Vanilla coconut cream with dry-woody cleanliness
Without the addition of a lovely perfume I would never have tested this fragrance. The bottle looks like something from My Little Pony. And Ariana Grande, isn't that some kind of instagram star? Well, I've been getting my act together by now. And that doesn't make the scent any more appealing to me either. I am with 35 years probably simply not the target group.

But all I had was a small transparent tube and so I went to this fragrance unbiased. First there was something fruity, juicy, maybe pear liqueur with raspberries...
Only in the first few seconds, though. Then it became a wonderful creaminess. Coconut, yes, but not in your face. Rather abstract and equally balanced by vanilla. I actually perceived praliné, like the hazelnut cream filling of chocolate-coated biscuit sticks.

That sounds like a classic gourmand now, but that's not cloud to me. The fragrance does without this clumsy, edible aspect that many gourmands have. There's a dry, woody cleanliness that beautifully blends the creamy-sweet vanilla notes into the earth. I can understand what is meant when someone compares this fragrance with a men's deodorant. Speick lavender or something. But together with the sweet, feminine component it becomes something great. The one without the other would be nothing and both is more than the sum of its parts. A fascinating, dazzling fragrance creation. I haven't smelled anything comparable yet, because I don't know Baccarat Rouge 540 ;)

Anyway, I couldn't get my nose off my wrist anymore. Also my husband found the smell totally great. The next day I ordered Cloud in full size. Dear Jenny05, thanks for a new favorite fragrance!

Polymer course at the University of Kaiserslautern
It was the summer before I took my Abi. At the University of Kaiserslautern there was an event for students interested in science. I had signed up for a hair gel production workshop. Polymers, I found bomb. So we panicked our hair gel, mine was yellow at the end and had golden glitter in it.
But above all, I remember the scent you could dribble into it from a laboratory bottle you had provided: synthetic, hairspray, but also fresh and clean as if you had just showered. Rosy softener, soapy and feminine, a touch of bourgeois girl care. The pink color gel for the hair, which is available in the drugstores at carnival, smells similar. Very peculiar, with a lot of recognition value. You can also say a club.

Summer 2017: Suddenly I smelled my old hair gel from the University of Kaiserslautern in the stairwell again - so much for the Sillage. That interested me very much now, which smell there so like my polymer summer fairy tale smells. However, I did not dare to ask all the neighbours about their perfume.

But I didn't have to wait long. In the supermarket my hair gel was suddenly in the air again and since you probably won't see each other again anyway, I dared. "Excuse me? What kind of perfume you got on there? That smells so good." "Ah, thank you! This is Chloé. The normal one."

Ha, perfect. Ab zu Kaufhof and bought a small pack of eau de toilette. Yes, this is it... Now I'm holding Chloé under my nose every now and then and I'm young again. I didn't want to wear it yet. It's more of a trip down memory lane.

Expensive suede jacket hangs next to business pantsuit
Expensive, soft suede. Flowery, but for me with a harsh, masculine touch. I can understand the white peach, but "fruity" is about the last thing I associate with this fragrance.
I apologize in advance for any clichés: I spontaneously associate a Hamburg real estate agent or banker in a well-fitting pantsuit, pretty but somewhat austere, with a tight blonde ponytail. A business fragrance. A little sadly, too: Know one, know all.

If I want to be serious and not reveal much about myself, he is my first choice. Perfect for buying Montblanc fountain pens in fine stationery shops. But no feel-good scent.

The durability is remarkable, the survives a whole night. Sillage: Oh yes, you can smell it

One of the most beautiful pistachio scents
Wow. Wow. It comes very close to my long-sought, lost scent "Macaron Pistache".
Especially the first sprayer is wonderful when the alcohol has not yet evaporated: crunchy pistachio macarons and creamy, authentic pistachio ice cream. Sweet and with a compact, creamy melt. The ice cream is sprinkled with caramelized Italian pistachios and has a slight Amaretto flavour. For me, alcohol is part of the composition, not an annoying evil that you hurry to wipe away.

When the alcohol has evaporated, the scent is still beautiful without question. However, it gets a little too stuffy for me, as if the pistachio ice cream had dripped onto an old plush sofa. I have to think of a waffle iron for ice cream waffles that has been in use for a little too long and where dough residues slowly burn into the waffle. Slightly scratchy and dull stabbing.
That was it then also with the development, but the Demeter fragrances are anyway monothematisch thought.

He doesn't take up much space, but that's okay. I find shelf life below average.

Altogether my clear winner about "Pistachio Brûlée" by Urban Outfitters (dull, any vanilla sauce) and even more about "Pistachio Gelato" by Ganache (greasy piece of hand soap).

Too little liquor
At some point I got a bottling of a fragrance that just said "Macaron Pistache" - for me the perfect pistachio fragrance. Sweet schnapps, nutty-mandelig, in a good way synthetic intense, one tasted almost a crunchy soft pistachio macaroon of the Parisian cult manufacturer. However, I never found out which manufacturer this fragrance was from.

In the search for this or a similar fragrance I have poached a lot in the pistachio area. I discovered Pistachio brûlée and ordered it blind.

Hmm. The scent is not bad, gourmandig-sweet and yes, you can make out a light, characteristic pistachio note. Alone, I'm missing the booze. It's too warm, too soft, too spongy for me. Or, to put it bluntly, too musty. I want that smooth, intense touch, not just warm vanilla pudding. Unfortunately this disappears within seconds. And what's left has only one shell, flat sweetness left.

Otherwise I can't tell a development, the durability is also not intoxicating. A typical clothes brand fragrance. I guess I won't wear it.
