Of course, I am also someone who is influenced by YouTube and co, which is why you can not get around certain houses. Some time ago I saw videos of Aquaman (Mr. Birkholz) and his brand, partly on his own channel and partly on other channels where Birkholz was introduced and or Aquaman had a guest appearance. Well, I was made curious and wanted to test Birkholz gladly times. When I then recently found a good offer from Berlin Soul, I thought to myself what the heck and got me a bottle right away (you do not treat yourself to anything else).

Well, then we come to the fragrance.

The comparisons to BA I can only partly understand. Yes.....some notes are somewhat similar, but only in the drydown. Opening is very different, later follow a few parallels.
If both are tested in a direct comparison (left hand, right hand), then one notices quite clearly the differences between the two. Both have their own charm / appeal, which means in reverse for me that Berlin Soul definitely has its raison d'être and is therefore also independent enough (for me at least).
In the opening comes to me a slightly smoky, boozy hazelnut. In the further course join also still fine tobacco and woods. Likewise, I perceive a subtle spice and a certain slightly tart / masculine note.

My conclusion:

Quite a pleasant and well-made fragrance. Considering the price for 100 ml, I find it absolutely acceptable. Even the bottle is as I find high quality, moreover, most of the handwork is at Birkholz. Certainly the Lord of the Seas does not have to hide. Since I liked the 1ste very well, I am now motivated to test more of the brand and am curious what is still hidden so everything in the rough sea.

Apparently, the man with the trident is a very likeable guy with an authentic brand. Let's see what comes there still so.
Testing mMn always worth it, you never know when and where you find his personal Graal.

So I ordered this fragrance blind and even if I advise everyone against it has it somehow a certain charm, the unknown, mysterious and mysterious simply.
The packaging itself is nothing special, normal cardboard just. The bottle, however, I like very well, looks chic and the plaque with the ingredients makes a how I find good overall picture.

To the fragrance:

When I sprayed it on the first time, I did not quite know what to think of it. Prelude of a minimal freshness, then for me slightly Balsamisch, spicy and a little sweet. I also feel a certain elegance when I wear it. Honestly, I would have thought the leather note stronger to be able to perceive, but that is not so. Leather I feel only very subtly. A very strong fragrance at the beginning really neatly projected and the first 2-4h really very well perceived by my peers, partly even too strong is perceived. After about 5-6h I still feel a light spice paired with a pleasant sweetness. What should I think of it now??
I must admit I was initially not particularly enthusiastic and thought it was a bad buy, but somehow he liked me from time to time better and better. Meanwhile, I like him even very well and I'm glad to have him.
Therefore, the big question, Yes, No, Maybe.
For me definitely yes, for some others certainly no or just an uncertain maybe.
Certainly not a fragrance for everyone, but if you give it time then it could certainly please some out there very well.
Clearly a statement fragrance with good H+S which reflects elegance and value, but unfortunately certainly not everyone is well received and sometimes not too pleasing.

From me there is nevertheless a clear recommendation for everyone who does not always want to swim with the flow. A test he is worth it all the time.

First I would like to say that I am not one of those who manage to describe a fragrance like a novel and go into every little detail. Merely my story, my experience, my point of view.
This is now my second Xerjoff I own and I must admit that it will certainly not be the last. In principle, this house creates in my opinion very high-quality, independent and sensual fragrances
With Alexandria II it is no different.

The packaging is top and you get a very nice "leather" box. From a certain price, the bottle should also be qualitatively packaged, just belongs to it if you ask me. The bottle is typical for this house very chic, elegant, stable and looks high quality. Here fits the whole drum around just perfect and you have when unpacking already the feeling here something special in the hands to hold.

But now to the actual fragrance:
This as I find slightly woody, fruity prelude I really like. The specified cinnamon note I personally take only very lightly. After a few minutes, I am enveloped and caressed by a soothing and gentle warmth. Also the oud contained in it I perceive well and for me it is in no way penetrating or disturbing, but harmonizes very well with rose, vanilla and amber. This resinous-sweet that I perceive fits quite well and fills me and my sense of smell with goodwill. It is very intense and smells just Krass. So in about I perceive this fragrance. Also, the durability is really class with me and keeps aufjedenfall several hours. Personally, I smell him 6-8h intense and up to 12-16h close to the skin, what you can expect at a slightly higher price quite. Sillage is of course also excellent, with up to 3-4 sprays Alexandria II takes the whole room and is up to 2-5m distance really very well perceptible by my fellow men.
All in all, I am really very pleased and glad to have it in my collection. It is really excellent craftsmanship, very high quality and a fragrance on a high Qualitativem level.
Will now test some other Xerjoff and I'm curious whether they also so blow me away as this one. Certainly I could rave on forever how well I like Alexandria II, but I think that it is enough for now
I can only everyone who has not yet tried this fragrance to the heart to give him a chance and to test, I'm sure he will like a lot of testers.
I can also understand if the price on the one or the other or on the one or the other deterrent, but I think it's really worth it for this "masterpiece" to take a little more money in hand, because you get a lot of perfume for a lot of money

Hello, first I would like to mention that this is my 1st review of a fragrance, which is why I would like to ask me not to take too much in the mangle ;)
I've been hanging around on Parfumo for a while, but I've never actually given my two cents worth until now. Anyway, to the fragrance:

So first I must say that the Layton was my first niche fragrance I have ever smelled. I just thought to myself, "Well, you hear a lot of good things about it, it's supposed to be very popular and often meet people's tastes". Well, after much deliberation (vlt so 10min :) ) I ordered the fragrance, mind you "blind". I sprayed him on me and thought with only........ oh God, the I do not like so really, very sweet and at first smell very Feminin. But then...... suddenly came this pleasant peppery note to the appearance, which I again liked very much. With time I smelled not only the sweetness, but also this very fine and in my opinion noble spice, which also harmonizes well with the vanilla. I must confess that I like scents with vanilla very much. After about 2-3h I was thrilled by this fragrance, it smells very high quality and pleasant for me, I can not get enough of it. For me, this was a wonderful entry into the niche, so I am now open to new and venture into the realms of high-quality fragrance and dream world.

My description may not be the best or most detailed, however, I have expressed my opinion and experience as best as possible, at least for a first review. There will certainly be more to come on other fragrances that trigger either euphoria or nausea.
