"...very fresh...not so unpleasant at all"
I'll put my friend's statement first. It's just a cologne.
Starting from the fragrance pyramid I had expected a bit more nature. The fragrance is very surprisingly cold and fresh, I had a winter forest in mind. However, I only tested on one paper strip.
The base then becomes sweetish citrus-fresh green, rather synthetic and flat, of patchouli and incense unfortunately no trace. My paper still smells like this one day later, so the durability seems quite good.

Heliotrope blossoms on musk bed
After spraying on, one immediately recognizes the bitter almond, then something like an aqueous extract of almonds or almond milk and something slightly bitter appears to me. This makes this fragrance interesting and authentic. Quite quickly something flowery comes through, too, but I don't recognize Jasmin or Ylang-Ylang individually and suppose there is synthetics in the game.
at this stage he's probably the one who's most likely to create vintage associations.
In the further course the bitter almond remains next to a strong vanilla-floral accord which comes quite close to the scent of heliotropic flowers. This is somehow beautiful and sometimes something other than vanilla baking aroma, which I do not find here again. The fragrance then becomes more and more powdery, this musk powderiness certainly also provides for 'old-fashioned' thoughts again. On the other hand this is now quite modern again, see e.g. Narciso Poudree.
After I generously dieselled myself with Héliotrope Blanc last night and went to sleep, I suddenly smelled Hypnotic Poison this morning. Definitely!
So, compared to Mandorla, which I also have in my collection, this one is quite changeable and also sweeter, more feminine, more perfumed. Mandorla has no fragrance at all.
Also the heliotrope of Etro smells different, as far as I remember it, it was more obtrusive and had something of a sweet but poisonous drug. H.B. is simply milder and muffled by the musk.

stop thinking just live
Because of such Soliflors above all it pulled me a few weeks ago into the business in the Kantstraße. For such a jasmine firecracker - if to be found at all - one pays somewhere else (e.g. desire of Lush) clearly more. Some days afterwards I am surrounded by a jasmine fragrance veil in full boiling. And with someone who also stops - real jasmine oil is great, but unfortunately only lasts about ten minutes... This one is a very accurate replica of the jasmine scent (maybe there's even something real in it, who knows). According to INCI stickers, the usual ingredients of essential oils to be named for allergy sufferers are contained, the odour-determining substances of jasmine oil (Jasmonate), can be synthesized, but are not allergenic, therefore one does not need to search on INCI lists for it. The perfumer's secret should also remain the perfumer's secret, the main thing is that it smells like jasmine.
And it's the same with me. This makes me feel immediately decelerated and also like an oriental diva. It stops anxiety and too much negative thinking.
Sprayed on paper, clothing or into clean hair, this jasmine even brings a certain freshness with it, on warm skin on the other hand it goes rather in the spicy direction and probably has something that some people perceive as animal fecal. I don't feel that way myself, I just have to think about the plant and holidays and warm nights in the south.
After the purchase I couldn't wait and so I already missed two sprayers in my hair in the subway. All the people smiled friendly - passed 1st test run.

a sauber
I bought it based on the top note. You're not supposed to. It was so beautifully citric-fresh-transparent on the glass stopper. Tested at home later on, I was disappointed, I don't like these detergent-clean fragrances and that's the way it goes for me: Already after a minute I have to think about disinfectants and these cosmetic products, which smell like cucumber water, or the synthetic aquatics which were modern 20 years ago. Or freshly washed white shirts. This has nothing to do with Neroli for me, it is not in it, or unrecognizable in the mixture or in a synthetic variant, which I cannot identify as Neroli. The natural Neroliduft looks rather cool and fresh-clean and absolutely unsweet, so that fits thematically somehow...
So just something for cleaners or to simulate the shower on a desert trip.

The Master Lieder
When I smelled the bottle stopper in the shop, I stood next to a flowering lilac bush - it had to be with!
At home and on the skin tested still green and (less) creamy and powdery nuances revealed themselves. (Musk?) But the fragrance becomes fresher and greener in the course of time. It won't be sweet at all.
I find it very successful, more interesting and 'unisexer' than the lilac scent of Yves Rocher.
