It's a perfume so hard to describe! Let's start with the bottle, very particular, certainly not go unnoticed, a big Y, it almost looks like an Indian Totem, with the chrome ball-shaped spray, marbles so fashionable in the 90s. I always wanted to smell it but I never had the opportunity, then seeing the prices on the internet I had to wait for the deal to make it mine.
I remember that in the commercial there were so many guys, so I always imagined it as a perfume for the young age but I was wrong, this is a great perfume wearable by everyone. This fragrance has different elements, but the one that stands out the most are the spices, it opens with pepper, a lot of nutmeg, lavender and leather, a sort of mineral notes, accompanied by woody hints, with a very "classic" and solid base, made from cedar and patchouli. The modern intro blends in great with the base, the spices, the floral sweetness and the sea breeze very well accompany the final woodiness, making it a unique perfume. Sweetness reminds me a little of JPG hurts. I have to say a lot about the 2000s, especially the opening brings to mind the videos on MTV, the first CompactDiscs, the first mobile phones, the boyband, the first videogames.
Average projection and longevity, a beautiful sweet, sticky and basically aquatic essence remains on the skin.
Today it is unacceptable, if you find it as a remnant in some store, buy it without delay, I recommend, those with the Y shape

This flake of allure is certainly a gem, certainly the most interesting. The old edition was edt concentree, replaced by the edp, the latter I find it less citric in opening and less long-lived. I like the fragrances that match the top notes and base notes, although they are very different from each other, it is something that succeeds in a few fragrances (the instant de guerlain pour homme), and allure is one of those. The lemon and vanilla are quite different but thanks to this fragrance they find a beautiful harmony, given surely also thanks to the quality and the choice of the other ingredients.
It opens with a lot of lemon and bergamot, which makes it absolutely fresh, very sparkling pink pepper. After a while the citric dulls and gives way to the sweetness of vanilla and tonka, when the vanilla is about to become too sweet vetiver and cedar. Many say it looks like a lemon cake but I don't feel it at all. Very refined and classy, and the way it evolves over time is beautiful. The champagne yellow color renders the goodness of the perfume very well. You can feel the DNA of Allure but it differs a lot from the brothers, not revolutionary but a nice accessory

I can never speak negatively about this fragrance. It was what I used to use as a teenager, I always used it, night and day and in all seasons, for me it doesn't have a defined target or an ideal season to wear it, because it's simply good! I'm obviously talking about the Euroitalia version, Bought the annoscuro in an old shop in the center, I heard the new one is a lot of chemist (but go?), To tell the truth also the opening of the old D&G PH knows a little 'of chemist, perhaps the lemon-lavender from this effect, but it is only the opening, then it opens and makes its quality felt.
I hear lavender, tobacco, sweet citrus fruits, musks and tonka, then citric and sparkling opening, and at the end sweet and slightly herbaceous. Very clean sheets, obviously not the clean dixan that is going very fashionable in recent years. The scent is fairly linear, and although all these qualities are difficult to put into a single fragrance, in this I find a sort of balance that is difficult to find in other fragrances. It will not be a scent that amazes, but does not even want to be, perhaps for this a little underrated, but it is an excellent perfume, rich, linear and elegant.
I do not recommend the new version, look for the old Euroitaly with the velvet box and rectangular aluminum plate, you won't regret it

How did they ruin it? Valuable is the homme, enchanting the intense, with this they have messed up. They added what they didn't have to add and they took away what they didn't have to take away. take roads, alas different. The opening is very sparkling, you can barely smell the warm "lipstick", a predominant characteristic of the older brothers. After that, no pear, no cocoa, no warm, enveloping aura, but so much, roppo iris, dusty iris, annoying. expects an even hotter flakers, and instead is just an annoying scent, worse, absolutely an involution with respect to the homme and the intense, which are among the most innovative and valid scents left on the market.

Peering into the shelves of the perfumeries, the homme line of guerlain I have always ignored, always being at the bottom. I first read guerlain homme edt, a beautiful fresh linear, that tastes like mint, lime with a vetiver and patchouli base, beautiful and interesting, but something is missing besides the longevity. I then discover that there is an intense version and I immediately think of an exclusively more long-lived and persistent version but it is not so, the addition of flowers, rhubarb, rum I have totally changed, it has completed to make it become a rounder perfume, he perfected and enriched it. If I think of a classy man in a suit and tie, I imagine him with this perfume, of immense class.
Opens a lot of lime green mint and crispy rabbarbaro, sweet heart with a hint of rum slightly talcum flowers and very classic bottom a nice dry vetiver, almost generic opening but don't be fooled. All the smells and nuances you can imagine with the highest quality you know, it's a perfume for connoisseurs, the most distracted noses can consider it as a simple cool but it's not like that. The real experts will know how to catch the nuances. The green, the sweet, the herbaceous, the flowery makes it a fresh and elegant, never banal and attractive fragrance for classy men. Very versatile but not suitable for kids.
I recommend you take the old versions, the new one has all the notes flattened. Although being edp, it doesn't behave like such, but it knows how to defend.
