Big Peach Energy.
So yummy smelling in the opening(this is where the peach shines), but turns more sythetic as the mid comes through. This is probably due to the bubblegummy tuberose. A big fan of this. Unsure if I would buy a full bottle, but if a good deal popped up i'd find it hard to resist. I have nothing like this in my collection. There is a small small similarity to "Intense Tiaré | Montale" that comes through after about 30-45 mins from application. I chalk this up to the coconut, davana and tuberose.
The tuberose takes on a rather yellow (buttery) quality in this composition which gives this fragrance a tropical undercurrent that aids the emblematic coconut. The tropical scent bubble this produces is impressive for around 2 hours on my skin. The woods in the dry down barely make themselves known unless you hold you nose to your skin, or you wait several hours for the top and mid to fade a bit. The composition and it's performance are brilliant. There is a slightly cloying, synthetic core to this fragrance that may annoy people, and it's vibrancy means that it can be a little distracting if in an office or trying to work.
For this reason I feel it woud best suit a high latitude spring, summer or autumn, or mid latitude during any season but the hottest, when one is outside relaxing by a pool of water (lake, river, stream, sea, swimming pool) and the soft breezes carry the scent with a subtle ebb and flow.

A citrus bomb. The love child of bathroom cleaner and fresh linen sheets.
This is without a doubt a hugely refreshing and invigorating fragrance. The blast of citrus in the opening needs some time to settle as it is overwhelming, like being attacked by lemon, yuzu, and bergamot flavoured sunflowers. Suffocating, yet beautiful.

The cedarwood offers a softness in the mid, which is deftly counterbalanced by the dry bitterness of the black tea note.

I have most enjoyed this in the air, or on fabrics. On my skin all I am left with is the citrus notes which turn more and more sour as time passes. In air or on fabric this fragrance seems to have more breath, more room to open up and develop. Unsure as to why. For this reason I wouldn’t say this is a safe full bottle buy.

I received a decent as part of a month subscription to HooHaa (UK Based), and have been using it to scent my sheets (the top and mid notes are great for this), and to scent my second hand books that may have been owned by heavy smokers in that past.

The dry down compliments the smell of book paper (not smokers book paper but new book paper). The woods and earthy grasses and frankincense give the dry down a nice woody warmth which, for me, can not be detected on skin. On skin (after an hour of so) all I get is sour citrus and kitchen floor cleaner. ?
It could be a lovely summer scent, but it doesn’t work for my skin.

Quick first impression.
This is a long statement.
First impression is that it smells like a cleaner, less barnyardy, less nuanced "Alien Oud Majestueux | Mugler". The raspberry comes out later on my skin, entwined with the oud which bends it into something that to my nose could be mistaken for a white floral with a tart sour nuance.

I don’t know if such a flower exists.

It is very wearable, easy for cooler summer days (20-22 degrees). Full bottle worthy? Nah. Not in the slightest. It’s a very synthetic oud, I’m not sure that there are any naturals in this (not a bad thing) so for the price of a full bottle it is not worth it. Given the ingredients, the sillage and longevity, i can’t imagine it costs a lot to create, and this is apparent in the smell

A Story In Itself.
A haunting composition. Powdery with a sharp spicy resinous shadow looming over it. The oud and star anise follow the bright blue melancholy of the iris. As they follow in behind the iris, they stomp down the tart juniper and the powdery rose, working it into the muddy mulch of grass and filth. This filth is not like filth we’re used to, these lands are opulent and refined with a foreboding air. It feels very Silmarillion. Men frolicking in their lands, while orcs and ring wraiths emanate the earthy scent of vetiver, dank patchouli and oud at their borders. The air is getting fouler and the scent more oppressive, hanging thick the longer their presence persists.

As much as the hordes of orcs have desecrated the fields, treading all flowers into the ground, the iris’ remain. They are hauntingly in the background for the vetiver, frankincense and patchouli. The spice from the clove and star anise play with the vetiver giving it a lush green hue despite its dryness.

This is a must try. An experience. A journey. It’s the perfect scent for autumn or spring, the transformational seasons, as this too undergoes a transformation that is befitting of both seasons.

Full bottle worthy? For some. For me? Possibly… possibly. It’s a joy to wear.

Sensational.
This fragrance is truly a timeless masterpiece. I feel powerful, wise and snobby with 2 spritz of this. I adore it. How things change. I used to turn my nose up at No.5, but after acquiring a bottle recently (I had decided I was of the age where this fragrance make sense to me) I cannot get enough. It's perfect, it smells like glass. There is a clean transparency throughout this fragrance but most apparent in the opening. This is something that did not appeal to my young nose, bearing a similarity (to me ) to White Diamonds by Arden several years ago. As my collection grew and I became more interested in the note profile and in aldehydes in general. This is a classic example of aldehydic floral. It is perfect. For bed, for business, for brunch, to meet the inlaws, for anything. To add your own take on it, layer it with another fragrance. The sillage is just right, not too large but enough for those immediately around you to detect it.

I just can't get enough of this. it is perfection.
