The green Mediterranean coast
You are driving along an Italian or Spanish coast, get out of the car, a salty sea breeze whistles around your ears and you are surrounded by citrus and green bushes. This is how you can imagine the Blu Mediterraneo - Bergamot di Calabria.

The note of bergamot is fully in the foreground here. Unfortunately I cannot smell the ginger. The cedar wood and the musk in the background ensure that the fragrance is not aggressively fresh, but rather warm and restrained. Nevertheless, it is by no means a heavy scent that can only be worn in winter, quite the contrary! Due to the mentioned citric bergamot note, which clearly predominates here, it is a fragrance that is so appropriate for summer.

The performance could be better. The durability is really very manageable. After about an hour you only have something if you hold the olfactory bulb directly on the sprayed skin, too bad. Also the Sillage is more bad than right. In the beginning I thought wow, but that subsides very quickly.

Sun cream to spray (without UV protection)
From Acqua di Parma I only knew the oud, but it was a bit too pungent in my nose. Now I am looking for a summery scent, of which I simply have too few in my collection.

The notes looked masculine and summery to me, so I ordered a sample of them.
Right after spraying it on, I thought to myself, sunscreen! The citric notes in combination with the lily of the valley and the rose probably result in exactly this citric-floral scent that I know from sun cream.

Of course, one associates the scent of sunscreen with summer, since it is mostly used in summer when you lie on the beach in the sun.

In itself a pleasant fragrance that men and women can wear in summer. Tendally I see it rather with men because of the very discreet amber note, but a self-confident woman will definitely get away with it ;)! The durability is quite good for a fresh scent and it projects quite okay in a medium distance, of course it's not a room filler, but it's not an intimate projection either, just something in between.

The older, wealthy lady
My perfume-loving buddy brought me some samples one evening, including Baccarat Rouge 540, and the first impression was good. Sort of cherryy, fruity, but with a serious undertone. Very interesting! I have never smelled anything like this before, so it is a very special and unique scent.

The fruitiness comes from saffron and jasmine, the serious undertone comes from cedar wood and musk. On my skin the scent hasn't changed at all. It just got a little less fresh, if that makes sense.

I can only say WOW about the performance. From the same house I had already tried the Satin Mood, which was a bit too rosy for me, but it also had a bombastic performance. So did the Baccarat Rouge 540, even with a shower it was still smelling the next morning.

A fantastic fragrance that not everyone will love, but you certainly can't hate it either

Great, complex, woody-sweet scent
When I was allowed to greet a good friend after a long time, I noticed that he smelled really wonderful. When asked what scent he would wear, he told me he was wearing Penhaligon's Halfeti. I already knew the brand from the Juniper Sling, which goes in a different direction, but is also a unique scent.

It was a sweetish scent that rose into my nose on a wooden plank and more and more interesting notes were added. An extraordinary fragrance composition, which is really incredibly complex. From fruity notes to floral notes to woods, just WOW!

After he told me that he had applied two splashes two hours ago, I was blown away by how strongly he projects and what a fantastic performance he has. Even at the end of the day, after many hours he was still perceptible in the air.

For those who find oud too animalistic and strong, this fragrance is a great way to wear oud, which is wonderfully masked by many other notes. Great scent, recommendation goes out!

Cheap, wild, oudig.
Recently a buddy of mine was with me and brought me a new oud scent, because he knows about my weakness for woody-sweet scents.

Right after I sprayed it on, I was positively surprised. A certain spiciness in combination with a soft oud and other wood notes pulled the corners of my mouth upwards.
Really very pleasant and a great beginner's sound, similar to the Tom Fords Oud Wood, only a bit less complex and a bit animalistic-wilder.

When I then heard that the fragrance for 100ml only costs just under 30€, I was once again really overwhelmed by how little money you can have really great and unique fragrances for!

A real insider tip for every gentle oud lover!
