My dearest work colleagues know about my perfume obsession and also about my preference for the products of Rituals.
This can obviously be combined very well ;-)
So I was given the fragrance "Fleur de L'Himalaya" as a gift for this year's cradle festival.

At the first sniff of the bottle, I only heard a soapy lemon note, which reminded me of washing-up liquid.
Already disappointment was about to spread, but the skin test was still pending.
Sprayed on the arm, a wonderfully fresh floral fragrance develops in the course of a slightly aquatic fragrance
The rose is my priority and continuous, but at no time is it soapy or stinging.
My mental association spontaneously creates a picture in my mind's eye of a blooming rose garden on a mild, warm summer day, where young innocent girls in white fluttering dresses are having a chat over coffee and cake.

A wonderfully innocent, unobtrusive scent that I like to wear often and with pleasure on warm days.

This scent was a pure coincidence discovery for me.
We were on holiday and I had forgotten something in the first-aid kit
So what was left for me to do but to go to the pharmacy in the holiday resort and buy what I had forgotten on the spot.
In times of Corona you have to queue up everywhere, you are only let into shops one by one etc.
I placed myself in the row and inspected the nearby cosmetics shelves while waiting.
Just out of curiosity I took the simple, slim, haptically appealing tester flacon in my hand and sprayed on it.

The fragrance surprised me, a fresh fruity start, probably the grapefruit followed by the rose surrounded me.
The rose remains sweet until the end, becomes warmer and cuddly soft due to the vanilla and musk
In the Drydown I also easily perceive the wood.

The durability is surprisingly good, the two spontaneous spray bursts easily perforated 6-7 hours
Sillage I would rather classify in the lower range, but that does not bother me. Sometimes I like it more up close than a meter wide Sillage firecracker.
All in all a very beautiful harmonious fragrance.

I went back to the pharmacy the next day and bought the scent
As a kind of holiday souvenir

I was looking for the scent of Kneipp shower foam.
Soft, creamy, slightly sweet, cuddly it should be.
In the big D I held said shower foam under the nose of an employee with the comment "I am looking for a fragrance that smells exactly SO, price does not matter."
She single-mindedly approached an extra stand with the Toni Gard Woman and sprayed it on me.
My first thought: This doesn't smell like shower foam
Second thought: Wow, that smells great!
Third thought: I MUST have the perfume! I'm coming! Immediately!
Fourth thought: Why exactly did I come in here?!?

The fragrance smells exactly the way I wanted it to: very soft, warm, cuddly, almond, cuddly... oh, wonderful!
Unfortunately, the nice lady dampened my joy in the next moment, because she told me that the fragrance will soon be out of stock.
I see, that's probably why the extra display...

I bought a big sweater and emptied it within a quarter of a year.
In the meantime, however, knowing that it will be discontinued, I ordered two more bunker bottles, one of which I now use rather sparingly and keep the other one as a collector's item.

By the way, the Kneipp shower foam is no longer available either, but I don't think it's such a pity. ;-)

What do you do in the current phase, where in times of Corona contact and curfew, home office, school and kindergarten closings etc. are the order of the day?
When the children are busy with games and schoolwork and the house and yard are already spick and span because of the excessive amount of free time??
Right, there the World Wide Web is the lifeline against boredom.
So I virtually clicked and surfed through it, to find myself again and again in one of the many online perfumeries, with a virtual shopping cart in my hand, in which I found myself in unknown and inexplicable places
Anyway, I ordered the fragrance because of the appealing scent pyramid, hoping not to have made a blind purchase Fail.

Now for the fragrance:
The start is fruity with a sour note, probably due to the green apple, which I did not consciously smell. Luckily the sourness disappears quite fast, *phew* lucky!
After about 10 minutes the fragrance changes and becomes sweeter, softer. I already liked the heart best in the fragrance pyramid, because I love jasmine and caramel! The jasmine also convinces me all along the line, but the orchid also comes out great. Well, and I don't even need to talk about caramel, even if I don't notice it so much here, it is still present and gives the fragrance a wonderful creaminess.
The base rounds off the beautiful overall picture, somehow everything fits together.
The projection is also quite decent, in my opinion it doesn't have to be stronger, whereas the durability is unfortunately not outstanding, in my case it is unfortunately over after 4 hours.
Conclusion: I am not normally into star scents, but Chosen convinced me.
Who likes flowery gourmand scents should pay attention to Chosen.
Definitely recommended to buy a spring/summer scent!

The scent of Nihan was brought to my attention by YT, not by Nihan herself, I didn't know her and her YT Channel until then... i am most likely not (anymore?!) her target group at mid-30s...
However, I love to look at YT's perfume hauls and reviews to get inspired.
Who else feels the same way??

So I recently watched a first impressions video of a perfume Youtuberin, where she introduced Nihans fragrance
And as it often is, she made me curious, very curious... ;-)
So the next online visit led me to the two-letter drugstore, which sells the fragrance for little money.
Three clicks, and the perfume was on its way to me. *looking forward*

Now for the fragrance:
The packaging and the flacon are great, although obviously aimed at a younger target group. Not overly high quality, but absolutely acceptable for the low price (9.95€).
The fragrance itself is, in my opinion, NOT a hypnotic poison dupe, although it is going in a similar direction.
At the start you could assume it at first, but it develops differently.
The progression is totally clear and distinct:
In the head by the bergamot very slightly acidic, but this disappears after a few minutes.
With the heart, the jasmine and especially the orange emerges more than clearly, which also holds until the end. I can't smell rose.
In the base I sniff mainly sandal and vanilla
Interestingly enough, the coconut milk only comes out in the drydown, which gives the whole thing a wonderful sunscreen touch.
The shelf life is medium, I would wish for better with the brilliant course, the Sillage on the other hand is quite decent, it doesn't necessarily have to be more.
My conclusion: Surprisingly well done blind buy, thanks to YT!
In the store, I probably would have walked right past it.
You can definitely do worse for a small purse.
