Poudre d'Épices
I love the spices in the beginning of Poudre d'Épices, they are sweet and soft and makes me think of bread, although this is not at all a gourmand fragrance. It´s just spicy.
Unfotunately the mix of top and middle notes does not last more than 1-2 hours then it all becomes more woody and a bit powdery. Nothing wrong with that, I would have loved this bit just as much if it wasn´t for the fact that it´s so, so weak. I find myself longing for the clove and cinnamon but nothing happens as Poudre d'Épices hit this stage...it´s just downhill from here.

The longivity is suprisingly good though, even if I have to search for the point where I sprayed the scent I do find it even after 8 hours.
But all in all I guess I´m too bored to want to search for it every day.

Sweet and cozy
At first I thought that this was perhaps the wrong perfume for the day.
When I looked out it was wonderful sunshine and 7 degrees Celsius. But then I had already rolled my arms with this small solid perfume in their adorable packaging.

It wasn´t compeletely wrong after all as the smell of vanilla ice cream made me think of spring's first soft ice cream, perhaps with caramel sauce as a topping ... I certainly think that there are traces of caramel aroma here as well. Not bad!

Vanilla Sucre Glace is not a sillagemonster. Maybe it has to do with it being a solid perfume and therefore it is difficult to overspray with vanilla and that's a good thing.
After a while it calms down and that's kind of like saying that now the ice cream has melted and it starts giving off a citrus scent that cheers me up in all its sweetness. The cozy factor is high but I stop myself from rolling on even more.

The drydown is not nearly as sweet, it's as if it has assumed a light powdery scent and then mixed it with a hefty dose of musk. I get a sense of a masculine tone but Vanilla sucre glace is still too cute to be so.

No, it´s not at all masculine, instead it feels relaxing to know that I´m not walking around all day like a big ice cream factory but just smells pretty damn good!

Worth the wait
Mistero di Roma begins powerfully with grapefruit and sour apple... for a second or so, I get a hint of melon, but it disappears so fast that I barely have time to react.
The grapefruit has not been sweetened in any way, it´s just as sour and bitter as it is in real life. And it lasts quite long, probably an hour or two and every time I smell my skin the grapefruit is as strong as in the beginning.

But this is not what makes me so incredibly drawn to Mistero di Roma Donna, but what happens when I move.
One gorgeous scent surrounds me in the room and it is very different from the bitter grapefruit on my arm. In the air I can feel a mixture of citrus, heliotrope and vanilla and I decide right away that I must have more of it!
The basenotes wears a resemblance to the original Roma but is so much lighter and not nearly as spicy. That makes this scent more wearable for me, because I never really know when to use Roma.
Mistero di Roma, I can see myself using every day all year round.

The base is a mix of vanilla(which now has become powdery), amber, and myrrh. Unfortunately, the scent itself is not as strong as it was in the early stages and I no longer feel it in the air when I walk ... but as it stays good for about seven - eight hours, I definitely think it's worth trying to find.

How lovely
What strikes one first is the incredibly cute bottle ... sweeter, no one can be, I sing to myself.

The beginning is very sour but settles quickly. Anyone who expects a sweet and lovely perfume of cherries in a cake or pie, Yes, things which of course is hip right now, they will have to wait long. Or simply look somewhere else. This is a very floral scent, a little old fashioned and very green in its design.

I have a hard time deciding if this is a fragrance that suits younger or older women. Obviously it is a matter of taste and I have fallen for this bottle's contents in total. The first time I tried it I was a little disappointed, I had probably expected more fruit and not just cherry blossom.

Now we are in the middle of winter and the last few days it has snowed on pretty good out there, cold as a grave, it has been. But I think that Cherry Blossom sprouted beautifully and gave us a taste today. Otherwise, I would probably recommend a lovely sunny spring day, spray, breathe in and enjoy this crisp but ohh so strong fragrance.

strong in its longevity, all day I get small puffs of cherry blossom mixed with lilac and jasmine. In the evening, it has changed its character and become a bit powdery, it's that I would want to spray the entire bed with it and dream wonderful dreams.

Now when I test sprayed it again, I felt bitterness of bergamot mixed with green tea and now in the beginning, I would actually be able to drink it. But add a lump of sugar to relieve acidity, and hurry up and drink, because here comes lilacs and then it becomes so easy to just stick with my nose in the air.

A wonderful adult little scent!

Longivity: 10/10

Conclusion: There are things that are as beautiful inside as outside.

I just have one question...
...and that is: What is so forbidden about this little rose (which besides does not exist)?
"Forbidden Rose" is classified as a floral fruity gourmand and I can partially agree with that. The first hour is in fact composed of screaming apple aroma and a very small hint of peach. But only if you know it will be there and you´re looking for it otherwise the apple takes over completely.

After an hour, I'm almost crazy from this excessive fruitiness and I feel a bit of madness coming over me. That's why I put on my winter jacket and I take the dog for a walk. Now I can´t feel it anymore, I've locked the madness in and I can start thinking other thoughts.
It´s so well locked in that when I´m back home again, I have forgotten that I was about to test a perfume at all.

When I a few moments later remember, I can not feel any apple at all around me...I start cheering and pressing my nose against my arm. Yes, because otherwise I can´t really smell "Forbidden Rose".
A light, light vanilla scent is spreading over my arm, but it´s so light that it is hardly noticeable ... and then, well, then there is no more to be said. No hint of rose, no hint of forbidden, no hint of anything. How sad, Avril.

Sillage: 10/10 first hour then 1/10

Lasting time: about 4 hours

Conclusion: This was no fun at all...booo
