I dont need NDN Anymore
I loved NDN. I feel as this is a easier wear in daytime and less dark and earthy. Im splitting nuances here..but for the price, check this out first before u purchase NDN. ITs that good. I diddnt want to believe it either.

Black No1 by Matriarch (formerly blackbird)
Black No1 by Matriarch (15ml spray)

Black No.1 is a piney sea-green & leather scent that adheres to Matriarch's vision of natural perfumery. Prismatic, as many nuances of notes dance upon the Matriarch stage and as the embodiment of the Seattle, Oregon, No.Cal aesthetic. Natural, updated, luxurious, quirky, sexy-clean with a conscience. No1 morphs with your skin creating a custom scent that enhances you.

No1 is loaded with 33% essential oils. Id venture to call it a super extrait. Black No1 is as close to maximum quality you can infuse in a bottle, so its price/quality ratio makes this affordable. Its 33% essential oil formula is apparent when one goes to sniff No1. It can collect in the back of your mouth and eventually taste it. I wouldnt advise burying your nose in your arm with Black No.1.

Silage is only noticed when one is close to the body, about arms length maximum. Understated sexy in its presentation to others. Duration of the scent lasted about 6 hours.

Is it Masculine? Feminine? Unisex?

Its for urban male hipsters that like a fougere minus the floral notes. No.1 resonated better on male skin. Primarily because their inherent manly hormones lends to what Black No1 needs to be a sexy stunner. Musk, animalics or something dirty in the base to balance the cleanliness.

Females that love an overdose of leather & adventuresome green aspects would resonate with Black No1. It could be for the sophisticated artisan that dons her finest leather jacket and lives near the Puget Sound. Its forest notes are counterbalanced by the sea notes creating a neutral balance for both sexes to wear

Coco Blanc
QVC 2017 15ml Coco Blanc

A white chocolate vanillic creamy woody fragrance. The chai spice and the wood are prominent in my wearing. Sillage is low, close to the body but you can still detect it. Its not going to announce your arrival but hug you in a warm embrace.

2-3 sprays to the body is really all you need. Im glad HOM is on QVC, it makes their offerings available to a much wider audience with competitive pricing and easy payments. A very smart business move. HOM is a higher price point as it is mostly natural so that is a larger investment than the modern aroma chemicals. It does have depth and a luxe feel.

Unisex to me due to the large wood presence. This is smoother and more likable than Baruti Chai, and a woodier coromandel. I couldnt handle the screechy synthetic Kulfi note in TF . This is a nice option to have. Longevity is 7hrs strong, so if anyone had doubts about that issue, the new QVC version seemed to have addressed it.

Longing...
The Longing is an enigma.
Out of chaos in the beginning spray the fragrance begins to come together into order.

Notes of oud, plum, butter, gardenia, vanilla, jasmine, honey and leather. Its complex. gourmandish, a throwback to the 80s where fragrances were complex, and thus turned to an individual scent for the wearer due to ones personal chemistry.

This is gourmand, but its gourmand if you asked your local perfumer-apothecary to whip up something using natural essences. The aspect makes this a unique offering to the market.

Its a special fragrance and wonderful to me. Well done Christi & Joseph!

Aria in #F.

Aria is full of rich sandalwood, chocolaty herbal patchouli, and cardamom giving it a minty cool aromatic feel. In my wearing the minty presence isnt bothersome to me, but it may give modern noses fits as they are more calibrated to sweeter scents, rather than a true oriental nature.

The sandalwood grows and a gentle floral unfurls under the woody scent. Rose harmonizes with the earthy patchouli and brings this fragrance together. I detect a real vanilla in the base.

This reminds me of scents like Lubin's Galaad in that aeromatic fresh woody natural scent. I will add Aria has an ancient thread dwelling within it and is not meant to be instep with modern designer scents. Its a look back with amazing raw ingredients such as real sandalwood, patchouli and cardamom. Its sad our modern noses has adjusted to so many synthetics to the point the natural essence is offensive to some fragrance enthusiasts. This is a very chemistry driven scent, so try a sample for yourself as every wearing I feel will be different for each person.

It worked for me and I enjoy these types of scents.
