Somewhere between extra dry and dust dry
Always interesting how different but the scent perception is: For me, this is pretty much the driest fragrance I know. This fragrance is for me somewhere between extra dry and dusty dry. It almost makes me thirsty. If I put it on right after a shower, I don't have to dry myself off. If I smell it too long, then I need nasal spray afterwards, because my nasal mucosa is dried out.
So drier is hard for me to imagine, and it will always remain a mystery to me how you can smell damp, musty earth or the like here.

Spicy leathery herbal soap
I'm talking again not long around the bush: Bogart EdT (sometimes called Bogart Signature) smells for me like spicy herbal soap. Whereby one would have to speak, in order to do justice to the temporal course, actually rather of a soapy leather-herbal spice.

Interesting what there is supposed to be everything in the top note, because I personally smell after application for an hour first nothing but pure soap. And I mean now no citrus soap or the like, but just soap.

Interestingly, this dominant soap smell fades into the background after an hour and gives way to a leather-herb-spice cocktail, which I had never smelled so before.

Overall, a pretty interesting scent. One should wait after applying but an hour before you go among people, because this heavy soap smell at the opening acts on me a little intrusive.

Sweet masculinity
One of the few sweet men's fragrances that I like.
Opium pour homme is sweet, but at the same time has a masculine aggressiveness that is unparalleled. The top notes are brutal. This fragrance is not a quiet tread, but an olfactory steamroller. Despite the sweetish pace almost perverse and obscene. Definitely too intrusive to be suitable for the office. But also a room-filling statement, next to which most other fragrances pale.

In the current reformulation a fragrance that can be worn without any problems
Antaeus is often described as an animalic scent, and I once had an Antaeus dupe that actually fit that description. In this respect, I assume that the original version of Antaeus actually smelled quite animalic. In the current reformulation, on the other hand, Antaeus is a very balanced and easily wearable fragrance. Certainly very masculine and not for milquetoast boys, but also far from dirty. Rather respect-inspiring. In the office, I personally wear it rather rarely, because I do not want to be perceived as respect-inspiring there. But if you want to look respect-inspiring at work, you can certainly wear it there. For me personally rather elegant occasions, to which I dress up. In this context, I wear him but very happy.

Hairspray deluxe
Without beating around the bush: Platinum Egoiste reminds me very much of hairspray. But not a cheap hairspray, but a noble hairspray. Hairspray deluxe, so to speak. An everyday fragrance that you can wear to the office without a problem, if you don't have a problem with a blow-dry hairstyle image. Definitely not for rebels though. Personally, I like to wear them when I feel like being perceived as a clean-cut man. For my more daring days, however, I prefer other scents.
