Stand out instead of embarrassing
First of all, I have to say that I really like fragrances that are generally polarizing.
You have to get involved with Blamage, you have to want it. And everyone should be aware that this fragrance always does something to you and your surroundings. But in very different ways. And sometimes you're not even prepared for what's to come.
Blamage changes with the slightest change in temperature. Partly creamy, freshly woody, the synthetic oud in the background, then stronger again, the creaminess (milk, peach) seems more fermented and the oud more penetrating.
But this is precisely what makes it so exciting, because the drydown is nevertheless supple and everlasting.
I like to wear Blamage in spring when it's a pleasant 20 degrees. On warm days, almost hot in the sun. Days in May and June when it's much colder in the evening. This is where Blamage shows the full extent of what it can do. In the beginning, I found myself smelling it again and again on the back of my hand when I was testing it in order to perceive the nuances of the change.
And yes... it is synthetic and unique.
And this is exactly where the association of the "mistake" or "accident" or unfortunate creation lies, as gualtieri interprets this fragrance

Like a fresh fist bump..
... so I thought at the first spray . Simply overwhelming. What tart freshness with lemon, bergamot and pepper. But there's something else. Is it oud? Cedar? Yes, most likely cedar. Oud is a subject of debate in this fragrance, as you know. But that doesn't matter, I thought. Because this fragrance has a composition that I have not smelled so yet.
Fresh, tart and yet with a subtle sweetness that slowly builds up in the course without being somehow unpleasant or even too much or annoying. Just right. Here is cedar not flattering but present and really masculine.
The flattering comes later in the drydown. Since the royal oud becomes tamer and warmer.
A really great fragrance. Perhaps for me the perfect association of a cool autumn day.
but how about the durability... well a fresh fragrance holds yes known not quite so eternally long. Still, I don't know if the presence is enough for me. Because as much as I like him the faster he can go (or is it just in my perception?)
nevertheless I believe that he is worth the money to me and will accompany me after my small tester a flacon...

The first meeting ... first love
On the large shelf of a well-known perfume chain, this fragrance was initially given little attention.

Next to the marketing around Johnny depp rose the sauvage fragrances still and nöcher. ... further down was the tester. A little dusty. Heavy, massive
.
a small splash of this finely adjusted spray head was enough to bring me into other spheres... heavy, leather, quite dark, an orange note, lily... quite different from the little brother and something in the fragrance, yes, which reminded me of Christmas market.
So a small spray should be enough so that I am really noticed and the fragrance develops a great silage?
Yes, definitely.
The first encounter then with a fragrance of great durability and a really extraordinary silage.
Please dior, no reformulation

Italy in the evening... 26 degrees
In search of a souvenir from Italy on vacation discovered a small perfumery in a side street...
Acqua du Parma on the shelf beautifully presented. Actually, acqua di Parma has never really tangent me and convinced, but maybe I had never found the right fragrance.
There it stood, black and graceful, the oud.
i wanted a summer fragrance, something light, tangy, but yet no oud fragrance.
I was taught better.
The first spray on the test strip showed me immediately what I have to do with it. With a perfume of class. And even what I was looking for, something tangy, light. At first! but about that later
The scent of bergamot with the incorporated oud made my eyes widen.
Indeed. An oud scent, absolutely suitable for summer.
A spray on the back of my hand and I gratefully left the store to see how it would develop... and develop it did. Although it seemed light at first it became stronger, darker from quarter hour to quarter hour. The oud more present but without ever losing its light start with the bergamot.
Woody freshness spread. A perfume of absolute class.
The nuances were enough for me to buy with the fragrance.
Evening, go out. Three spritz
and again this phenomenal prelude, again this beautiful course. But after two hours I thought he was gone. I was wrong. Apparently I floated in this powerful and yet light cloud and I was confirmed even after a few hours that I smelled clearly.
The next morning, a grip over the neck. It is still present.
A great fragrance which really provides a magical aura. Light and yet powerful, floral and yet woody.
Very very nice

In the shadow of the brother... wrongly
A spray
Wow... Pepper, mint, rose, more mint, bergamot, fresh, very masculine, maybe a little rough, but that's exactly how it should be, the Viking.
Too little noticed and clearly in the shadow of the sales hit Aventus.
Even if a pseudo perfume connoisseur named Jeremy has repeatedly stated that Aventus and Viking can be worn on the same occasion (which I agree with him) but it is still not the same DNA which connects the two fragrances but only the name Creed.
I find Viking clearly more exciting. Perhaps also because I smell Aventus meanwhile often when I move through the German cities.
But also because he brings to the end for me what I always appreciate in the first two hours with many Fougere fragrances. Lavender. But not in the prelude but in the drydown. And the whole with the above-described head and base notes makes this fragrance really very nice and never boring
