As with Un Jardin après la mousson, the lagoon also repelled me at first. I've been waiting for both of them. I quickly became fond of the Mousson, it is one of my favourite perfumes for the summer.

And now the lagoon. I was incredibly disappointed with the first spray on the paper. This wood I find so loud in men's perfumes.

I passed the Hèrmes counter every now and then and then and suddenly met a woman who was raving about the lagoon to her girlfriend.
To cut a long story short: I dared to try it again - and I'm completely enraptured with enthusiasm. Because these flowers and also the sticky seeds wind themselves around the wood note and the sea breeze like a fine scarf, sometimes they dominate, sometimes not. Quite wonderful.
This perfume focuses me, ground me, similar to Lillipur, and on top of that it is incredibly elegant.

But: it shouldn't be a jardin. You expect different, you expect JC Ellena, and that's not UJSLL. If it were a niche fragrance from e.g. Tiziana Terenzi - in my opinion the comments here would be completely different.

Im advise everyone to test this fragrance once again free from the imagination of the other Jardins.

But I think it's nice that Chiara has found her lagoon city in him again!

As a chypre lover you don't have it easy nowadays, most of them have been reformulated and don't have the old depth anymore. That's why I'm always looking...
This wonderful classic French perfume can be found at -comparatively- low prices, in French perfumeries it is everywhere on the shelves and it is definitely worth a test. I'm not good at describing notes, unfortunately, but he tends towards Molinard de Molinard, with a small, melancholic undertone. Wonderful, a little old-fashioned, but not dusty
