One of the best sandalwood fragrances.
This review is for the the sandalwood essential oil fragrance only, NOT the pre-shave oil or the shaving cream.
There was a time when I decided that I wanted a good sandalwood fragrance and I wanted it to just have sandalwood, as opposed to being one of many ingredients. After looking around a bit, I found this. To confirm the composition, I called the manufacturer and asked them what was in it. They responded: Sandalwood oil and alcohol. Nothing else. So, I bought one.
I have to say that it's just wonderful. It's a nice, smooth sandalwood smell, as it should be. It has tremendous sillage and longevity, so you have to spray it very lightly if you're wearing it to somewhere like work. Trust me, one spray is plenty. When I first got it, I put on four sprays and people all around me were practically choking on it.
Bottom line: If you want a sandalwood fragrance with sillage and longevity, this is for you.

Fresh and Clean
I'm a fan of fresh, clean scents and Neroli Portofino, although pricey, is excellent.
It has average sillage and projection but it seems to have decent longevity at 6-8 hours. This is a very clean scent and perfect for any occasion: a night out, a wedding or business meetings. It's inoffensive, so it's safe for work.
I'd recommend it but not for the retail price. If you can trade for it or pick it up at a reasonable price on Ebay, don't pass it up.

Not For Me
Yuck!
I'm a fan of Oud blends but this is one I'll pass on. I was able to get a sample from a friend and I'm not impressed at all.
It has a leather belt, shoe polish type of smell with an odd citrus thrown in.

A Horrid Fragrance
I'm a person who likes clean and soapy fragrances but this one is a horrid fragrance.
This is like a harsh bathroom cleaner.
It smells like they mixed up a lot of chemicals, realized it was horrible and then finally someone said "let's try to throw in some lemon and maybe that will make it better" and when it didn't, they said "screw it, let's try to sell it anyway".

Vanilla, vanilla, vanilla and a bit of balsamic.
Vanilla, vanilla, vanilla, with an almost unnoticeable touch of balsamic to temper it a bit.
That's all I smell. I don't smell cedar or anything smoky. If I were to compare the fragrance to something, it would be vanilla taffy.
It's not a bad fragrance but definitely more feminine than masculine.
As a side note, this is only one of two fragrances that I've ever worn that actually made me a bit nauseous.
