Disappointed...
Who doesn't love the smell of a just open bag of fresh marshmallows? Demeter has over 300 colognes, supposedly replicating single scents that you love. The latest I see is pizza.
Well, please let me know if you ever do find a perfume that really does smell like marshmallows. This one smells like a nutty, vanilla, and smoky concoction.
Demeter also doesn't offer samples, you have to bite the bullet and purchase half ounce bottles for $6, not bad but, what do I do with it now?

Missing out...
This perfume (aromatic fougere) has very positive and creative reviews at fragrantica, so I'm surprised there are no reviews here, and therefore, here goes...
It opens with Licorice (or a green shrub that smells like licorice), then comes the mint. I'm sorry but I can't describe what I smell next, but I do like it. Supposedly it's saddle leather which I've never smelled.
I will report more later. Again, I'm adding my amateur review because there are none, and I think you all are missing out on something you will like.
For the dry down it has turned smoky/wood burning. Now all the above notes have left and what is left is a smoky vanilla. I can still smell it 24 hours later, however, the sillage is very close to the skin.

Ok, I'm adding an amateur review because there are no reviews, and this perfume is interesting and deserves a review.
The beginning is piney (woody?), then it smells just like a bar of Dove (amazing how it does that, OOH! it's a butterfly). The end is just wonderful (not piney and not soapy), here is where the floral starts.
Longevity is GREAT.

Gardenia...
This perfume smells like gardenias all the way through. Gardenia is not listed but that's what it smells like. I even asked a friend what she smelled. It's the best gardenia smelling perfume I've ever smelled. So if this is what you're looking for, then try it.
A Winner...
The first perfume so far, where all three stages it goes through I LOVE!!! So I'm wondering are these the perfumes that you buy? I've sampled so many where I liked the dry down only.
And it lasted at least twelve hours.
The main ingredient is cetalox (ambroxan), but it does change at each stage. The artist loves this one ingredient so much that he wanted a perfume with that note only.
