Incredibly well-dosed pyramid - love you!
As a fan rather of the banging fragrances with strong sillage I was yes hugely excited about my second Maison Christian Dior, because my first (New Look) was rather tame.
The description was so times quite something else.
And already in advance: yes, dear François, you have really managed quite great; the notes of the pyramid are well dosed and no one dominates.
So I found myself the first few minutes in the corner store again, where I bought back then after school for 60 pfennigs 2 cherry lollipops (the green stem :-)) and 2 foam strawberries. Mmhm, but that's actually not so my thing.
However, poof, is also already the mega sweetness disappeared and it remains a touch of fruit. Quite delicious.
Then, yes, that's mine, joins the so beloved black currant to it and brakes the sweetness completely with a fine tartness out.
The final chord with such an incredibly fine dosage P-M is just the blast and stays and stays and stays. I smell even after hours still ALL fragrance notes.
Despite a rather weak sillage you become one of my favorites.

1927 Combinations
For once, 1927 seems to be not a year, but the sum of the fragrance combinations that this extraordinary perfume takes on as it is worn.
From green-earthy to sweet-powdery, back to green, now with fresh to spicy, then flowery, and so it goes on for quite a while.
I can't believe it, it's a permanent game between 2 fragrances, then turn around and flux a new combo.
Moss, flower, aunt Frieda, powder, I'm going crazy, already different again, I fluctuate between like and dislike.
I've never seen anything like it before
When I look at the scent type pie chart of the community, I have to smile; this is the statistical proof.
In the end, on a cold autumn day something flowery-creamy remained with me; would be interesting how that would be in summer.
I'll put you on the watch list and keep an eye on you.

the fine lady on safari
Unfortunately a disappointing note: it has very little to do with the scent of the Okanvango. I was allowed to experience my most beautiful sunset on the Okavango, but an association with this scent is difficult to make.
I will try the image of a fine lady who dressed up in a lodge on a luxury safari in the early 1900s. Yes, she could have used such a perfume.
About the fragrance itself:
Already the first sprayer enchants in a sea of flowers paired with a touch of tangerine; very noble and extravagant; it comes close to any scent from my past; I have thought about it for days, but I can't figure it out; Magnolia as written here, it is not with me; maybe someone from the community can help me.
The creamy note follows relatively quickly and the whole thing reminds me a little of Chanel fragrances; it stays and stays and stays, the durability is incredible
A noble companion, with whom I feel like a fine lady all day long.
And I promise to use it on my next Okavango tour (and since I only own one bottling, I hope to return to Africa soon)!

puristic, modern and simply wonderful
I had to wear this wonderful fragrance for 3 days to form a final opinion and to be able to formulate it somehow.
In the end my headline hits the mark: puristic, modern and simply wonderful.
With the first sprayer I was confused at first; I couldn't classify it at all: somehow like freshly ironed/chemical cleaning ; the second perception: oh dear, harsh and unfortunately too masculine.
But this subsides within minutes and a pure and clean scent remains; and then... so after 10 minutes, to the great surprise, a small fine hint of citric is added, which remains.
This mixture is ingenious.
I feel like I'm decorated, but not masked
No strong sillage, but long shelf life.
All in all a gender-neutral and modern fragrance for all seasons and occasions.

the first time
No, this is not a teenage mess, but a declaration of love from the past
At sweet 17, my best friend and I were hopelessly addicted to the newly discovered fragrances.
Something different from the classics of the mothers (I remember Tosca or similar and very rarely Chanel No 5) was hard to get hold of or to sniff first, because big perfumeries were still rare at that time. I indulge in rapturous memories, once I was at the Galeries Lafayette in Paris or at the KDW in Berlin: fragrance paradises. And there weren't really that many little waters that were affordable for schoolgirls either.
Paris, Opium, Anais Anais and a few others were the significant scents, but they were all too heavy and lovely for me.
And then there was MY Armani. Of course I didn't know that it was chypre-like-floral, but that was simply MY fragrance. I had only been able to afford the deodorant, but with the first spray I immediately felt transported to the big wide world. I am grown up, I am sexy, I am emancipated, I will study, I will conquer the world. Of course, at first I applied it too violently, but at that time it almost made my driving instructor faint.
I wore it for a long time and regret to this day that the production was stopped. All following Armanis were tested, but no comparison or even a second love
It was MY fragrance; I can still smell it in my memory and would still buy it immediately today.
