If West Coast of Lana del Rey was a fragrance, it would probably smell like this one.

In the first moment at the beginning we find ourselves on a beach. Almost alcoholic bitter orange with a touch of crushed fir needle and an almost creaky bergamot surround us, while the salty and driftwood spray of the sea comes closer and closer to our feet.

With time, this cocktail salt note settles into a herbaceous woody base... The fir-needle impression remains, only this time interspersed with clean musk, dry patchouli and the poorly definable acidity that remains from the top note

From a windy and tipsy day at the beach to a noble but not perfect Cadillac convertible in a few hours.

Very elegant and special. Just by the slightly defusing towards the brother more pleasing but nevertheless conspicuous and certainly no 0815 Einheitsbrei. Nevertheless quite heavy and herbaceous for a typical summer cologne.

I would rather use it in the evening, because after 1 1/2 hours on my skin it becomes rather herbaceous and gloomy instead of light and cheerful.

Shelf life's okay. In good warm conditions around 4 hours, with a slightly higher dosage even up to 6.

The Sillage is present, pleasant and especially for summer evenings with friends it is stable enough to attract attention but never to be the annoyingly exaggerated perfume futzy.

But what is really great is the spray button, which can blow out very small bumps as well as real wafts of mist.

Most of us have probably already come into contact with the film Bridget Jones (or its sequels), either voluntarily or involuntarily.

All in all, a sometimes very cheesy but quite entertaining film series with an actor who is very dear to my heart: Hugh Grant as Daniel Cleaver

And that's exactly what this fragrance is to me.

An over-sexualized character with a rather clumsy appearance and the typical strangely tough Hugh Grant airs and graces.

Fleur du Mâle is a friendly erotic clumsy with a desire for recognition. A kind of brighter modern Joop Homme. Sweet massive, highly cultivated flowers and the typical slightly vanilla aroma of Le Mâle DNA. If you like it, it smells a bit feminine but also provocative. Typical JPG halt.

The course goes from super flowery and sparkling to bouquet with a splash of the ancestor and the durability is bombastic. 8 hours before it becomes a fragrance close to the skin, which is for a good wearable summer fragrance really more than just great.

The Sillage is very strong for the first 5 hours, after that it goes down slowly but is always noticeable.

Who has a heart for very flowery comrades should definitely test this. All others can save their money, because there is absolutely no room for compromise.

The name is so program.

Virgin Island Water is for me one of the founding fathers of the trend towards citric coconut scents in summer.

Soleil Blanc, Cool Water Intense and many others have jumped on this trend.

Like his countless conspecifics, VIW is absolutely unisex, striking without being provocative and very versatile. He is noble and casual in one, attractive and relaxed, serious and humorous

For summer nights he would be a little too cheerful and not very mysterious, but for the days and evenings he is perfect. Beautiful coconut, surrounded by lime and manderine, supported by very soft creamy spice and floral notes. Progression is only present in the sense that the fragrance gains some floral notes over time and the coconut note loses some of its dominance.

The shelf life is generally very good and the sillage is noticeable without mutating into a running Bounty chocolate bar.

I just can't quite decide between him and Soleil Blanc. Both a little different, but equal enough to own only one...

Flowery overkill served with a Sillage that tramples everything into the ground + durability until the third shower, or at least 12+ hours with good performance. You need self-confidence for this, unnoticed and without "What is it?" You can't get a look anywhere like that anymore

In the beginning a little lighter and more acidic, but most of the time a lot of heliotrope mixed with certainly synthetic but not biting jasmine and other floral chords+something oriental.

Towards the end (i.e. after a good night's drinking and sobering up) a little more subtle, almost modern but still noticeable

Certainly the strongest and most distinctive fragrance still available in drugstores. I would be interested to know how strong it was before

The price is for something special really a catch and at least in my age group (boy 20) I am the only carrier of this masterpiece.

If you like fragrances that push everything to the top and can also be labeled negative or boastful, you should try Joop Homme as a flower bomb.

You know that Chanel feeling?

Somehow Chanel scents just make me feel different... It's like there's a substance in every Chanel fragrance that makes you feel self-confident and lets you float above things. Between dreaming, self-acceptance and arrogance

Riviera is no exception. Clean, light, unisex and yet very creative, he comes along without having to provoke with anything other than his overbearing manner.

In general it is more on the feminine side, but would be wearable for men in summer without any problems.

A very powdery citric start that slowly becomes more floral without really changing much of its DNA. Sympathetic, intelligent and dignified.

Lasts on me about 6+ hours, at 4 hours of tidy but never heavy or overloaded sillage.

If a woman wore this and came near me, I'd go absolutely crazy. Cuddly scent!
