D&G PH is without a shadow of doubt, my third all time favorite designer fragrance. The Made In Italy version is of course the best & the only way to go. The newer batches which have been mentioned countless of times throughout this thread are nothing like the original.

Everything about this fragrance is created & blended well. The notes do not fight to see who will lead the way, it is like a riding in the back of a Mercedes S Class! There is nothing like it. Projection & longevity are top notch & will get you through a 8 hour work day. If your skin eats up fragrances you may need to try other methods & keep a decant on you.

This will ALWAYS be in my collection. It screams the 90's & men who looked & smelled sophisticated. You simply can't go wrong with this. I find this really shines in spring/fall weather! Both seasons bring out the best in this fragrance. I would not wear it in the extreme heat & if I did, it would be summer nights ONLY!

This garners compliments ( at least for me ) but even if it didn't who cares? This is a hell of a fragrance & one of the top frags to make it's entrance the ever so popular 90's run of fragrances! It also outshines the mass crap being produced today IMO! Do yourself a favor & treat yourself to some italian luxury! *

I remember I did a blind buy of this fragrance about ten years ago or so, it came with the body wash & lotion. I remember purchasing it because it was/still is very affordable & I said wth not?

When I first smelled this, it definitely is a vintage type fragrance if I could use that term ever so loosey... I knew from the first spray that this would not be for me as it is too floral with carnation & gardenia taking over & those are two florals that I detest so I put it up & never touch it again until about a few weeks ago.

A lovely fragrance friend of mine who lives out in the bay area in Cali loves vintage style frags so I gathered up a nice package with some samples & sent her the set, she was thrilled with this fragrance as she loves it. I am glad someone will get good use out of it & will actually enjoy it because I knew I was not.

I will give this fragrance credit for having good projection & longevity especially given the price point. I do enjoy my vintage types of fragrances, but this is a big thumbs down for me!

As it has been noted, this is Mugler's Angel but done in a more polite way if you will. Not as loud nor long lasting as the queen B! BUT..... It is cheaper. Nothing else to add to this except for why fly coach when you can fly first class?.

What we have here is a beautiful, elegant classic from the 70's! I get a bitter lemon opening with lavender & some floral arrangements, it is sweet, not sugary sweet.

There are herbs to cut out some of the sweetness. It is for a classy individual more so for an adult because I do not see this type of fragrance appealing to the younger gals. I owned a vintage EDT that I acquired but only kept for nostalgia reasons.

One day my granny came to visit me & I gave her my bottle of Oscar & she absolutely LOVED IT! She was happy to have it & I was happy she enjoys it! This is ideal for fall/winter wear as that is where it shines. It projects nicely & it last at least 8 hours on me. This was created in the 70's yet it does not smell dated! Enjoy!

This fragrance is spicy, VERY SPICY! On the verge of being bland & uninteresting but there is a tad & I do mean a TAD bit of sweetness tucked somewhere in all of that concoction. It is also VERY DRY! I had a full bottle that a dear friend of mine gifted me but I hardly wore it & when I did it was around the house & it did not mix well with my skin chemistry, I seemed to have smelled of BO! Longevity is decent for that of an EDT, projection is average.

I don't mind skank ( in a good way & i'm talking about you civet ;). but this is just disturbing to my nose. I sold my bottle after trying to adjust after 5 wearings. NO THANK YOU!
