I observe with my nose the phenomenon that I like the "Intense" variants of a fragrance usually so much better than their originals. This is probably because the Intense variants are often "rounded", by tonka bean, vanilla or other "cuddlers".
With the Libre EdP I could not understand the hype so at all, soapy, synthetic and boring I found him.

The reviews on the Libre Intense suggested that he goes in a completely different direction and was the clear winner compared to the normal variant. I ordered me in the Souk first a 2 ml filling and after a few days of testing, a 90 ml bottle. Great love, I join my Voredner:innen!

The fragrance is soft and sensual, slightly tart and at first sniff I could actually imagine him even on a man. It becomes more "vanilla" as it goes on in a caressing way that is neither scratchy nor synthetic. The lavender wraps around you like a blanket and I don't notice the citrus at all!

I often get headaches from present fragrances, not with this perfume :) The H+S is awesome, 2 sprays are absolutely enough and last 10 hrs+. I would not declare him as Ausgehduft, I can not in the current situation :D I wear him in all situations with pleasure. Since he is very space-filling, he could be many in the office and everyday life "too much". For me, the fragrance is the adult Good Girl of CH, a little more elegant and matured, but just as sexy!

I like it when I perceive fragrances even after hours on myself, these ,,Oh that smells good!"-moments gives me YSL Libre Intense distributed throughout the day and that's why I'm grateful to have found him :)

I have now tried all di Gioia fragrances and this shares with the ,,Original" the 1st place. At the first sprayer he came to me unexpectedly known, more about this later ;)

The fragrance starts for me in a floral cloud and the typical-fresh di Gioia feeling, especially lily of the valley and jasmine strike, rose I do not smell out. The pear is more creamy than fruity, but noticeable. After a few moments, it all adds up to a very pleasant and restrained ,,clean" scent. With me, no toilet stone / air freshener scent develops, which I take rather as tart and penetrating was, Ocean is restrained and shy.

What Armani was thinking with the fragrance name is beyond me. If I had to name the fragrance it would have become something like Cloud or Cozy di Gioia :D The fragrance is soft and floral rather than maritime and fresh, I expected something more tart and thunderous with the name.

The durability is okay, the sillage perceptible but not intrusive. An absolute office -and everyday fragrance. If I do not know in the morning what I'm after, the handle automatically goes to one of the di Gioia fragrances, which always go :) Ocean is also a nice companion for Sundays, snuggled up on the couch. For the pub or to go out to eat, he would not be sexy enough for me.
The bottle is beautiful and kept simple as usual.

Now let's move on to the similarity with one of my other perfumes, which struck me immediately.
Givenchy Irresistible smells very very similar, but is rosier in the drydown and overall fruitier than Ocean di Gioia. A look at both fragrance pyramids confirms my nose. I have kept Ocean anyway because I like rose scent, but not every day and Ocean is simply something "more neutral" :)

First of all: MY DKNY by DKNY was the first perfume that I have regularly re-bought and at some point on the Internet was no longer found. A search on the Facebook page of DKNY then resulted in the unpleasant news, Discontinued ... I was incomprehensible at the time, so I have contacted via Facebook to DKNY and now we come to the point that I must particularly emphasize. DKNY has a bombastic customer service. My fear was confirmed, but they asked me for my address to send me a ,,redress". 2 weeks later, mail arrived from the US, a miniature of MY DKNY and a 30 ml version of the ,,Be Delicious". In addition, a handwritten apology, I was and am thrilled.
Thereupon I was able to get hold of 2 large 100 ml heart flacons at an online retailer, which were now used with thoughtfulness. A few weeks ago then the surprise while browsing, he seems to be back :D This is my first comment on a fragrance and it seemed to me none more worthy!

With a wide variety of fragrances, body lotion samples made me aware of the perfume. This was the case with NR EDT and also with MY DKNY. The sample was used one evening after bathing and the scent that nestled around me afterwards like a warm blanket, has surprised me very positively. I have never warmed up to any other DKNY fragrance! I found the fragrance to be warm and woody, with a pleasant, fruity sweetness.

I got compliments on my perfume the next day at the office that was actually just body lotion from the night before. After this day, I got me directly a bottle, which was already very affordable in the 30 ml version at the time. At home tested directly, the fragrance disappointed me unfortunately. The soft, sweet "cuddly wood scent" needs namely something to develop, unlike the lotion. Initially, the raspberry is very synthetic, headache loud. But after about 10 minutes, the familiar scent sets 30 ml have no lid, you press directly on the smooth surfaces of the heart to spray, I like that visually super, but dust quickly ;)
For fans of sweet, fruity fragrances with adult drydown worth a try, especially at the current price!
