Classic perfume with beautiful vintage bottle
Yes, I admit: I only bought the fragrance because of the bottle. On Ebay. Because it's so vintage. I didn't really care about the contents. Even though it wasn't cheap. It took me a while to figure out what I was laughing at. At the bottom of the bottle is a sticker - it says Tiffany from Tiffany Co. In the end I only found the picture, the bottle is quite unique. I can't really find what's in it anywhere. So the nose has to go for it.

Scent impression: The bottle is for pouring, not spraying, so diesel in the classic sense is not. All in all, the perfume immediately has a classic effect. Aldehydes. Early bloomers, carnation. Underneath it's reservedly woody, incense comes through, a little patchouli and a bit of sweetness. Gets wonderfully warm and oriental after the opening. Could be Chanel, too. But it's already over 50 - the scent, not the wearer.

I found the following description "This perfume was discontinued in the late 1960s; because of the name, the Louangel company was sued by Tiffany & Company for use of the name Tiffany. It is classified as a floral oriental fragrance for women. Top notes: aldehydes, honey Middle notes: rose, carnation, jasmine, ylang ylang, orange blossom, tuberose Base notes: amber, sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss, musk, frankincense"

The description makes sense, too, but I could hardly assign the floral notes, as they are well interwoven. So if you ever meet this little flacon somewhere, take a sniff. Friends of the classic fragrance (No 5 or so) will be delighted.
And you can't complain about the quality - if my bottle is already at least 60 years old, then you really don't notice it in the contents

It's not really pretty. But now I know what it wants to be. An epiphany!
When Mrs B goes to bed in the evening, she likes to put one (or two) of her bottlings on her arm. So to get to know her better, but without disturbing anyone. Last night it was a 10 ml filling of this Kilian scent. Just like that - because Mrs. B had never worn it in public before and actually didn't really know what it smelled like. It's been lying around untouched for over a year, probably bought blind because of the raspberry.
The opening is heavy floral with a chewing gum fresh superstructure (but it was already chewed on - just saying), not so great, but it will be enough to sleep. And then Mrs. B could not sleep for a long time. Not because of the scent, but because the rhythm of sleep is always shaken during the holidays. And after hours her head still rested sleeplessly on her scented arm, her nose twitched and Mrs. B said to herself: "Wait a minute, she knows that. Sniff again. Eh? Did she remember the wrong bottling she had applied? Perfume on. Every fragrance applied is noted without exception. No, Mrs. B made no mistake, it was KDL. Sniff again - she smells Portrait of a Lady. Very clear.
Next morning: the test. One arm POAL, the other KDL. Shit, he smells completely different, if you look closely. Oops - accidentally applied Love & Tears. So KDL on a free space next to POAL.
Opening: totally different. Brief disappointment. POAL is a heavy rose scent, like a fully bloomed very dark rose, but one that you know will be withered tomorrow. Like just before the tipping. But not tilted just yet. KDL greets me again like a withered bouquet of flowers with chewing gum.
It lasts 4 hours and then - taster - yes clearly: POAL in a little weaker. Mrs. B feels as if she had achieved something that day (yes, Jesus, you have to be able to enjoy the little things as well)
Because of the funny opening, the long development time and the similar price, the conclusion is: No, you don't need it

uncommented, because... where would you get it?
It's not the fragrance itself.
I myself got a small amount of it in a raffle package (thanks again BleuDQ), otherwise I probably would never have heard of it in my life.
In general I only comment on fragrances that I know really well, but in this case it has to be enough to wear them twice - because that's it :-(
But you can't leave it like that without a comment

Scent impression: the first 30 minutes remind me of an ice cream candy, really great and unusual, a mixture of very fresh and synthetically sweet (in a good way - just like an ice cream candy that smells fresher than it tastes), after the first half hour the top note decreases strongly and becomes altogether creamier, a little green (like spearmint, which hides a good piece of candy under its pungency) and altogether more like an ice cream candy dissolved in mineral water, but always sweetish
After 3-4 hours it is a skinscent, but for the personal satisfaction you still have some hours of it

Conclusion: I have never smelled like this before, I thought it was really beautiful, you just have to spray it more often (if you knew where to get it from)

And I like the style of the flacon incredibly well

So if anyone knows where it is (Russian company?)... always tell me!

What an interesting lady...
... ...even if she's a constant pain in the ass.
Clara is the emancipated woman of the Edwardian era. When woman was actually still "angel in the house" and was happy when her husband granted her "a room of one's own", she already lived alone and earned her money herself.
The selection was clear, factory workers did not suit her, as a prostitute she would have had to give up her self-determination and would have married - if at all - a nobleman, who as is well known is sown rarely and rarely used to marry idiosyncratic ladies who have already clearly exceeded the age of 20.
So Clara works in a nightclub where men look for adventure night after night and women look for well-off providers. She greets the guests, because they know each other, or at least pretend to. Kisses from the ladies with the heavy sweet perfumes that stick to her during the evening, a discreet nod from the men. Clara brings them glass after glass of the golden-brown brews from the heavy barrels in the cellar. The many ways up and down the narrow cellar stairs make them sweat a lot, but Clara knows that the gentlemen like to flip an extra coin when their swill is fresh and cold. So she walks and doesn't care about the vapours under her arms, which during the night form a strange combination with alcohol and sweet vapours.
Towards the end of the night, the men also start to eye Clara with slightly dazed eyes, she already knows this. Hardly anyone makes open advances to her and she has found out early on that skilful pretending to be clueless can quickly nip it in the bud.
So the only thing left for the remaining gentlemen to do is to lean back and enjoy their melange, the scent of a woman they cannot have (and rarely want to have in an unfogged state), who smells like their favourite place, of sweet promises, of narcotic alcoholic drinks, of work done under unshaven women's axes, and they imagine sinking their noses into Clara's dress and thus keeping the memory of this successful evening alive.
But like every evening Clara goes home alone, to her own little apartment, paid for by her own little money. She hangs out her dress, she can afford the services of a laundress and she does so with the greatest satisfaction. Tomorrow she will wear another one, and with the best will in the world she cannot bear the smell of her dress after a day's work in her apartment overnight. She goes to bed at dawn, freshly washed and completely unscented.
Only the washerwoman turns up her nose the next morning when she collects the dress and lets it disappear in her sack. She has her own ideas about what kind of customer this customer will be...

hmmm... not always, but always
It's one of those bottles that sometimes gets dusty on the back shelf. A lot of bling, so it's not in the front. Not portable everywhere, so it's rarely reached for. But it's actually quite nice
The first impression is tangerine. Not orange, not grapefruit- unmistakably tangerine. And it's not as sweet and juicy as you might think. I don't find the juice as sweet - rather as if there was a lot of peel in it - a bit harsh, definitely refreshing and surprisingly dry (if you can call it that).
I don't notice much of the flowers - maybe a bit of orange blossom, which makes the fruity freshness last longer.
And then comes the wood, very dominant, reminiscent of Layton (only the wood, not the mandarin). Somehow the wood manages to hold the tangerine, because it is a bit harsh and fruity throughout the whole process - which is quite tidy in my case, by the way. I spray a lot (I ALWAYS spray a lot), but I can still make the scent very distinct in the evening - like freshly applied by someone who sprays only once.
I like the combination of tart wood and tangerine surprisingly well, especially because you expect vanilla and then have to sniff several times...
So if you can get it somewhere cheap, you can take it with you. It is really interesting regardless of the season - only every day you don't want to smell so "present"
