uninteresting to us. Too green, too much chypre, bitter, buzzing through my head.
Yesterday was a very hot day. A latecomer in the summer of the century and I was on my way to buy a little something and my husband the beloved Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. In the shelf of the shop stood then also this white flacon, a tester.
Even though the price of the bottle has certainly deteriorated, i.e. for the buyer, I really liked it. This plain white can, almost like the Impulse Deos... no, I didn't think of that. Really, I do.
I sprayed it on and found it very beautiful, flowery, fresh, really a white fragrance, only slightly bitter and not too bitter or strict. Not penetrating by white bloomers alone, but also nice and soft and spicy-sweet. Ylang Ylang I smell out and the carnation, whereby here not only the carnation, but also the clove smells. The fragrance is delicate powdery and quite neutral, almost cool. I sprayed 6 times, because it seemed so refreshing at the high temperature.
And I wasn't looked at stupidly at the cash register and the baker afterwards. The fragrance changed as it became softer and softer. A light powdery touch. I thought if it was so refreshing for me, then it would be something for the summer holiday and even the white, small, robust bottle could not get out of my head. No, I didn't have anything in mind for this summer
So I went out at night and bought the scent. He's barely in town anymore. A mistake, I mean.
He's an excellent match for the spirit of the times. For some time now I have been observing a return to old values, an awareness of old values. Apparently some people are afraid of losing their culture because many different cultures mix, but one culture is in your heart and only you can pass it on to others and live it. If she's good, she'll win through. What is good is always accepted by others.
And that explains the long success of L'Air du Temps. What's good, prevails. Delicate, calm, light, floating, like two white pigeons whispering in the air.
The white dove is not only a sign of peace but also a symbol of wisdom. And that's going to prevail too.
So I'm looking forward to the summer holiday 2018 with the white can in my luggage. that's how it can go.

Peony
It's got what it says in it, too. The perfume has a slightly detergent scent of whiting rose, violet leaf and white musk. I guess it's white peony because detergent's white. In itself, the peony is very concise and clearly to smell.
The scent is bright, flowery-aquatic, beautiful for higher temperatures like now in late spring. He's not annoying, you feel fresh.

I have basically nothing against Avon fragrances and do not mean that they produce poor quality. Probably they haven't had a big litter in the last years, but that doesn't mean that everything is bad, as I often have to hear.
I bought this fragrance once because I like blind buying and the price on Ebay is not too high. It's not so bad to bury something in the sand. But it was a nice surprise and I have and still like the scent.
For about 1.5 years I have preferred lighter, fresher and lighter fragrances and this one is now just right for me. The Sillage is quite strong and the shelf life is about 5-6 hours. But it doesn't matter to take the bottle with you. Other manufacturers sell similar waters for 10 times as much money. Okay, they also collect the real scent molecules by hand under scent bells from the tree, as the Jo Malone saleswoman at the Dougi in Mannheim once told me. Greetings to her at this point...
I was laughing like that.
The bottle is not a beauty, but the fragrance is a spring-like evergreen. I guess I'll wear it to work tomorrow.

Highly acclaimed...
Next to Tihota, this vanilla seems to me to be the "poster vanilla" of perfumes. She is much praised and often mentioned.
Today I thought I could wear the summer vanilla again. It's from the American holiday paradise, St. Barth.
Okay, I added some more after 10 minutes, because she seemed a little too weak for my work. And this in the early morning, when my nose is still more sensitive to the scent.
The consistency here is very oily, that of a perfume/almost perfume oil and you have to be careful not to spray on clothing to avoid grease stains.
So off you go on the skin, the décolleté, the navel and the inside of the forearms. I omitted the hair better because of the oily consistency.
Yes, the vanilla is pleasant at first, but nothing special either. More like an industrial candy vanilla. Today it seemed to me that there is a slightly aquatic note (the orchid?), which subliminally annoys me in the long run, but also brings in summeriness.
In my opinion, vanilla could be more expressive, more genuine and deeper. When I work on real vanilla beans, I always smell a really great, animal note. This note is completely missing here, so that I feel the vanilla as very synthetic. It's more like vanillin than vanilla, but I don't want to be that hard. The fragrance is already recommendable, depending on what you are looking for. This vanilla is perhaps more suitable for the winter and Christmas market or for layering, so that it becomes more multi-layered. Also the slightly caramel of the base - sweets. However, the light, slightly aquatic tones do not go well with this. So for me not quite right.
I sprayed on before work this morning and there is still fine vanilla blowing around my nose. But not very strong, but rather delicate. But I don't like spraying anymore. I'm going to give you something smoky about it. I have not been approached at work, which happens before. I feel it's very close.

I don't know if the fragrance has already been reformulated, at least I noticed a price increase some time ago. Probably also due to the high demand. About 3 years ago, before I bought my bottle, I had a bottling that was a little smokier and blessed with a vintage touch. I didn't find them in the bottle again.
I have not yet found a really good, genuine, animal and therefore interesting vanilla in perfume form. Who knows something, please write under the comment. :-)

Oh yes, I don't even know Tihota, so I can't even make a comparison. But we're not supposed to.

Orange blossoms/violets/vanilla powder
I was happy to get this scent for little money.
After work, I sometimes go to dm and browse a bit. I'm sure you do. Apart from the fact that I would like to tint my hair turquoise, I wanted to test a fragrance of the Spirit series today. A colleague recently pulled a fine scent flag behind her and she said it was one of a kind.

The Cashmere Musk is known to me so far. I did, and I didn't have to test it. The rest I had sniffed at some point, but dismissed as lapidary.
First I sprayed this one on and I really liked the scent today. Light flowery, sweet, tender powdery on white clean vanilla musk. And that's how he stays. The perfume is described on the package as Floriental Powdery and so it is. Fewer notes are listed on the packaging. Only violets, orange blossom, a hint of pineapple and vanilla. It's been on my skin for four hours now and it still smells good. Today it is quite warm and humid and yet the scent fits. I did not find the scent that my colleague was looking for today, but I did find the Violet Kiss. Violets in combination with roses do not smell at all, rather a mixture of orange blossom and violets. I like this one very much, it is neither dry nor cool, but tender and unobtrusive, violet as colour fits perfectly. The fragrance is well suited for work. I'm sure he doesn't bother me and that's important to me. I like these kind of scents.

I didn't find the other fragrances in the series so great, but this one stands out a bit.
