My most recent purchase. After reading so many negative reviews on that perfume, I thought I should try it. It could be really good. It was love at first sniff. After searching a bit on internet, I realised that it is discontinued. I was so disappointed but I managed to buy a 120ml bottle. It all happened in half an hour after the first sniff. The next two days that I used the rest of my sample, I loved it.
The eucalyptus note, rather than smelling medicinal, combines with pine n cedar in a woodsy, herbal accord. And what a delicate rose! The eucalyptus is hanging out in the background from the start to the finish.
Longevity is good but sillage is moderate, it becomes a skin scent rather quickly, but what a beautiful skin scent! It gives me these cool, delicious whiffs of piney-rose throughout the day.
It is cool n refreshing. Can be warm too I think

I recently decided that I need a leather perfume for the coming winter. My first one. I have sampled some and I decided to go with Tuscan leather or Ombre leather.
Tuscan leather is a dream. Crispy raspberry at the opening makes it a bit fruity, saffron a bit spicy, and a beautiful leather. I found Ombre leather a bit flowerish for my taste. Also gut, but not for me. I never had a flowerish perfume. I don`t really like them. Except of rose. I kept smelling it and I started to like it more and more every day. It smells nice, a bit sweet, a bit playful, more wearable than Tuscan. I bought Tuscan and after 2 weeks I bought Ombre too. And I am so happy. They are so similar, so different, soo good.
I never had a leather perfume, I never had a flowerisch perfume and I never owned a Tom Ford perfume before.
Now I have !!

This perfume opens with a mesmerising Pepper supported by soft citruses. A bit refreshing, a bit sweet. I guess from the tonka bean. The freshness is enhanced by juniper berries.
That smell lingers throughout the whole composition along with smokey tobacco and leather. Everything is rounded by the signature Amouage incense. It is quite linear from the opening to the dry down. Not too aggressive even for a hot summer day.
The performance is very good like all the Amouages. Good longevity and good projection.
I sampled it 3-4 years ago. I found it good but not bottle worthy. I sampled it again the previous week and I didn`t changed my opinion. Maybe I liked it a bit less than I did the first time.

What can I add that hasn't already been said about this fragrance? This is a reference vetiver but to my nose, is just as much a tobacco-forward fragrance as it is vetiver.
Its citrus aromatic opening is classic Guerlain and then comes the vetiver and the tobacco, supported by some carnation and spices. The vetiver here stands out in an exquisite, fresh and very realistic way. The background becomes a bit warmer and earthy .
Well made fragrance that tells you exactly what you are going to get. Smells mature and classy.
I think that it can be worn in any season. It performs really well.

Having tried several of the house's perfumes, I can safely say that I didn't like any of them. I find them very mediocre and overrated. But this is good. Maybe the best?
I don't like amber that much. I find it very dense and sweet. I always thought it was more on the feminine side. But in this case, the amber is ''airy'' and delicate. I also hate sweet perfumes. But I bought this one. It is that good. I wore it last winter and then I sold it. I had enough. But that doesn't change anything. It's a good perfume.
1-2 sprays are enough for the whole day. It also seems that women like it. Or love it?
