I was so enthusiastic at the beginning ..
Interesting how olfactory impressions can change. In any case, the first spray was a revelation and I'm lucky that you can't order this fragrance online anywhere. "The brisker Terre d'Hermes" I thought to myself.

During the extensive test, I was constantly reminded of Terre d'Hermes. And the durability, the price, the performance, everything was just right. A clear purchase.

Sprayed on again the next day. Oops, that's vintage green! Where has Terre d'Hermes gone? Perhaps a mixture of the two?

And then the exact same thing happened to me with Vintage Green: After initial euphoric enthusiasm, I was more and more annoyed. It must be this Petalia® that, like many synthetic raw materials, initially convinces and then disappoints over time. Me at least.

I really do know worse fragrances and if I ever come across Narcotic on another person, I will certainly find it attractive (the fragrance).

Fragrance description: Green (tea), fresh (bergamot), lusciously sweet (lychee) and lusciously floral (indefinable).

And once again we have proof that extensive(!) testing before buying can be worthwhile.

What a pleasure! :)))
Two sprays between my shirt and jacket. I start the day and am delighted with how I smell. On the one hand, it smells like freshly laundered laundry, but also like cuddly musk. Neither is too dominant, but rather appealingly fresh with a perfect hint of sweetness, giving the fragrance a rounded effect.

It's a bit like entering a dry cleaners and realizing after the initial shock that you actually quite like the scent once you get used to it. At least that's how I feel.

It's something really different. No luscious sweetness, no cutting ambroxan notes, no overly sophisticated elegance and no aquatics. Simply freshly washed, invigorated and ironed.

And this clean freshness lasts a long time, compared to other clean freshnesses. You really only need these two sprays. More would seem unnatural and intrusive to my taste. But this way you carry a fine, pleasant touch of cleanliness with you.

Clean Laundry is comparable to the wonderful "Marseille | Comme des Garçons". Both are brothers in spirit, although the Marseille has a somewhat irritating effect on me when you smell it up close, and only reminds me of the soap of the same name and fresh laundry when it is more subtly distributed.

Dua can do synthetics. They have proven that (once again) with this fragrance. Clean Laundry is very attractive in its own way, but doesn't come across as clumsy. Anyone who likes freshness and doesn't want to smell like everyone else should try this perfume.

A Midsummer Sale
This affordable fragrance deserves a review, not just a short statement.

At the beginning aldehydes and a bit of citrus freshness show. Reminds at first of a vintage "Grey Flannel (Eau de Toilette) | Geoffrey Beene" , only not quite as harsh.

Always interesting when you know "I know that one!" And sometimes the penny then falls, as in this case: "A Midsummer Dream | Roja Parfums"

Very clear similarities, aldehydes at the beginning and in the base quite mild, warm, pleasant and balanced. Not sure I could tell them apart blindly. Possibly the Musc Yassine is still a bit more fruity.

Anyway, after a few strokes with the roll-on on the neck, you smell soft, attractive and long lasting. A small jewel, which was apparently unfortunately taken from the program. But there are still a few copies to buy. These few euros are well spent.

Sister Anna and her fragrance
The day after the first surgery of my life, a group of three nurses came into the hospital room. Good morning, I am nurse Anna, have you slept well? Please times measure fever, blood pressure, pulse, drainage empty, medication and so on.

Whoops! What was that? A wonderful scent reached my nose. Not too much, just right. Something oriental. Patchouli and a little sweetness. No wait, there was also freshness. Oh, how good that smelled! I guessed one of the two grooms. Good taste, colleague!

I took a deep breath. Several times. Nurse Anna, a young, sympathetic and pretty Eastern European woman, asked me anxiously if I had breathing problems. No, I said, someone just smells very good here.

Sister Anna blushed massively and said that was probably her. She tried in vain to keep her professional composure, and not to show her joy.

A day later, I took heart and asked her to tell me which fragrance that was, which she wore again today. Without further ado, she called me Coco Mademoiselle.

I could not believe my ears. Coco Mademoiselle is floral, fresh and somewhat sweet, but has no oriental influences. The Intense version, she added. Aha! Now it made sense. Indeed: the freshness of her scent had something of the typical, unmistakable floral Mademoiselle freshness that I also know from Gris Dior and from the Oltremare EdT. But here, the freshness was dominated by sweetly warm notes. Every time the door was open and Sister Anna was around, a subtle whiff of her scent floated into my room. In any case, the durability seemed to be right.

As I said, at first I thought it was the scent of one of the young nurses. That would have fit quite well. But the assessment of the community is:
Ladies 52%, older 26%, younger 22%, (a not quite logical division).
To the point: ladies 100%, men 0%.
Prevents possibly the naming an allocation as a fragrance that men can also wear?

In any case, I will have a bottling sent to me to find out whether the fragrance is not yet suitable for a gentleman like me. From the designation "Mademoiselle" I let me in any case not deter. Would be even nicer ...

Thank you for everything, Sister Anna :-)

edit 16.09.21: Somehow, Sister Anna's batch had less tinsel. My current bottling reminds me but too much of the normal EdP. So nix for me. It remains at 0% men's share.

Then you wear it.
If you, nourished by water and bread,
in breath oxygen, in longing happiness,
Shy to disturb the living and the dead,
before too far thou go'st, full of caution rather retreat.
When joy and sorrow mark thy face,
Thou wear'st it not.

When sorrow and trouble remind thee of the woe,
that can wait around every bright corner,
and the memory of all the wrong steps,
Makes thee forebode what wisdom hath devised,
when fearfully thou draw'st back, Before the moral of the tale:
Thou bearest it not.

But if thou art brave, like the emperor's dogs,
and fearless choose thy way,
mysterious and strong at every hour,
Thou countest thyself the measure of all things,
if nothing, and if no one, can ever pull you down,
then you wear it.
