Matiere Premiere is my best discovery of late 2021 - a year of lockdown and trauma due to Covid-19 in the city where I live. So, the fragrances from this house feel like comforting rays of hope to me personally.

So far this is my most favorite from Senyokô - a great discovery of the 1st half of 2022 for me, together with Jorum Studio by the same nose Euan McCall. Madama Butterfly II is the alternate, more hopeful and empowering ending to the classic opera play. I hate the way the opera ends. I much much prefer the ending of the original short story by John Luther Long (the famous opera play is just an adaption of the short story). Senyokô and McCall have succesfully interpreted the spirit of the original short story ending into mesmerizing accords of scent.
