Actually... Neroli.
Banana Republic seems to take its perfume names seriously. Or also his clientele.

Three fragrances of this manufacturer I know so far: Oud Mosaic actually smells like oud, Vintage Green smells really crisp green (although not vintage) and Neroli Woods smells like neroli (orange blossom or bitter orange blossom). Only "Woods", that is, there are no woods. Meant here but probably a forest of orange trees in full bloom.

This orange blossom goes in the direction of 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser. Not in the direction of Petit Matin, where it seems quite synthetic (but good!).

Neroli Woods is a classic fragrance for neroli lovers! Neroli is in the foreground and is only slightly complemented with fresh tangerine, as well as with light musk.

Similarities with Creed's original Vetiver, as has already been suggested here, I can not perceive. There, the orange blossom is part of an overall composition, here it stands as a solo instrument in the foreground. Only in the common ambered musk finish, both come a little closer.

Neroli is a lovely fragrance with a relaxing effect. Neroli for itself but smells rather boring and needs something fresh, or green support. Exactly that was implemented here, and so unobtrusively that you almost have the impression that you would smell exclusively Neroli.

Only then, for example, if you have already once turned away with shudders from the simple Spanish Nenuco baby water, you realize that Neroli has been aptly complemented here, and is thus portable, interesting and pleasant.

No surprise, no high-flyer, but a nice summer scent for neroli lovers.

I will keep the bottle because it was not expensive and because I still feel like orange blossom from time to time.

And if this orange blossom one is then still offered in such a wonderful, heavy, high-quality bottle, one can only say: A good product, at a very good price. (As long as it stays under 35,- Euro. But I also understand everyone who is willing to pay more)

Crisp green
I just came from the flower shop. I had to buy the tulips. There's a big bunch in front of me. The stems squeak when you rub them together. Cut off the ends, break off a few leaves, put it all in a bowl. This morning's brewed tea leaves go on top. A fig from yesterday is already too soft and is also disposed of in there.

Now, if you sniff the bowl, you have the foundation of this scent. In addition, there is a touch of Iso-E-Super and some light musk.

The fragrance reminds me of the esteemed Wūlóng Chá.

Applied generously, one is refreshed tart green. One smells interesting and pleasant. Now that's an unusual fresh scent! No Aquatik, the citrus only to round off, otherwise a lot of green with very little fig sweetness. Not too tart, but quite flattering and attractive.

I am very positively surprised. Not only by the fragrance, but also by the bottle: massive, yet handy, with heavy metal lid, which is cushioned by a soft plastic ring when put on, pleasant in appearance, with a fine sprayer. 350 grams. A real announcement for a 75ml bottle.

On the price I do not look. I do not care if a fragrance at this level costs 20 or 60 euros. The main thing is that it is good and I like to wear it. And this one is good. And I like wearing it. A nice change with decent durability.

Here we go. Greener it does not get!

I still have an old hat in the closet. Excellent workmanship, not to get broken, warming in winter and with extremely comfortable fit.

Unfortunately, he is totally out of time. If you put it on nowadays, you look like a relic from another era, when there were still gentlemen who always held the door open for the lady, adjusted her chair and only sat down when she did.

It's a terrible shame that this old hat isn't really wearable today. You can hardly get such superior quality anywhere else, and if you do, it's for ten times the price. Gladly more. Depending on the manufacturer.

Couldn't a few changes be made to this old hat to catapult it into modern times? Maybe add something colorful, bright? Change the shape a bit?

But otherwise, please by all means leave it as is! This is quality that gives pleasure. We do not even want to talk about the price.

Juicy, tangy, classic, beautiful.
My first bottle of this fragrance was an impulse buy. Happened to me in the past often times: Sniffed, fell in love, bought. Today, no more. Well, almost.

But I can explain it. It was a special situation. I had to go to the hospital. Long story. All went well. It was going to take some time. They still kept you there then (because you could bill per day, not on a per case basis).

When I got my hands on Eau d'Orange Verte, it was immediately clear to me that this was the right companion for the next few weeks.

After all, one does not want to destabilize panties in the hospital, nor exude decadent elegance. Important attributes are cleanliness, freshness and also good mood, gladly also some comfort.

All this conveys this fragrance. For me rather no "Today we smell times after ...", but rather a "Short refreshment pleasing?".

At that time, by the way, I had soon stolen my 200ml bottle. Was I shocked and pissed off! But I still had a green bottle of wonderfully scented shower gel. Thank you, dear thief, that you have left me.

Eau d'Orange Verte is one of those compositions that will never go out of fashion. A citrus fragrance that has that certain something. Hard to say what, it just fits.

You spray it on, get a better mood, and soon it's gone again, except for a hint of soft wood. Barely perceptible anymore.

For me, this fragrance is functional. He refreshes, and the environment does not bother him. On the contrary. He skilfully circumnavigates 4711 associations, because the excessive orange blossom is missing. But tart orange zest abounds. And other citrus notes.

Juicy, tangy, classic, beautiful. Plus, it's affordable. I like it very much.

Chemical Weapons Alert
A fresh scent that lasts. It makes my ears prick up. That's what I'm looking for. Pineapple and grapefruit are welcome

But what a shock on the first test. Nausea at first, then a headache. This smell is the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. I also like it high-grade-intensive, but most of all I like it relaxed. And not so loud please

The positive thing about loud and strong, however, is that such a fragrance is often very pleasant from a distance and fills the room with an attractive aura. But somebody has to wear the fragrance and then has it right under his nose. And that is (at least for me) really no pleasure.

Here there is artificial wood, ambroxan and in the base a powerful synthetic orange blossom that is fruitful. Like a sliced pineapple with orange blossom in it. This reminds me very much of the orange blossom of Kurkjan's Petit Matin

Granted: The base note also enchants me. The headache stuff has warped and the radiant fruit blossom looks very attractive.

Overall, however, I would rather warn than recommend. Please use very carefully! Place a sprayer in the air and underneath. For God's sake, no more! And in any case hold your breath! Breathe in only at a sufficient distance from the place of spray. When sniffing the bottle, do not touch the spray head with your nose! Otherwise it's over for today with scents test.
