Man in Black
The new edition of JPG Le Male is indeed a revelation. Le Male is already an integral part of the perfume world, but Le Parfum makes it equal to him.

A perfectly balanced fragrance with the familiar DNA scent and then kicks the sweetness of vanilla. The spiciness gives the fragrance the classic touch but in combination with the vanilla is simply unbeatable. Le Parfum gives me compliments on the assembly line and is really not hyped for nothing.

The durability and also the silage are extremely good and perform outstandingly. I find it an absolute enrichment and absolutely worth its money.

Get away from me...
...I should've told the salesgirl at the Douglas when she recommended and sold me this "scent." I hope she had sleepless nights after that. I understand now that the salesmen in these shops get a certain commission on certain brands but to sell me such a crap almost borders on bodily harm.

With a good conscience and in my naivety I bought the fragrance and yes, it certainly convinced me during tests in the shop but afterwards it was a disappointment. So I can't explain exactly what made me buy this perfume. Yes it has a nice and pleasant start and is fresh and loose, so it's really a very pleasing scent

But with each time my euphoric impression of the beginning was clouded. The durability and the sillage are underground and so even the best scent just can't convince and is rubbish. It was definitely a lesson to me and I will never make such a mistake again and let myself be bewitched by these "two-faced" saleswomen.

Of course, I am exaggerating a bit now when describing the ladies in such shops, so don't take it too badly. The scent is and remains junk for me and was given away as a present, even as a toilet scent it was not usable.

Can I have another shot of amaretto?
The fragrance has only recently entered my small collection and is now part of the "family".

Pi is a really nice scent. I now had a few days to test it and make a first judgement. As I said, a nice aromatic scent and a winter grenade. Especially this almond note is very present and gives me pictures from a Christmas bakery.

Well, there's a little mulled wine stand there too ;) But I really like Pi. The spicy aromas paired with a subtle sweetness but also a strong finish are great. Even in the office I didn't find the scent "To Much" and my colleagues also liked it.

I think all in all it is a great winter scent for a fair price. The durability and the fragrance are in my eyes above average. Even the Sillage is TipTop and the bottle is something different and really successful.

The Golden Boy
In my eyes, this fragrance, although unisex, is designed more for the male sex. Certainly, the raspberry in the top note gives a different impression at first, but the smoky and spicy aroma dominates in my eyes.

It is a fragrance that is made for winter and the Christmas season. I hardly know fir balm especially in scents and was very enthusiastic about this composition. I don't take the leather part so strongly, maybe because tobacco and incense dominate. The sweetness and fruitiness are also rather subordinate, whereby the raspberry is very present especially at the start. The vanilla note rides a bit undercover here, but that doesn't bother me much. It's subtle and I like it when the sweetness is more restrained.

The investment in this fragrance should of course be considered but I think you will not regret it. A golden Christmas is guaranteed here.

The smell of summer
If you could capture summer and squeeze it into a bottle, Artisan Pure would probably do it. One of my absolute favourite fragrances for summer and on warm days. The citrusy freshness, the beautiful iris note and the woods harmonize perfectly with this Artisan offshoot.

The durability is not severe, just like the Sillage, but with which summery scent is this already the case. The scent is convincing here all along the line and is suitable for the office as well as the gym or a day at the beach. The very pleasant and intrusive scent always reminds me of my holidays in Greece and puts me in positive Vibes.

The price-performance ratio is just as good and could be a door opener into the world of John Varvatos.
