Nice 70s Musk
Max Factor apparently, excited the fragrance market sometime around 1986 but this is a fragrance I wish they'd have kept making. I found a small bottle on Ebay and since it was inexpensive, I bought it.

Spice Musk is aptly named, because that's exactly what it is. It's dominated by musk and pepper, although it does seem like there's herbal additions, like basil, added to the mix as well. There is also a sweet scent in the mix but I can't place what it is.

When it's first applied, the musk and pepper definitely step forward, although disappointingly, I pick up a sort of a plastic note as well. Luckily, the plastic note fades away as time goes on.

Projection and longevity are average.

I'm very happy to own this fragrance and if I could pick up another bottle inexpensively, I'd buy it, although it appears they rarely show up on Ebay.

Very Feminine
While I love Monegal's Agar Musk, Ambra di Luna is definitely not for me.

This fragrance is an amber and slightly vanilla mix, which is completely overpowered by a heavy talcum powder effect.

I'd classify this as an extremely feminine fragrance and quite honestly, something that would seem like a good fit for a woman in her 60s or older.

A VERY strong creamsicle
I received a sample of this from a friend.

In a nutshell: It's a very strong, intense orange creamsicle and is almost identical to Laura Biagiotti's Roma per Uomo, except that the Eau des Merveilles is so much stronger.

If you want a light version of this, Roma per Uomo is the way to go and relatively cheap. You should be able to get a bottle of it for around $30 on Ebay.

A smoky, bright and uplifting fragrance.
In the opening, the immediate two notes I smell are smoke and incense but it's not so much as church incense as it is a bright incense. The woods in the fragrance are more background players than at the forefront. It also has a note that I'm having a hard time placing and it could very well be the absynth, since that's listed as the central note. Quite honestly, I don't know what absynth smells like on its' own, so it's hard for me to say. When it dries down, the bright incense takes over as the dominant note.

This was on my want list for quite some time and admittedly, when I first sampled it, I wasn't terribly impressed but later, I went back and tried it again. It was like a drug and I was hooked.

This is easily a 10/10 in my book.

A clean, expensive smelling talcum.
It's a rich smelling citrus and powder blend that dries down to what smells like an expensive talcum powder. I don't really pick up the other little nuances that are listed.
