What can I say, where do I start...?

The year is 2010 Anno Domini. I must have been 22 years young, freshly in love and still full of juice. I discovered this sweetly beautiful fragrance in a perfumery I trusted. I was thrilled and very taken with this great fragrance, back then.

My girlfriend at the time liked the fragrance very much.... as did all the other ladies. It was a real chick magnet. It brought compliments and just a good feeling.

I can't tell you what aversion I developed to this fragrance.... Not because the scent reminds me of an ex, no, it's just satiating-rags. Every other guy and every guy in the shisha bar wears this scent from PR. It's actually a shame what they've done with this fragrance. Yes it's good and it still gets you compliments but at what cost? That you smell like every X-rated guy out there. No, not with me

The same thing is happening to Sauvage right now unfortunately and that's sad when talent like that is wasted.

One Million has mutated into 0815 and is nothing special and has no character anymore. That and the fact that the scent is just too sweet for me made me forget about this fragrance.

Who is looking for a real classic, comes in my eyes not to this fragrance of Chanel past. This perfume is bursting with animal power and masculinity. Certainly, this fragrance does not make a little boy a grown man. It has to fit the wearer. Antaeus has that "old school" vibe I was looking for and love so much. It has something fresh, it has something earthy-woody but most of all it has the animalic-wild component that I like in fragrances like Aramis. I also admit that the base note with castoreum has triggered me to buy this scent.

My curiosity was rewarded for me anyway!

It's not a fragrance for soft-spoken wimps, as harsh as that sounds but here the combo of wearer and perfume has to fit. He will not shower you with compliments and you will scare people with it but so it must be, with such a fragrance with rough edges.

With time, he lets a little and becomes more velvety and those who are then still at your side are your true friends... or just smell blind ;) Joking aside, a how I find excellent fragrance for a good price.

Fancy a night in Cuba's capital? But it's not one of those nice hot summer nights I'm talking about, it's more like nights in autumn, maybe in golden October.

It always makes me think of Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea." That primal quality is in Carven's La Havane. Angular and with an edge, this fragrance shows teeth. It's not for the faint of heart or the young at heart. This fragrance is for self-confident men, men who know what they want.

The fruity mandarin I must confess honestly, I take only casually was, almost just a touch. For that, the tobacco, leather and patchouli pop too much and dominate this fragrance. Spicy-smoky? Yes! Oriental... conditionally. The fragrance exudes power and longevity but is also limited. I find that a pity and is a small scratch on this otherwise great fragrance.

The H+S is excellent and the fragrance special and not umbedingt a compliment catcher but that does not bother me. Now in this cold day the fragrance does me a disservice.

According to Greek mythology, Eros arose from chaos and is therefore a primordial deity. It's a crazy idea that the god of love and bending arises from chaos. The other version is no less fantastic. According to this, Eros is the son of the deities Aphrodite and Ares. The goddess of beauty and the god of war. So much for the mythological background

But if you now look at the scent of Versace, you can see certain parallels. Eros is a seductively sweet scent that has only one goal. It wants to capture you and the people around you and cast a spell on you. So the beautiful and erotic of Aphrodite, as well as the engaging and dominating of Ares

In my opinion, the fruity fresh start remains a constant companion throughout the day and is at the same time supported by sweet aromas and leads to the fact that one (woman) has to perceive this scent. The sillage and shelf life are great in my eyes and I really take this scent 5 km against the wind. The earthy-woody plays only a small role here, but gives the whole a round and perfectly balanced picture.

Despite the "old-school" vibes, the fragrance is one of my favorite scents and is worth its money. I mean the P/L is great and belongs in my humble opinion in every collection.

HUGO's Reversed is a great and pleasant fragrance for the day. A day when you wake up in your hotel room in the morning, the sun is shining and you jump into the pool. Afterwards, you let the weights and dumbbells in the gym and after a shower you apply this scent.

For me just a classic fragrance for GYM. Fresh citric with woody nuances in the finish. It radiates power and that you actively shape your life. It is a "doer" fragrance. I would also go so far as to give the fragrance an aquatic touch. On hot summer days an absolute recommendation and very suitable. It is sometimes inconspicuous and unobtrusive but the big show is not necessary. The S+H are therefore, as expected, weaker and lose strength during the day.

But I also think that you don't make a mistake with this perfume, especially since it's quite cheap to get and the fragrance does a solid job on the ground. For me it belongs to my GYM-Essentials.
