I have rediscovered White Suede. I treated myself to it years ago, buying it on the spur of the moment because this clean, soft scent suited the mood on a milky eve. But the love didn't last long, I soon grew tired of it>: I found it one-sided, too clean, almost too penetratingly clean. He slipped to the back. But as life goes: suddenly he fits again, my attitude has obviously changed, today I feel spice, clarity, somehow intellectual, complicated, contradictory femininity. Love is back, a little serene, a little older, but the fragrance touches me more than before.

I've tried so many cherries before, Tom Ford was intense, it killed me, made me sticky. This one is different. It sparkles and shimmers when you spray it on, it's not sticky, it sparkles. I smell almond, I smell creaminess, I think of sparkling champagne and cherry sorbet. And behind that, there is spice and depth, contradictory, fresh and sexy, I am thrilled!

Chocolate in a bottle, I was curious. The first spray snakes up my nose and I want to lick my lips, velvety chocolate without being sugary sweet envelops me and makes me smile. Is this what I've always been looking for? Chocolate that doesn't immediately fill my nose? But then the orangey note breaks through. Overshadows the chocolate, makes it topple over. I am downright dismayed. The happiness was too brief. In the end, the slightly pungent citrus tang remains. Gone. Too bad.

At first sniff, my nose still flinched a little, too "minty", "herbaceous", "healthy" almost. But then, an almost magical development. The fragrance almost melts, becomes soft and sensual and like a second skin. It is full of contradictions, pure and clear and yet warm and sensual, cheeky and velvety at the same time. It reflects the crisp, cozy feel of winter as well as the warm wind on a bare summer arm. Not tangible and yet always there. I no longer want to be without it.

I had only tried the scent, sprayed it briefly on my wrist, and then gone my way, checking things off. Honestly, gentlemen approached me in three (!) shops and asked me what I smelled like! The smell is really like light for moths, it attracts people! And you really like to smell yourself! Great!
